And wouldn't you know it, my usual dentist was on vacation. A good friend referred me to his dentist, Dr. Angela Ayzin. He spoke of her with rave reviews, from skill, to cost, to cleanliness and personality. Dr. Ayzin lived up to my friend's raves and beyond. For starters when I called the office she answered her own phone. What dentist does that? 'My staff is at lunch and the phone rang,' she explained. And she took the time to listen to my situation. And made an appointment for me a few days later. The office is easy to park in. Small town vibes. Sylvia and Claudia (I feel like I may have gotten one of those names wrong -- will update), front office and hygienist were both incredibly courteous and efficient. Dr. Ayzin entered and took a brief history before looking at my x-rays. Her advice was to simply be careful while on my trip, because while the chip was significant, it wasn't threatening enough to do an emergency procedure. And to follow up with my dentist when both he and I are back in town. When she speaks, her passion for the art of dentistry comes through clearly. There is a joy to the way she describes things, and she understands the nuances of dentistry but can explain them in simple, yet precise language. Takeaways: root canals have gotten a bad name because most people get them after waiting too long, and people chew a little like giraffes, more of a gnash / grind than a linear up and down. She even took the time to draw diagrams for me, explaining what was going on in my mouth. Note: I'm not sure if this service is offered to everyone. The visit was finished off with a few samples of remineralizing toothpaste and instructions to use it as a cream, to be applied with a finger, not a toothbrush. Also, the office is not purple. It is lavender. Remember this, it could come in handy later. Dr. Ayzin and staff, thank you for taking care of me. I am impressed and comforted.

I became friends with Dr. Janjik Talin, simply because I see her so often with my three kids, and she is so sweet to them. She always asks them how they are doing in school and with life. She has even shared her parenting experiences with me. My eldest had a horrible dental accident, my son was in shock, and we need emergency help. They took us in within an hour. This is when a relationship with a dentist like Dr. Janjik is golden. My son felt safe with her. She was honest with our situation. She provided hope. Then, she sent us forward with Dr. Andy Kang, who helped with the emergency. I had never met him before. We couldn't have felt more safe and secure. After the accident, we had to visit often with Dr. Kang. He went above and beyond for my son. He was so kind, understanding, and helpful. We were very grateful to have such great compassion and help with such a stressful situation. My two other children have had braces, head gear, retainers, and expanders done here with Dr Matthew Moadel. Because we followed his directions, my kids' teeth look great. I have to say that these dentists' jobs are very difficult. Many adults have fear of dental work. Imagine how it is for children and their parents watching over them. I have seen that it can get very frustrating for the dentists. Kids don't wear their retainers, parents let things slide with their kids' brushing and candy, etc. These dentists care A LOT. I can understand how they must get frustrated when they see that kids' dental health is not progressing in a good way. There might be reviews complaining about experiences, but I have to say that this office is the best I've ever seen. These dentists are on point, they get the job done, and they do it with a smile for the children.

I was referred to a doc for a root canal which was botched- then referred to a separate endodontist to fix the botched root canal at my own cost. In 2024, I had to move to Texas where I took care of my mother for her end of life for seven months (had to leave my job of six years to do this). During that time of living in the Heart Hospital in Plano while she was being cared for - my own health suffered as did my dental care. When I returned in 2025, I was loudly scolded by a hysterical dentist (not dr.chetty - by now I'm just being passed around to whatever dentist is available, willnilly) and condescendingly forced through a toothbrushing tutorial at 49 years old - even though I've mentioned the situation of caretaking my mom. I've had excellent dental habits for years brushing and flossing and bi annual dentist care. I complained to the front desk and asked not to paired with that dentist again. I actually said "make a note in my file so it doesn't happen again" I was surprised and annoyed that on my next visit - they paired me with that same dentist again. I spoke to the practice manager who apologized and tried to make it right. I decided to give the office on last chance. Went for a cleaning this week - and just as fyi - still haven't found a job since returning from settling mom's estate. The hygienist asked for x rays which I said I could not afford at this time. Fine. She moves on with the cleaning. According to her, my dental habits are great (nice to hear again). New dentist comes - never met before and says everything looks great. He Asks about x rays and hygienist says "well do x rays next visit" very discreetly. Appt over and I'm escorted to pay for the cleaning. I pay for the cleaning by and now the receptionist says in front of the waiting room "why didn't you get x rays" to which I responded "as I explained privately to the hygienist I cannot afford x rays right now. I had some done in April when I chipped my front tooth and I'm having the right side x rays at endodontists office next Wednesday" Receptionist: so you will be getting x rays on your next visit? "If I am employed again I will be able to do that and this conversation is inappropriate and embarrassing to me in this public forum" Receptionist: I'm gonna need to sign a waiver then... No I'm not signing a waiver. This is something the dentist can discuss with me or the practice manager but I'm done being scolded by this place. I'm not wasting money on regular disrespect and over charges. Staff needs sensitivity training.
