Was there last night and ordered 2 pizzas, one with just cheese and the other one was a Taco pizza. The cheese was ordered with LITE sauce, that didn't happen. The other Taco pizza came with the toppings on the side, which I felt was a little strange. I've only lived out here since February and only found one pizza place that has a 5 star rating. Pizza on the West Coast IMHO is a lot better, But I will keep looking. read more

Gambino's Pizza in Andover is the worst. First time getting pizza from this location and I will never be back. The absolute worst service ever. Ordered a Large Pizza, Sandwich and Wings. They charged me almost 65 dollars. They told me it would be 50 dollars over the phone when I placed the order but apparently that did not include tax and a hefty tip they gave themselves without asking. When I asked to speak to a manager, they made excuses and gave me 5 dollars back in change as they could not refund the tip they gave themselves back to my card. Stay away from this location. They are thieves who will leave your wallet empty and your stomach unsatisfied. read more

I grew up liking Gambinos. For several months, I have been meaning to give this location a try. I ordered delivery, so can't say much about the restaurant. However, the delivery beat their estimate by 15 minutes and the driver was nice. I suspect he might have been the owner. The thing I like about Gambinos is simplicity. Their mobster pizza is old school good and better than the bigger well-known chains. You get tons of toppings with...get this....real extra cheese by default recipe. We ordered spaghetti and a calzone on the website for carry out. Went to pickup and they claimed they were out of spaghetti. They never called to notify us the we're out of spaghetti. How do you run out of spaghetti? Did it ever occur to anyone to pickup some spaghetti at Dillon's? I guess that's what happens when you leave teenagers in charge and don't provide guidance. I would have given a one star for the complete failure of customer service, but the calzone we ended up sharing, was actually pretty good. I actually went to the GAMBINO'S at Harry and Webb. Frickin delicious. I got the DELUXE and substituted tomatoes for green peppers and added pineapple..it was phenomenal! Went for lunch buffet around 11:15. Some of the pizza and sides tasted liked it had been there awhile and there wasn't much variety. The pizza we personally requested tasted good however. Being from Augusta, I wanted a really good pizza and decided to pass on our local Pizza Hut. Round trip, 25 miles. I should have just stayed local. We ordered two different flavors of wings and they put all the drumsticks with one flavor and the other had all the sticks? Why? They weren't fried, but baked and not so good. The pizza was worse. Okay so, I'm a type one diabetic meaning that I can't eat a whole lot of carbs per meal. Being recently diagnosed I've miiissseddd pizza. Now you can buy the frozen pizza at Walmart with the cauliflower crust but it's just not the same. I am beyond happy and impressed that Gambino's offers a KETO pizza. Pizza was delicious. We got the "Capone" it was very flavorful and had a nice kick of spice from the jalapeños. Would recommend, especially if you love and can handle spice. Plus, the delivery guy was very kind especially during stormy weather. read more

I had very high hopes for this pizza joint. My husband had it many years ago. He was certain that this pizza place would be above and beyond all pizzas. The atmosphere was great, everything was clean and nice. It got loud in there with people laughing and kids yelling. Could hardly talk to my husband. They had a salad bar which was delightful to see. So of course we got a one trip salad. That where is ends. We had a cheese and chicken pizza. The pizza was so dry that all I tasted was bread and chicken. There was hardly any sauce. Poplars Pizza is so much better. I am so disappointed. Oh well. I hope others have a better experience. read more

Great pizza buffet for lunch and outstanding service. Went here after a delightful trip to Dmv next door. The food was good and so was the service. I left behind some papers and the manager gave me a call so I was able to get them back. That is what customer service is all about. Have had my orders messed up a few times. This evenings was the worst. Placed an entire order over the phone. Showed up to pick it up and the SAME GUY I placed the order with didn't remember it. He said the order got "lost in translation". Apparently they need a better system if they want to stay in business. Called to order just now & the gal who answered the phone was unbelievably RUDE, saying new mgmt & no discount. Tried this place out for the first time tonight. Called in the order and they said 15-20 minutes and it will be ready for pickup. I arrived 20 minutes later and paid. After waiting another 20 minutes I was told they screwed up the order (large pizza with pepperoni) and then screwed up the pizza. The teenage cashier was nice and apologetic and felt terrible. The manager who was working right there never apologized or offered a drink, discount, etc. I got the pizza an hour after we first called it in. The pizza was below average and given my experience it will be my first and last time at this place. I would not recommend it. read more

Horrible. $42.00 for a large taco pizza, a gluten free taco pizza and a 2 liter. Picked up and paid for and realized that the GF pizza was burnt to a crisp. Went in and complained, only to be told that is the way they come out. I replied that they don't come out that way from Papa Murphys and was told sorry about that. Both pizzas were awful, we have had frozen pizza that was better. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

The food that you get is good. However we were here on a Sunday for the buffet - they had no sauce for the cheese sticks, no pasta, no ravioli, no fries - between noon and 1:00. The heating area wasn't even turned on & when my husband inquired, the young lady said she didn't know why they didn't have anything out- yet didn't seem to do anything about it. The lettuce was wilted & browning on the salad bar. At one point, with 20+ people in the restaurant, they had less than a full pizza on the buffet. We've visited this location 5 times & it just seems to get worse each time. I feel bad for the owner as I'm confident they are unaware of how things are being run when they aren't there. read more
