Seems like they're trying to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. I ordered a sandwich and side but forgot to ask for the mini. I then gave my daughter the debit card so I could take my toddler to the restroom. She ordered her food and paid. When I got the food they had given me the largest sandwich they have. The cashier never asked what size I wanted. Needless to say, I spent more than I intended and had too much food. I emailed the company but there was no reply. I like to try new spots, places I've never heard of, I get on yelp and pick a random place every now and then. This restaurant did not disappoint, I tried the Baja enchilada soup and club sandwich! Must go to Cinnamon's Deli!! My family and I stopped in for dinner this evening while traveling to Wichita. My wife and I lived in Wichita from 2003-2009 and used to enjoy Cinnamon's Deli at the location on Rock Road. We drove over there today only to see that the Rock Road location had closed. :0( However, we were elated to find a Cinnamon's Deli location still open on the west side of town. :0) Highly recommend the Wild Turkey Jack sandwich!!! These people were extremely rude, asserted that they had 2 people triple check the order and there were NO MISTAKES. That i had to call grubhub to get it fixed. I did, and grubhub took care of me, issuing a refund IMMEDIATELY. My complaint isn't with grubhub or the food, both were top quality. My complaint is with the absolutely unacceptable attitude I had to deal with when I called to let them know a whole ass sandwich and soup were missing not just from the order, but with the accompanying handwritten ticket. They didn't even want to listen to me: I just wanted to let them know, i fully understand grubhub owned the order, but the restaurant staff clearly missed something and refused to acknowledge it in the most disrespectful way imaginable. 0 stars for service, 5 for the food. read more

So we had to stop at this place. This is because my buddy would not shut his trap about it. He kept raving about it and I heard about this deli for three days. We even went to the closed location because it was close to where we were working and you could see his face drop when it was no longer there. So to start, walking in, the line was long. When I got to the front of the line, I already knew what I wanted so ordering was fast. After receiving my drink, I barely sat down and they called my name for pick up. I thought they were out of something and gonna ask me to pick something else because there is no way that they could pump my order out fast enough. Sure as all get out, my order was ready. What I wasn't ready for is how big that my sandwich was gonna be. It was huge. The bread was toasty but soft and tasty. I got a recommendation for some chicken with avocado and French dressing. It was great. I don't think that I tasted it. It went down fast. If i could have changed one thing, it would be to put on a little less sprouts because I had a farm on that piece of bread. I also ordered a pickle. Who goes to a deli and doesn't get a pickle. It was tasty and had a great snap to it. All in all, I can see why my buddy wouldn't shut up about it. I got the potato bacon soup with a bread bowl and my bread bowl had hair BAKED in the bread. As I was ripping apart my bread bowl long pieces of red hair was coming out with it. I called the store and all he said was it happened sometimes when we make our bread fresh. I said you should wear hair nets and he told me that it could be flying around in the air and gets in the bread. Never offered me a refund only took my name and told me to come and get a new one. My husband and I ordered from Cinnamons Deli thru UberEats. All we ordered was to whole sandwiches and two bowls of soup and one whole pickle (which we NEVER got). When the order arrived, it was all messed up. Hubby ordered corned beef and got a roast beef and cheddar. Soup was wrong, potato bacon instead of broccoli cheddar. I called them and the girl was apologetic and nice. In their defense, it sounded busy. I had to call UberEats and get them to credit my account and reorder the food which was just ok. We have been going to this cinnamon's deli, For as long as I can remember. And that's since they opened they have always been good. Up until today. They have cut back on their product their sandwiches literally are not any good anymore. And by that I mean they give you half the meat they used to give you. The Baked beans have a burnt taste to them. The pepperjack sandwich that is supposed to come with jalapenos had no jalapenos. So as for me and my Husband. We will not be going back to this location. Not only was the food not up to par as it used to be. But the service at the front counter wasn't great.. I think they could be a little friendlier. Because when you work in customer service you should be a little friendlier. But I guess that's today's society no need.. And one more thing that really bothered me the baskets they served the food in was wet you're not only got your hands wet but the table got wet You set Once you set them down.. And another thing the ceiling in the restaurant really needs some attention.. Whatever you do don't look up at the ceiling. Sooo. When you go to a place and thy tell you a very specific time of a 12 minute wait on a soup, you assume they know what they are talking about. When we checked after 20 minutes, we were told it still wasn't ready. At 30 minutes, I heard the cashier tell someone it would be 10 minutes. So needless to say, I asked for a refund for just the soup. I ate the sandwich while I waited. I was told it was MY FAULT for believing what they said. They can't control their kitchen. Horrible experience today me and my mom have been eating here for over 7 years we order the Turkey Bacon club for how thick their homemade bread is they put "enough" mayonnaise that it was soggy and wet the sandwich fell apart it was just unacceptable so I'll be sharing bad review via yelp and fb If you don't want to have only your food ruined but lunch time to I prefer elsewhere. After driving by this tons of times we finally decided to give it a try. The food was really good, but I agree with most: it was too expensive. Part of the problem I think, is the bread. I wanted soup but not the bread bowl. They do not have a lower price if you opt not to have the bread. We ended up throwing away two huge bread bowls. As I threw them away I noticed that there were many more in the garbage. The waste was heartbreaking. I wish they could be given to the birds or something. But I digress, perhaps if they offered to sell them in regular bowls they could charge less and there wouldn't be the waste. It's not to say that the food isn't good, but I take these other factors (taste, portion size and price) into consideration when I choose a place to eat. read more

I've been going to Cinnamon's for many years and one thing you can say about them is their food is always consistent. Everything is rich and filling so it's very easy to overdo it and get too much. A half sandwich and a cup of soup are just about enough to send you into a carbohydrate coma. The bread is sliced about an inch thick and the sandwiches are grilled so you get a nice crunch on the outside while the bread stays soft on the inside. One complaint, they can get a little liberal with the dressing so if you order a sandwich with a strongly-flavored dressing like honey mustard it can sometimes overwhelm the sandwich. Every soup I've tried has been great but some of their salads aren't my favorites. The prices are a little high so go thinking you'll spend about what you would at a sit down restaurant instead of a sandwich shop. The dining room is nicely decorated and the staff is friendly. I always tell myself I'll save room for one of their dessert selections but I never do. read more
