Normally that would have disappointed me, but this turned out to be some of the best BBQ chicken I've had from any Indian restaurant or food truck. First of all, it was made fresh to order. The seasoning on this chicken was carefully crafted by the chef to let each spice stand out without overpowering the others. It was genuinely outstanding, great actually. In fact, it was so good that I came back on another day just to order it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. It was just as good the second time. 5/5 stars just differently amazing. My wife wants to come back, and honestly I was pretty against the idea after the first visit. Still, based on that BBQ chicken alone, I'm willing to give them another full try. If the rest of the menu improves on a second visit, I may come back and update this review with a higher score. Overall: 3/5 stars. There were simply too many lower variables during this visit for me to rate it any higher this time around.

Big big pieces of chicken in the curry, more than enough to fill me up. It was really oily which I know chicken curry has oil but it was more than I'm used to and I wish it had a little more spice. -Garlic Chili Naan 10/10 fantastic. Just so packed with flavor and perfectly cooked, not much more to say. Overall it was a good experience and I'd definitely come back to try some more menu options. They need to do a little menu updating it seems but that doesn't take away from great food that I got all for under $20.

There's big fans and misters on when it's hot, which is a lot of the time here in Bakersfield. A big shady seating area is nice too. If you're into Indian food, you'll be happy here. Everything is so flavorful, the rice, which is Basmati, of course, is perfectly cooked, and the portions are good. We've had the chicken tikka, the paneer tikka, and, of course, the goat curry.
