Easy peasy Me & the bro started coming here bc they're in the airline dining programs where we get bonus points. Bottom line it's nice girls, cheap cold beers & save some money on the daily specials. One day it's discount hot dogs & I get the chili dog. Always been great. They're good dogs that one and the stadium dog which is bertmans & chopped onion. 3 or 4 bucks I can't remember. Another day is cheap tacos & they're pretty big. Chicken or beef 3 for deal. Another day is discount, maybe half off burgers. I've had the bleu burg before and it was good. Another day is the wing special. The dry rubs are good. We get outta there a few beers and the special for a good price. The place is clean and usually half full of regulars. I'm friendly now with the bartenders and they're cool. Great girls. I've read the reviews about problems at night and some food, I've eaten plenty lunches there and it's all been very healthy. A bit slow on a Sunday but free pinball every Sunday! (I love old school games). A great way to watch games and entertain the group of friends or the kids while eating and drinking a little. This is a sports bar with pool tables and an outside patio. More importantly, lotsa TVs. We were visiting over Labor Day weekend wanting to watch the OSU - Akron football game. The menu was large and the food ok. We had cheese curds. Those were a 3/5. Over cooked and too large. Not impressed. My son ordered garlic bread with cheese. He didn't like it and passed it to his dad. Served in a toasted sub bun, it was soft and chewy with a LOT of cheese. Kid didn't like it but Dad did. I ordered a stadium dog. Served with diced onions and stadium mustard on a soft bun, it was delicious! Hubs ordered a burger. It was average but fine. It was a thick patty, green leaf lettuce, cheese, tomato, onion, pickle and a large possibly brioche bun. It was served with fresh cut fries. Those were excellent. Disclaimer - we had just returned from a turbulent fishing charter where my husband lost his lunch so he was eating very cautiously. I had a side salad. Very generous with cheese, tomato, and onion. It was fresh and good. I ordered the Ranch dressing and did not like it. Our friends ordered a chicken quesadilla, fried pickle chips and cheesy flat bread. The pickle chips serving was generous- they couldn't finish it. The flat bread was OK but also not finished. The quesadilla was good but not toasted well. This place is a mess and management is to blame. Rude people employed her who have no clue how to treat customers and deliver service. Service is pathetic. This place has been going down hill for the last year or more. Tried to patronize, but we are through. Service is secondary to talking to friends and texting. We wont be back. Why? Fly in the salad, found after it was half eaten- gross. She took it off the bill, threw the bill at us and never once apologized for the bug. Regulars for years - NO MORE. Came here with family from out of state and they refused to serve us drinks. Did not even bat an eye at the ids and turned us down (all fully of age). DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. The worst place to enjoy your time in Avon Lake. The service was abysmal. The servers were mean and rude, not a friendly atmosphere. We had friends who were from out of state (fully of age) but were denied service because of where they were from. The restaurant needs a scanner for such situations. Just because you got in trouble for serving underage teenagers doesn't mean that you should deny business from out of state customers. I bought 2 beers on tap and when we were asked to leave, I tried to finish the second beer that I PAID for and they TOOK IT FROM MY HANDS. When we tried to refute, they called the cops and told us that is was their company rule. The very rude bartender asked if there was a problem. We said yes, you took our beers we paid for. They told us again that we had to go because we were with our (fully of age) friends who were from another state. I find it hard to believe that a company rule doesn't allow a paying customer to finish a drink they paid for. The staff that worked on the night of December 30th, 2023 should be reprimanded for their actions. This group of workers should be ashamed for causing a scene in front of other customers, denying business, and being rude to customers trying to have a good time with friends. Great place to stop in and watch a game. Beer list was pretty extensive for a local bar, service was fine, but if you are looking for a great local place to watch a game definitely give this place a shot. The crowd was more than excited which really added to the atmosphere. read more

The food at game on is very good the burgers are very good the fries are to die for everything here is very very good i would for sure come here. For the service, unbelievably good the bar tenders are very good especially Kate, Kennedy and Taylor are very nice very respectful and very good at doing their job. But for ambiance, the store is very cool and good looking they always have the Ohio games on especially the Browns and Cavaliers. All in all perfect place to go for food read more

Hot dogs are good. Service is pretty slow. Waited several mins for someone to come to the table. Waited 10 more for our 2 beers to come. Servers were too busy socializing than serving customers. Decided to go elsewhere for dinner so we asked for the check. Waited for 10 more minutes and had to walk up and demand my check or we will walk out. Totally ridiculous! read more

The staff seemed friendly, and the place was clean with an upbeat social atmosphere. We were hoping the non-fried food might offer more than the standard pub grub description, but it wasn't the case. Our appetizer platter was actually really good, so our hopes were lifted, but then all four of the sandwiches had issues (ie...one burger had an egg on it that wasn't supposed to be there, another came without cheese, etc...). Two of the items we tried to order weren't available. We felt bad for our waitress. There were two young girls running around waiting on 30 people at 7 or 8 tables, and then two older bartenders just standing around behind the bar with only six customers. I ordered three chicken Phillys price came to 44.00 for this price you better believe I'm writing about how piss poor this establishment is. What I received for my money was 3 BEEF Phillys that were scantly made and what looked like to be a half order of fries on each meal. I attempted to call this raggedy establishment and let them know their mistake and that I was on my way back for a refund and was left on hold forever and eventually hung up on. I liked the one in Lorain better. This one is closer and I really wanted to like this one and was honestly excited they where opening this one it's a much better location for me. I will give it another chance. Maybe they are just having trouble with getting a good staff. Ever place seemed to be. It seems like a few people are working and ever one else is just standing around. Running off customers playing that doesn't seem like the customer sitting around the bar saw a lot of people come in and just leave as soon as they finished their drink I've been there twice there's one girl that was there both times the only thing I ever saw do is 1 time put a 6-pack of Selzer in the cooler other than that she's just standing around talking to her coworkers not smiling Some guy at the bar started talking to her and she just looked at him and walked away while he was still talking.
