The bar area is cool The bartenders are polite and efficient and monitor if you need any thing. 4-6 have bar specials and nice spot to pass the time with appetizers and a drink. As a previous reviewer stated, it's about perspective. This is a bar/restaurant in an arcade. Overall I thought the meal was good. This place is worth a repeat trip. I got the Philly cheese steak spring rolls as an appetizer. It was ok, a bit too greasy for my taste but edible. My entree was a chicken, avocado sandwich with lettuce, tomato (bacon on the side) and as per the waitress recommendation, honey mustard sauce. It was pretty good and fresh. Love having avocados in my sandwich and it paired nicely with the honey mustard sauce. Worth trying this sandwich. The side dish I requested in lieu of fries was a garden salad. The salad had peppers , tomatoes , cucumbers , lettuce in it. It was so fresh and crisp, it was absolutely delicious! It was such a pleasant surprise from this restaurant. While a lot of people don't order the salads here, I totally recommend to try one! You can add a protein to it to make it hearty. The waitress was super nice and friendly. She previously tried a lot of dishes on the menu so she was able to make recommendations right away. The place is loud though due to being inside an arcade so not the place to go if you want some quiet time. After seeing a concert we got hungry and tried to find somewhere to eat, but it being a Saturday night and not making reservations ahead of time, we were left wandering looking for food. Lol. Well, we wandered far enough near the Winter Garage and found this gem! Let me tell you how it went. Atmosphere/Appearance: So imagine a small Dave & Buster's, then add a bowling alley, but inside the casino. That's basically what this place is. I like it. It's a bit dark in here, but the atmosphere is lively and fun! Service: Valery took excellent care of us. Shew as fast, fun and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Food: This place has excellent bar food. I mean, let's be honest. It's bar food. Lol. It's a giant sports bar/arcade and it actually produces some really good meals! While there I was able to try the Steak Bomb flatbread which is a thin-crust flatbread topped with shaved steak, grilled onions, roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers and pepper-jack cheese. It was DELICIOUS. Oh my goodness. It was decently filling and hot. I'd absolutely get it again. Value: My flatbread was $17.00, but it had steak on it! Lol, so it would've been a bit more pricey compared to a flatbread with some sort of peasant meat on it... you know such as pepperoni or sausage. Lol. Tried to go in at 4 today as per the posted hours. Escalator was closed and no lights on. Waited 15 minutes, nothing. Checked back at 430, nothing. Checked at 445 and there were two new signs saying that they would be closed all day for a private event (but still not open). They clearly knew yesterday that they were going to be closed for a private event as it was for the organized convention. No self-respecting business blows off customers that badly. read more

The service is awful. The bowling lane we were using kept breaking down so it literally cut into our play time by 15-20 minutes of our hour. We asked if we could be given an extra 10-15 minutes to make up for it and they begrudgingly offered 5 minutes. But even so, the game kept glitching by one turn. It was just a mess and really bummed out the kids. I really try to be positive but this place was really awful. No one is happy (except for our cocktail waitress - she was very sweet.) We got cheese flatbreads for the kids and they were good for what they were. There is a full bar but no Bloody Mary mix... which was annoying but not the end of the world. They didn't have any prizes so there wasn't really a point in trying to get tickets. They had a bowling alley too and a karaoke area so it would probably be fun to do that too but I wouldn't come just for the arcade (which is what we did). read more

I was honestly surprised by how good the food was here. I assumed it was going to be subpar bar food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries which was so good! The chicken was moist and sweet potatoes were fried perfectly! Also our waitress, Karissa, was fabulous! read more

The concept of this place is so fun, but that's kind of where it ends. The service was ridiculously slow- easily 3x slower than you'd expect for the amount of patrons and staff, and that was for "easy" menu items. I would like to go again... but probably not. read more

My bf and I went to Game On to celebrate my birthday recently. One side of the establishment is the bar/restaurant and the other is where the pool tables, bowling lanes and games are. We were promptly seated at a high top table for dinner as it was not that busy. We decided to spilt a few appetizers including the giant pretzel, the bacon chicken ranch sliders, steak and cheese egg rolls and the nachos. All of the appetizers we had, with the exception of the nachos, were very good. The majority of the chips for the nachos had nothing on them, not even cheese. The chili, pico de gallo and sour cream were in a small pile in the center of the chips. They would have been better if everything was spread out over the entire tray of nachos. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly, she even brought my bf a sample of a new beer they had. The game area was slightly disappointing. We were expecting more options for arcade games. Thankfully it wasn't very crowded while we were there so most games we were able to play without having to wait. However, I can't imagine how long the wait is when it's crowded. We didn't bowl due to the price but most lanes were full. Overall, it was a fun experience for something different. If we go back, it would be with a group of friends for food, drinks and bowling. read more

After my concert, I decided to stop in at Game On for some late night bar food before heading home. My ID was checked before heading down the escalator and no outside food or beverages are allowed in. Once again inside Game On, the place is loud and the lighting is very dim and offers full service dining to the left in the bar area, glow bowling and video arcade games to the right. I was seated by the hostess at a high top table in the bar and given a plastic menu which is simplified offering appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, flatbreads, steak, ribs, chicken, mahi, and large shakes. The prices at Game On are on the higher side for pub fare compared to Arooga's since it's at a casino. For an appetizer, I ordered the Parmesan Crusted Cauliflower ($10), which had several big cauliflower pieces, lightly deep fried (a bit greasy) covered with parmesan cheese and served with a creamy Sriracha dipping sauce. Next, the Braised Short Rib Melt ($15) served with fries and dill pickle spear came out. The thick sandwich was layered with thinly sliced grilled rib meat, whiskey onions, Swiss and American cheeses between grilled buttered Texas toast. I enjoyed this sandwich, which was similar to eating a Philly cheese steak sandwich. The golden fries were firm and salted. Overall, the food I had was the tasty greasy pub fare I expected. Came here with the kids on a Saturday night. I thought the place would be bigger to be honest. Pictures on the website seems like it was loaded with arcades, games, and more but it was much lesser than what I expected. I really think that my kids would've had the same amount of fun at Chuck E. Cheese's for half the price and mind you I have grown kids. Any who, the food was good though at least I can say that. For the limited menu due to covid and mostly everything on the menu had cheese, I can say that the kids and I really enjoyed it. We were looking forward to eating here but had a very poor experience. Poor customer service and communication by the staff. Checked-in to give our name (party of 2) at 12:29 and was told 30 min wait. No problem, but as people started coming up after us they were told 20 min or so. At 1:32p, I received a phone call stating our table was ready. The hostess seemed very frazzled and disorganized. It looked as if a manager was working as well but no one was greeting customers as they approached the waiting area. Went in around 6pm for dinner and to play some games with my wife, sat at a table then after an hour of waiting we ended up ordering food and drinks from the bar because a waitress never came over to take our order yet a waitress came over to say our table was to close to another table. Our waitress was attentive, but damn- for a 12 dollar drink, you would think that toy could actually taste the alcohol. Our drinks, everyone one of our group of 9 was super weak. As basic as basic bar food can be, if you like the gaming environment and want to yell to have a conversation. Half restaurant and half gaming center, with all seating being high chair/table seating yet bench styled. A bit uncomfortable really. The wings were "ok"- the garlic Parmesan lacked flavor to the point we had to salt them. The Buffalo ones were tasty, but soggy- no crispness at all, but again- good flavor. My French dip was "ok" but not the meat as advertised- more like a "Steak-um" and served in a football shaped roll impossible to contain it to lift and dip into the au jus. It was tasty- but nothing spectacular. The burger was much better, loaded with all you could want. Would re-order that one item- but highly doubt I'll be back because the environmental noise, and lack of attention from wait staff made it difficult to enjoy the meal. Didn't try the gaming or bowling, so review is solely for dinner service. Hard to find, but fun spot at the casino. We were seated quickly and greeted even quicker after being seated. Our server offered waters while we browsed the menu. Ordered the pull apart artichoke cheese bread app, rib entree and the rueben sandwich. The app was delicious and served piping hot. Large enough for 4 people. Ribs and sides were served hot and while the ribs were tasty, there wasn't much meat on the bones. The rueben sandwich was plentiful and tasty. Asked for tortilla chips in lieu of the fries. Our server remained attentive and personable during our visit. I also ordered the mango mojito, it was tasty, but couldn't taste any alcohol. The atmosphere was okay. Dimly lit, sports on the large screen televisions. Even though the casino was bustling with people, this place was nearly empty. Needs better signage and advertising. Pros: 1) After her initial lack of caring, our waitress was attentive and completely redeemed her tip. 2) The shakes were unique/delicious. Cons: 1) Location in the casino is difficult to find with minimal signage. 2) While generally the food was good, it is overpriced for bar fare (bill was $88 without tip for 2 people). 3. Lack of attention to detail or quality control for food. 4. Bar staff would rather watch the games on TV than assist customers. In depth experience: My wife saw an advertisement as we were walking into the casino so we decided to give it a shot. The location within the casino is very confusing to get to as there isn't a lot of signage. We finally resorted to Google maps to figure out where it was after walking around aimlessly because the maps in the casino were of little assistance. Once we finally located it, we went down the escalator/stairs to the main area. The bowling and arcade is to the right, with seating and the bar area to the left. There were 3 staff members in the front "reception" area at the bottom of the escalators. We were greeted immediately by a gentleman who asked if we were there for gaming, would like to sit at the bar, or be seated. After requesting a table, he grabbed a couple of menus and went to hand it to one of the waitress who was leaning against the counter behind him. She looked at him, smiled, made no effort to move and he finally said "Well, I guess I'll seat you then, this will be your waitress though." Not a great first impression for someone who is expecting us to tip for her service. We should have walked out then, but since it took us so long to find, we stayed. After returning with our drink order of a mixed drink and a water, she returned to take our food order. Our order consisted of: Jumbo Pretzel ($10) and Toasted Garlic & Parmesan Wings ($12) as an appetizer, Steak & Cheese Eggrolls ($12), Steak Bomb Flatbread ($14), S'mores shake ($14), Banana 7/10 Spit shake ($14) for the main meal, oh and an additional glass of water. The bar / dining area atmosphere consists of high top seating, and multiple flat screen TVs showing a variety of sports games. The lighting is dimly lit with the bar accentuated by glowing LED lights. The majority of the lighting is gained from the brightness of the TV screens. There was at least one patron at the bar who was WAY too into the game and started shouting and yelling at the TV that his game was on. No efforts were made to quiet him as the staff behind the bar was talking to each other and watching the TVs behind them. Eventually, he left and we chalked it up to "meh....it's a sports bar, it's gonna happen". We also noticed that multiple people sitting at the bar had empty glasses and were trying to get any of the bartenders attention for a refill. It wasn't busy and there were maybe 8-10 people at the bar. Our food arrived all at the same time instead of parsed out as an appetizer and meal which left little room on the table. The portions were adequate size and everything was warm. I noticed that the flatbread was soft, almost soggy or doughy, and there was no steak on it (It was a STEAK BOMB flatbread after all). I tried a piece thinking that maybe it was cooked into the dough or under the enormous amount of cheese but found none. After searching the remaining flatbread I flagged down the waitress. She apologized and brought it back to the kitchen. She returned a few moments later and said that they "Forgot to put the steak on" and would be making me a new one but that it would take a little bit. We finished the rest of our food which was cooked properly and tasted good. The shakes were definitely the highlight of the meal. Whimsical, colorful, and delicious. As we were 95% finished with our meal, we debated taking the flatbread to go or canceling it all together. The waitress finally returned with it and I was able to immediately identify STEAK! The flatbread was properly cooked and crispy. After trying 2 pieces, I wasn't really feeling it. My wife tried it and thought something was "off". We ended up leaving it. We never did get our second water :-( We did not go into the gaming or bowling area so that review will have to be left for someone else. read more

Very disappointed. Been wanting to go for a while now. We finally went for a friend's birthday. The bowling pins are on STRINGS like a marionette puppet. The front desk was very nice however, after the waitress took our order she never came back. So sorry this is a bash but I am still in shock....3 of us (2 adults and teen) walked in to a very slow Game on at 1 pm for NFL Sunday Ticket/Lunch/games/etc....asked for a table with good TV locale (meaning middle and see as many as possible)....was seated at far end when there was ample space and options in the middle....asked if could move down a few tables and was told that not available due to "rotation" of seating.....I get it having worked in industry (and other adult still does)....but this was pathetic....asked again and was told no other options and that could speak to manager (which was obvious going to be a waste of time),,,...was then told could sit anywhere at bar but since we had a teen we couldn't.....There was some high tops with 2 chairs in "better viewing area" and asked if could use one of those.....was TOLD YES....BUT...when sat down and grabbed an extra/unused stool and sat down was told MANAGER SAID NO......there was no one there except maybe 2 people at bar and a table of 5 or so......,,so left and had an amazing lunch and Football Sunday at Longshots 8 minutes away.....must be nice to be able to turn away business on a quiet Sunday afternoon when you clearly had more employees than customers....will never try again.... read more

We planned an entire trip around visiting Game On, (not big gamblers but needed a getaway) including a $200 hotel room stay, only to find out when we arrived that they were closing at 8pm instead of the hours posted on the door AND website that said 9:30. Great new venue at Mohegan Sun! Love that the location is so close, we had a blast. A little family competition on the bowling alley, then over to the arcade where they had everything from Pinball machines to Mario Cart. Coney Island dog was delicious. Managers, Hostess, Waitress and Bartenders were not only friendly but gave beyond 5 star service to us. Came here on a Friday night for drinks. We did not eat or play any games. One of biggest bars I have ever seen. Not surprising because this is a huge space located in the bowels of Mohegan. The only way we found it was by asking an employee. Easiest way to explain the location is to go up the escalator by Frank Pepe's. Go to the end of the hall and you will see it on your left. There is almost no signage at all. You will have to go down another escalator to actually be in Game On. This is also where the hallway from the newer hotel tower is located. Overall drinks and service at the bar were fine, a little pricey. The space is very dark with huge TVs above the bar. The Friday night we were there the place was empty. Plenty of open spots at the bar and most of the games were open. Next time we will try the food. read more
