So we get here on a Monday with a party of 10, first we have to wait until 7:30 when the league wraps up, ok no problem that's only about a 20 min wait.. 20 mins pass and the league is almost all done we are told it will just be a lil bit longer. So 30 mins pass and there's one 2 party's bowling but we are told that they are specifically waiting for lanes 9 and 10, but why? All of the other lanes are open. Meanwhile the people who arrived 15 minutes after us were already bowling... not even sure why she was stringing us along.. but all I can say is we were the only ones there with masks on and we were the only black people there... not jumping to conclusions but definitely made me say hmm... read more

Soooo, here's the thing. It's the ONLY bowling alley in town. (Unless you have access to the military base in town.) It is a pretty old bowling alley in need of updating and repairs. They do offer some great deals at times, But I recently went bowling up in Columbia at a different bowling alley and it was just as bust and their prices were even higher than gamecocks. I wish it was more polished and the lanes didn't break down as often, but I also know running the bowling alley is not cheap, repairs are not easy and are costly. I've been to this bowling alley many times, And usually run into some sort of issue with the lanes, but the staff has always been helpful with usually fixing the problem or will put me on a different lane. I love bowling so I want to support this local business so that we can continue to have a bowling alley in town! So yes, it's old, but I'm also thankful we are able to bowl in Sumter, Without having to drive to Columbia or Florence. So go with the expectation that you probably will run into some kind of lane issue, which often happens at any bowling alley, but also be thankful we actually have a bowling alley to go to you!! Great fun for the whoel family. Prices are a little steep but bowling normally is. You pay $3.75 per game per person and shoe rental is $2.75 or they have a family package for 2 hours unlimited games and shoe rental for $50. They also have cosmic bowling which is bowling in the dark with neon lights and music. A great time. The lanes are in decent shape for an old place. Most lanes have bumpers that can be put up for the little kids. There is a snack bar that has pretty good food. Drinks refills are not free that is the bad part. read more

This place is OK. It always stinks of smoke since they let people smoke inside of it. The food stand looks pretty questionable.

It was a horrible experience! My school age program went there on a fieldtrip and they left very disappointed that two of the lanes didn't work and when it was brought to the attention of the staff nothing was done about it. When the children wanted to order food from the bar the workers discouraged them. When the Teacher reported this to me I called to speak the supervisior which resulted to him talking over me and hanging up. I don't recommend this place!!!! read more
