Our process of creating our first model.

I walked in with my son to buy a birthday gift for his friend. Noah was super welcoming and helpful. My son and I each got to create and paint a model. Noah was so super helpful and patient showing us and guiding us throughout the entire process. I as a mom enjoyed this experience so much. It was a wonderful time with my son in a very nice and calm environment. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be returning to learn more.

2020 holiday celebration. Not even Nurgle's plague could stop us from celebrating.

This store is out of my way. That being said, this is the store I go to for gaming and purchasing. Fantastic community of wargamers and knowledgeable staff, Matt has been more then helpful with my hobbying needs and has been integral in my painting. The fellow hobbyists are friendly and welcoming and in store events are super fun. This store has earned my business and I eagerly await the time when we can all gather again to game.

Matt didn't hesitate to give me an alternative option of ordering online and having it shipped to the store.

L&C told me that they will pay 2 cents for almost all circulated Lincoln cents, regardless of their condition (nearly uncirculated, for example). Buy they are selling Lincoln pennies that are much worse for $75. That's quite a mark-up, to buy at 2 cents and sell the same penny (or worse) for $75. The price that they charge for coins is excessive. They refuse to show pennies that they have for sale. Much could be seen in person that cannot be seen from pictures on their website. They say that it would violate their security protocols to show coins, and they said that they are not a museum, so they won't show coins. I would suggest that you don't try to sell coins at L&C. I would suggest that you don't try to buy coins at L&C. They are greedy and don't make fair appraisals. This begs the question, why are they endorsed by NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company)? Surely this endorsement isn't deserved if they unfairly rate customer's coins and their own coins. Could that endorsement be based on knowledge? If so, the greed of L&C overpowered their sense of fairness. I think that L&C chose their "horse track" location to bilk coins out of down-on-their luck horse gamblers, who are forced to sell their coin collections and are too drunk to know when they are being low-balled. I have not tried other businesses, but I'm going to try their competitors instead. Perhaps: OC Rare Coins Southern California Coins Coin Corner American Coin Hallock Pawn (Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim). I would not suggest Lincoln Pawn, because they don't accept pennies (only silver), and pay 1/2 of the cost of silver content, and have rules against buying silver coins based on the value of the coin unless they are certified and graded. Currently, Ebay is the best place that I know of to buy and sell coins. Some websites claim that L&C coin has an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB). However, the BBB claims that they are not listed on their website, and therefore don't have a BBB rating.

I'm sorry that some of you had a bad experience, but ours was great, especially considering we arrived only 20 minutes before closing, when most business owners are ready to head home. Oh, and let me add that I'm Mexican and gay, so as far as being racist or discriminating goes... FAR FROM IT!! I did correct my Goddaughter for grabbing something from the display window--not okay! Plus, she's 12 and should know better, period. The owners were very kind in gently explaining why it wasn't okay, and I appreciated that because their house, their rules! Kids need to understand that when you walk into someone's place of business--or even their home--you should be respectful and ask for permission or assistance before touching things. Again, thank you both for all the great recommendations and for being so kind about my pup, who was on a leash and wearing a diaper to ensure there were zero accident possibilities. Our pup loved you guys! She's usually a little shy at first, but she walked right up to both of you. Dogs know. We'll definitely be back to check out some of the games you have when we have more time to browse. Like I said, we came right before closing, and even though it's a business, everyone wants to go home after work, and we respected that. No attitude, no pressure--just two kind business owners doing what they love.
