TOTAL CRIMINALS. I…read morewent to Game On to try and sell a PS3, 2 Wii's, Cords, controllers along with 23 PS3 games, 7 Wii games and some Atari stuff. The employee on duty was too busy to help, so he asked me to leave my stuff on the green counter along with my name and number. Before I left, I took pictures of everything that I left behind. Then came the COVID lockdown. I got a call from Game On offering me a hundred bucks for everything I said no thanks and that I'd pick everything up (ebay or craigslist... I could get a lot more than 100 bucks for this stuff). But, because of this virus stuff, it took awhile to get there. When I did get out there (weekends and after work) they were always closed. I had to drive out on my lunch break to catch someone actually working. When I did, some guy (manager or owner?) tells me (without even bothering to look) that they don't have my stuff and that he doesn't know me. I'm stunned and I explain everything and show him the pictures I took (which he tried to dispute until I point out they were taken on the painted green counter right in front of him), so, with a huge eyeroll he asks me to text him the pictures. I send them along with a complete inventory. Again, he gives me an offer of $100. Again, No thank you. So, today I caught up with this guy at the Academy store to get my stuff and he comes out of the back with a PS3 (no cords or controllers) a few games and my Atari stuff. His proposal? He'll give me $100 or I can have the stuff he didn't take. THIS GUY JUST STOLE 17 PS3 games from me!!! They STOLE 2 Wiis from me. He has the audacity to claim that it's MY fault that HIS company absorbed my property. And he's all like "What do you expect me to do?" AS HE IS STANDING IN A STORE SURROUNDED BY GAMES (some of which doubtlessly were ones he STOLE from me). I mean, these games didn't evaporate; he sells games after all, so when a game goes missing in a game store's inventory it's usually because it has been SOLD. Then he starts to make this argument that if you leave things in his store too long somehow it becomes his property. The TL;DR is that these people are THIEVES. We all know that when you go into a used game store, they buy low and sell high. I get that. I even respect it from a capitalist point of view. What I don't respect is when a business just takes property that is not theirs and then shrugs and says "how is that my problem?". Then, on top of it, he's trying to insinuate that this was some kind of Oceans 11 level plot to rip him off!!! THIEVES. I hope they go out of business. STAY AWAY!!!

The game collection is outstanding; there's lots of retro games and consoles, and also new games and accessories for the lowest prices around. This place is the best. GameForce clearly understands the collectible market when it comes to retro video games. Pricing reflects condition, rarity, and demand in a way that aligns with how secondary markets function, and I don't have an issue with that. That approach makes sense for collectible inventory. However, the handling of Pokémon products feels fundamentally inconsistent with that same logic. In my experience, factory shrink wrap is removed prior to sale. While the contents inside may still be untouched, sealed condition is a major factor in both collector value and authenticity for these types of products. From a collector standpoint, sealed packaging is not just packaging--it is part of the product's condition and long-term value. Once that seal is removed, the item is no longer in a verifiable factory-sealed state, which changes how it is viewed in the secondary market. What makes this more noticeable is the contrast: the store clearly participates in condition-based pricing and scarcity-driven value in one category, while actively altering condition in another. Even if the intention is to discourage scalping or bulk buying, the effect is still a reduction in collectible integrity from a collector's perspective.
