I used to collect sports cards growing up and had a Pokémon collection as a kid too, which I sadly sold at a garage sale before I knew any better. As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by the owner and his wife. Even with the holiday weekend keeping them busy they were super welcoming and took time to walk us through the store, explain how they price things, and answer our questions. First time shoppers also get a cool Pokémon pin which my son loved, and he picked one out for his sister too. Make sure to signup for their newsletter as they have a nice little $5 promotion too! Great selection if you're into Pokémon--from packs to slabs to singles. They also had a solid variety of video games and consoles from vintage to newer stuff. I had fun digging through the sports card boxes too, just wish there were a few more to look through. Best part was my son had such a fun experience. They're really helpful. They have a few long boxes set up in the front with 1 dollar comics and 5 dollar graphic novels in the front of the store. Singles are kept in the 1$ long boxes which include a lot Marvel, Image, Valiant, Ultraverse comics from the 90s, you'll also find some DC and vertigo titles as well. Sifting through these boxes gave me flashbacks of when I was a comic collector in the 90s. Towards the back left and back wall of the store, you'll find shelves of graphic novels, omnibus, and other collected editions. Back issues are set up on a large table in the back. You can find a mixed selection of different titles from Silver age to modern. I found surprising inventory of certain title runs. I have a bit more exploring to do in this store. Crush carries good comic storage stuff - boxes, bags and boards (BCW brand) on the right side of the store.

Small Update - Redbox has become more expensive to rent movies. I kept a movie for 5 days and was…read morecharged over $8. This was after the free 1 night rental was applied to my balance. I've just discovered that Netflix DVD Service has the same new releases as Redbox an you don't pay daily fees to keep movies. I subscribed to that and my movie arrived fairly quick after subscribing to it. And its $10 per month for 1 DVD out at a time because sometimes I can't watch a movie right away but lets me do it on my schedule. If you have the time to watch a movie and bring it back the next day great! If not go to an alternative service or even check your local library as they often have the new releases but you wait a long time to be able to check them out due to their popularity.

As soon as Redbox went dark any content you downloaded from your Internet account was gone, as what you really had was a license to play the titles, not outright ownership. If you end a relationship with a music or entertainment content provider be it Spotify, Spectrum or Comcast, what you think is yours goes Poof! My approach has always been to own physical media outright believing that even if my CDs and DVDs are technically a license, chances are that a Universal Studios or Warner Brothers Music SWAT team is not invading my home to retrieve my ancient copy of Forest Gump or The Best of Warren Zevon. The games were durable and held up for the event. Even though we were stalled on booking our games (due to the Venue needed to help with the layout), Luiza was still openly optimistic about helping us and in the end we got all the games we wanted. We opted for Ring Toss, Giant Checkers and Clowning Around (Bean Bag Target type of game - see photo). Except for the Giant Checkers, the prices are fairly reasonable. Please note that someone else may think that the price was reasonable...it's all subjective. Here's What I Think.... They have a ton of games from which to choose. If you're in the market for arcade/carnival type games, please give them a try.

While we do serve the Washington, Oregon, and Nevada areas, please note that due to the extended travel distance, our minimum one-day rental for events in Washington is $18,500 plus delivery."
