I went in to cancel my pre order for a refund. "Anna" decided to make her own return policies and not follow gamestops policies. She falsified information to me three times. The first was she lied about being a "manager" and the second falsified information was that I'm not allowed to get a refund without the original payment method. GameStops policy is that I need to show my id, original form of payment OR REPLACEMENT. It states that on the website. I asked her 5x to try and process my refund with a different card. The third falsified information was that she denied to even try and process my card because "Anna" said it wouldn't work. I had to call another GameStop and talk to their manager about this stores return policy. He told me they wasn't supposed to do that. He went ahead and called them to remind them. I went back and the real manager was there, Michael. He was amazing. He was able to process my refund. Anna lied to caused me to miss my appointment. She was the worst employee I ever dealt with at a GameStop. If you go here, don't deal with "Anna" she likes to make up her own rules. read more

This review is about two stores- this one and in Henderson. Originally went to the Henderson store and asked for animal crossing- the gentleman there said that the blue diamond store had it. He said he would call to place a hold because they weren't answering. What kind of customer service is that?! I even said that Henderson was trying to calI but they weren't answering and informed me he would call back. I purchased a controller for my son as a birthday present. BRAND NEW Xbox controller. Unfortunately they didn't have it at the store but the lady at that time nicely recommended that she can order it online for free shipping. So I agreed to it and she said it will Take 7-9 business days for it to be delivered. No problem. 9,12,14 days later I still didn't get the item I purchased. 15 days later, I got the controller. And it was USED! I called this location and I spoke to that lady (forgot her name) that I got the wrong item and I needed to exchange it for a brand new one like what I originally ordered. She said to bring it in and so I did. To make the long story short, I finally had a chance to go back to the store hoping that they will give me the BRAND NEW controller that I originally purchased. But the "store manager" (because he kept saying that) SCOTT was NOT very helpful at all. He kept telling me he will give me my money back for the used one I purchased and paid for!!!! IT IS NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR!!!! It was a gift for my son and I never really buy anything USED when it comes to stuff like that for many reasons. I don't care about the money. I waited long enough for the stuff to come in the mail and on top of that I didn't even get the right one! This location is pretty large! The first time I had to go by here was for my first online pick-up order and the process was extremely quick and easy. Since it was the holidays, there was a bit of a line but the two cashiers were working as efficiently as possible (while still being friendly) to get people taken care of and help the next people. I was asked if I needed assistance while I was in line and politely declined, then ended up in a fun Dragon Ball Z conversation as I was purchasing a scouter for a friend's Christmas gift. I've never experienced worse management in my whole life I called to get the modern warfare beta code from my pre-order and Ashley (The Manager) answered the phone she then put me on hold which I was ok with but than the hold hit 20 minutes. Than 30 minutes. So while on the phone I drove down to the store, walked in to not one person in the store except the 2 workers I than asked to get my code and within 30 SECONDS she printed me a new one. I then asked for the manager which was of course her who then told me I should've "Hung up and tried again". All game stores seemed to have this weird odor that I haven't placed whether it comes from the type of packages games come in or the bodies of usual gamers. The odor was a little tamer in this store. I've been to other stores staffed by arrogant and rude people that would argue with me about my trade-ins not working even though they worked fine on my game systems and then flat out reject my games. So its refreshing to actually have nice staff that inform me of trade-in deals and make a good impression on me every time I enter their store! Upon entering the store, it noticed that everything is eye-catching although a bit crowded. When entering a retail store, one would be expect to be greeted. It took about 10 minutes for one of their associates to actually approach me. A little foreword, I do research on the product before i but so I know what Im looking for to a certain extent. After asking the employee about what the synopsis was of a title, the employee asked me what synopsis meant. After a quick explanation of the definition was, I asked another only to be asked what native resolution was. The staff there do not seem to be too knowledgeable about the products they are selling unless I were to ask about Madden, Call of Duty, and a number of mainstream games. I also came across manager who at first came across as decent guy but who later became cocky almost arrogant to the point I wanted to just leave. Eventually I found what I needed and simply told them this is all I am here to buy (and regrettably the cash for at the moment) instead, I was bombarded with promos and extras and subscription to their magazine I already had. After telling them no thanks, I was continually asked to buy more products that did not interest me nor did I have the money have, Upon leaving, there was no "thanks for coming or thanks a lot" Even though things were well organized and clean, I will not be returning to this branch due to the level of merchandise knowledge and the rudeness of all people, the store manager. If anything, I will be going to Rainbow and 215 branch or Eastern and Serene branch where I was much more comfortable and welcomed. read more

NEVER BUY REFURBISHED GAME CONSOLE HERE!! I bought a refurbish PS3 w/1control and system kept blinking. Went to same store on blue diamond a couple days later and they said they dont have the same system and I have to pay $40 more for a better one. I was a bit upset but I paid anyways. Then the system was fine but the control they gave along with it didn't function properly and kept scrolling down without touching anything. I'm so upset how they neglect to test all refurbished items before putting it on sale and just done care. Workers were not helpful at all and acted very annoyed. So unprofessional!! At first I was a little put off because we weren't greeted/acknowledged when we first entered, but once we got further into the store and were looking, the help had arrived. Julia was amazing. Seriously amazing. She answered all of our questions and then some. And by that I mean she gave us so much information that we didn't even know we needed but oh we did. We wanted it all but didn't know how to get there and what way was best. She wasn't bothered by us or made us feel like a nuisance with how much help we needed.
