I would probably shop here more if their prices were more in line with what I could purchase a used game for through online resources.

My wedding video was stuck in my PS4 and have been putting off getting my Playstation fixed and he said it could take a few days to fix it and get the disk out. Which I was fine with. So I brought it in expecting it to be fixed by the end of the week. When I got there he asked if I had a few minutes to kind of hang out Which I did and he fixed it and had my wedding video out within a half-hour I was so freaking happy I would absolutely go here again and I will always recommend this place to anyone who needs video games or consoles. I will be buying all of my video games and consoles from here from now on! THANK YOU VIDEO GAME WIZARDS! I GIVE THIS PLACE 10 THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I come to pick it up, they tell me it's on our desk next to be repaired, told me to come back in 3 days. I come back and they tell me the same exact thing. The prices are extremely fair, and as I've gotten to know the owners, I can say that they are great to work with and very kind people. They are engaging in person and have a really active social media presence on Facebook with constant updates on what new items they've picked up. If you have any interest in games, figures, collectibles, or any other nerdy hobbies, I'd urge you to go in and meet the lovely couple that run this shop. 10/10 in my book.

Great prices on used consoles and games alike, plus they have a huge selection of movies on vhs dvd and Blu-ray. They've got a lot of games from older 8 bit and 16 bit era systems as well as a big selection up to about the Wii/ps3 era. There are plenty of games from the latest systems but the amount of games for the Wii / ps3 era and before is incredibly large. The entire wall behind their counter is covered with super cool boxes from retro gaming systems and has a lot of personality. It's worth the visit just to see that wall by itself. Very cool place to visit even if you don't have something specific in mind to pickup.

That's roughly $25 per modern pack--for cards that aren't vintage, scarce, or anything remotely special. There's a difference between running a business and shamelessly exploiting hype, and this shop clearly knows exactly what it's doing. That's not "market pricing," that's blatant price gouging aimed at the people least likely to know better. Card shops are supposed to build community and help grow the hobby, especially for kids. Instead, this place feels more interested in squeezing every possible dollar out of excited young collectors and their parents. It's hard to call yourself a community shop when you're pricing families out of the hobby. If your business model depends on overcharging kids and parents who don't know better, that says everything people need to know. Even their video games are priced way more than even EBay prices.

From the start, interactions with the owner felt inconsistent. Listings described items as "mint" or "like new," but what I received didn't match those descriptions. When I reached out, the responses were vague and shifted depending on the question, which made it difficult to get a clear resolution. What stood out most was the lack of transparency. Basic questions about sourcing and condition grading were met with unclear answers, and at times the explanation seemed to change. As a buyer, that creates a level of uncertainty that's hard to ignore--especially in a market where condition and trust are everything. After this experience, I took a closer look at other feedback and noticed similar concerns about communication and consistency. Even if each case is different, the overlap is enough to raise caution. A business like this relies heavily on trust between the seller and the customer. Right now, based on how this was handled, that trust just isn't there for me. I'd recommend being very thorough--ask detailed questions, document everything, and don't rely solely on the listing descriptions.
