It actually reminds me of how the kid's store Justice used to work before they got rid of their sales and basically went out of business. The people who work here are extremely friendly and helpful. I like the store's updated look, it is very bright and vibrant. This is on our regular seasonal shopping list.

I always take my old clothes to Platos closet instead of the Salvation Army or just throwing them away, I'd rather be paid something for them as opposed to nothing, even though you're getting very small amounts for what you give them. It does have an old clothes/Salvation Army scent to it but it is a bunch of old clothes they're selling. They took everything I gave them, I stopped going to this location before because they were pretty selective about what they would take here, the Madison heights or other locations always took everything of mine when I went to them so I hadn't been to this location in a while. I wouldn't personally shop here, not really anything I would buy - especially for men but it appears to be a good store for some people. EDIT: I also wanted to mention the staff took only 15 minutes to sort through my stuff and pay me - all were helpful and nice.

I do love the attention but being on a tight budget and having a salesperson bring a wardrobes' worth of clothing to the dressing room when I specifically said I would not try on anything other than what I came in for is too high pressure for me. I wanted pants, black and was clear in saying I want to try on and purchase one pair of black pants for work. She brought me four different colors of pants, tops to go with each pair and high heeled dress shoes. Also the jewelry is far overpriced. It's costume jewelry, plastic or glass beads, nothing special. I found an identical necklace seen in their store for $50 at a little boutique store nearby for $10.
