    Watermelon wave

Service was horrible. Specifically, we ordered three drinks. While two drinks were decent the watermelon drink was overly syrupy and when we asked them to fix it, we were denied. The manager told us that if we had them remake the drink then they would charge us for it. I don't think I've ever been to a bar where they stood by such a poor drink and sacrificed the benefit of having additional drinks ordered and food ordered. Poor management and service. It's gone downhill since I remember it.

Ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, very crunchy and cheesy with a great marinara sauce. Also ordered the Patty melt sandwich with tater tots, this was a great sandwich the thousand island dressing made the sandwich with the grilled onions, will definitely be back.

Pretty cool spot. Plenty of seating inside and out and they had a live DJ. I ordered two drinks that were pretty good, it was a mule & something stripper. I got the hot crab dip, now that was really good! Ample amount of dip and the warm crisp pita bread was great! Definitely will be repeated.

Good bar for the games and also pool. The chicken dip is the best thing on the menu. Much seating and it's beside a hotel.

Ordered the Carolina ribs with coleslaw and cooper fries. Didn't eat the coleslaw "it was that bad" funky taste and I like coleslaw. So that sucked ..The ribs not the greatest. Well they were horrible and I wouldn't recommend . May have been a lil old . The fries were great . The best part of my order.

After leaving Spare Time, my friend and I decided to stop here. It was around 11:10pm on a Sunday evening. It wasn't busy at all. We sat ourselves. There were a couple open booths but they were dirty, whether that be the table or the ground underneath. We ended up sitting at a table. Our waitress was Myha, who actually introduced herself! Omg. Kudos to her!! This isn't something I've experienced in a while at a restaurant! We needed time and ordered drinks around 11:15pm. We each got a Jamaican shaker, which was tasty. At 11:28pm, we ordered Wilding Out Chicken as an app. It was a good sweet/spicy mix. I don't like spicy foods, but this was tolerable. Service this visit was very timely and Myha gave good customer service. Coopers close at midnight. Before we knew it, time had flew by and were the only ones there around 12:20amish. We became more aware of the time when we noticed a song playing on the juke box. It was essentially a closing song. We got the message and left lol. The bill had already been paid.

So I don't come to Coopers often but some of my friends really like it. The food is and I honestly feel like the drinks are overpriced. Saturday nights there is more of a crowd.

So late night in Greensboro this is the place to be for good music and good snacks. Drinks are OK (the bartender didn't make our drinks correctly). The bar service was not so great. But the waitress that helped us when we were ready to order food was great! Because of her this place gets 4 stars for me. They have pool tables & you can do karaoke (at least when we went. It was a Friday night) they also had a great DJ. Security is in front so please don't act a fool. There's also a nice outdoor seating area for when the weather is nice. We ordered Spinach dip and crab dip. Both were really really good! The spinach dip had a little kick to it so beware. The crab dip was my fave out of the two. Creamy and delicious. Especially the pita bread that came with it! MUST HAVE! I'll be back again on another drunken night in Greensboro lol.

Food was great and the server was really nice. Provided great suggestions. Late night meal but worth it.

The service isn't going to be in and out as this isn't a large place with lots of wait staff. Expect to be here at least an hour. They have Coors on draft (nostalgia for the Mr.) and tall boy PBRs. Not your thing? Don't let that deter you bc they are one of the few places I have seen who has Old Rasputin on DRAFT. Those not familiar, this is a Russian imperial stout by North Coast Brewery out of Ft Bragg, California. Something I haven't had since... well, I lived in California. Personally, one of my favorite stouts. Beer not your thing? They have an array of specialty contrails and some solid liquor choices including buffalo trace's limited purchase bourbon (eagle rare/ blantons). Food: the Brussels, sandwiches, and salads looked amazing (neighboring patting got those). We split a few things: Brisket: nit the best I have ever had, but solid choice. Maybe not for the $, but it was fall apart brisket. Wings: these are crispy fried with sauce on the side. A little hard but good. Not my favorite. The poutine was by far a favorite with the melty cheese and the gravy was delicious. We also had the street corn and with the lime was pretty good as well. These 4 things were plenty for the 2 of us with a little extra. We didn't mind paying the extra because of the experience. I did about die of heat, but I should have put a hair the in my bag and wore a skit or just not jeans. We will definitely be back.

That's the way it was for us and Taproom, a long time Greensboro pub on Battleground Avenue. The last time we stopped by was pre-pandemic. Prior to Covid we had been somewhat regulars, visiting every couple of months. As we walked in, it was as if we had entered a time machine. Nothing aesthetically had changed. That's a good thing because Taproom exuded the comfortable dark wood intimate setting that it is always enjoyed. We wanted a little bar food and a couple of adult beverages. At the suggestion of the bartender, we split a Caesar salad as well as a Black and Bleu black flatbread. The Caesar salad is a classic and was very satisfying. Can't say it is special, but it is simply delicious. The flatbread was a lot of fun. It comes with olive oil, caramelized, onion, crumbled bleu cheese, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. We added blackened fillet tips as our protein. My only complaint is I should've ordered two. The flatbread is incredibly satisfying and the beef tips were savory, tender, and flavorful. I went old-school on the drink. I had a 20 ounce Guinness, while my wife had a mule. Both were spot on and worked really well with the food we had. Everything was very affordable as well. Taproom is loud and feels neighborly. I reviewed it nine years ago and I'm changing nothing. I highly recommend a visit if you're looking for drinks and pub food in a classic environment.

We ordered the wings, Chicken Philly, and Classic Burger, and everything was enjoyable. The wings were impressive! The show started late and I still don't even know what the reason was. There was no communication. But that was then.
