Overall, the food is decent but the customer service is some of the worst I've experienced at Denver International Airport. Upon walking up, I asked what the difference is between a bowl and a salad. The employee just grabbed a bowl and asked what I wanted. I asked again what the difference is and he looked at me like I was dumb and asked again what I wanted in an irritated voice. Literally worst airport food place I've ever been to. First of all, I got a plate since I wanted a bigger portion than the meal and the filled only half the plate. I was so irritated when I checked out and could see the bottom of half of the plate. Secondly, they have THE WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I was being polite saying please and thank you and the workers were seriously mute. They didn't say a word except the cashier and the workers kept giving me mad dirty looks. As someone who works in a similar store I have never treated someone this way for no reason. The cashier was really nice but the other workers were losers and the food tastes like sh*t. After looking at other reviews I wish the management would actually get new employees because it seems like they're consistently rude. Things to take note of: The food is expensive, but you are at an airport. Pita bread doesn't come with your plate. You can pay extra if you want it. Okay just found my new favorite food spot at the Denver airport - a Mediterranean chipotle. I got the falafel bowl and love that you can customize to add all the toppings you could ever want. I topped mine with greens, cucumber, saffron rice, spicy hummus, feta, baba ghanoush, tzatziki, pickles (these are a must), cucumber, and some kind of vinaigrette. Clearly, I'm a sauce lover and endless sauce options was my dream scenario. This is in the B terminal main food hall (close to voodoo donuts too). Located in the main concourse of Terminal B in DIA, we ate here after seeing the incredibly long line at Chik-Fil-A and no line here. $22.31 for fries and a steak bowl. They were generous with steak and sauce but overall, the bowl is smaller than a Chipotle bowl. It was a snack for two people and I easily could've finished one by myself. With all the great options of restaurants to eat at in the United terminal at the Denver international airport, Garbanzo has to be my favorite! This is Mediterranean food that meets Chipotle. You just choose whether you want a gyro style sandwich on a pita bread, a pita pocket, a rice bowl or a salad. With all choices, they give you the option to add hummus, spicy hummus, and/or cous cous, then you select the protein (cgrilled chicken, steak, filafel or gyros) then you are allowed all the veggies like pickled onions and radish and cheese. I've had the pita pocket and the rice bowl now and I'm never needing any other food after I'm finished with them. When I say the portions are generous, that's definitely an understatement. One order can feed 2-3 people. They aren't shy to pack on the ingredients which puts these guys over the top. For the amount of food and quality of food you get, the prices are reasonable especially at the airport. Can't wait for my next layover in Denver! read more

Garbanzo is my go-to when I'm flying through DEN on a Sunday. Mostly because I will usually go to Chick fil-A if it isn't sunday, but sometimes the line is crazy long on a Mon-Sat or I'm just not feeling a chicken sandwich. In which case I will go right next door to Garbanzo. The food here is fairly affordable. I get the rice bowl and it's a pretty good size once it's topped with all the things. This is basically like a chipotle for mediterranean food. I love gyros and olives and pickles and veggies, so this is right up my alley. I wish they had places like this in Hawaii. Anyway. You choose if you want a bowl or a gyro or a salad and then you choose a protein. They ask you what toppings you want on it and then you pay at the register. I like the babaganoush, olives, pickles, and tomato with cucumbers. It's fast and pretty simple. It's also pretty saucy. The flavors are amazing and everything mixed together tastes great. The workers are helpful and nice enough. This is just a take out counter, so there isn't much in terms of ambiance. I don't even really eat in the food court area by Mcdonalds because there are now much nicer places to sit and eat and watch planes at the gates. I'm actually surprised. The food here is some the best "fast food" I've had at DIA. Line was 15 people deep, but it only took me about 10 minutes to obtain my food. If you see a long line, be aware it moves at a decent pace. The flavors of the plate were surprising complex - it seemed as if they actually used all fresh ingredients in the preparation of the food. It really seemed very fresh, organic -- as the name implies! The portions are incredibly generous - you won't be hungry after leaving the establishment.
