    Chicken Salad

I was looking for a healthier option at the airport and stumbled upon Garbanzo in the B gates near B38. Garbanzo is setup a bit like Chipotle where you have lots of ingredient, sauce, and topping options. I opted for a chicken salad (comes with chicken and greens) with seasoned (chipotle) hummus, cucumber and tomato salad, baba ghanoush, roasted vegetables, tzatziki, tahini sauce, feta. They toss the combination of ingredients in a mixing bowl so it comes out looking like a hot mess. Luckily, it tastes a lot better than it looks. Fresh ingredients and vibrant flavors. Recommend for a healthier option at the airport.

If you need something late night, this is an ok option. It's totally a sad slop bowl, but it gets the job done. They put the hummus and babaganoush on first at the bottom of the bowl, before the rice and protein? One note, the ordering process is super weird so even if you order a bowl and then ask for a pita, they tell you to go to the end of the line to reorder the pita (in my case, no one was in line after me?? It made no sense since I was literally last in line with no one walking up to order or around the restaurant...)

I was looking for a healthier option for lunch while waiting for my flight and landed on Garbanzo. Overall, the food is decent but the customer service is some of the worst I've experienced at Denver International Airport. Upon walking up, I asked what the difference is between a bowl and a salad. The employee just grabbed a bowl and asked what I wanted. I asked again what the difference is and he looked at me like I was dumb and asked again what I wanted in an irritated voice. Every other employee after that had the same demeanor with one of them not even looking up from her phone once or saying a word. They then have the audacity to ask for a tip. Like I said, decent food as long as you're ok being dealt with as a nuisance.

This location is such a rip off. I grew up in Colorado and had multiple locations and one near my house (Colorado blvd) and it was one of my FAV spots to go to. Fresh healthy and big portions like chipotle... well not here!! I think I got half a scoop of everything and the smallest scoop of rice. For $18 plate you would expect more or else I would've gone to Panda in Gate A instead. And pitas were hard as rocks. Service was sad. The lady that served my tiny portions looked angry I was ordering food. Def not coming here again.

The food was really good . I ordered a plate with chicken, falafel, tabbouleh, rice, and hummus. I liked that I could pick my own options. Things to take note of: The food is expensive, but you are at an airport. Pita bread doesn't come with your plate. You can pay extra if you want it. If you want falafel and chicken, you will have to pay extra. This whole area is a food court, and you might not be able to find a table. Luckily, when we went upstairs, there were some available.

Honestly super tasty for airport food, tzatziki was incredibly tasty and they offer alot of toppings. Chicken was good and I would definitely have again, only complaint is that for a $17 salad it could be bigger. Again though the ingredients all did seem very fresh!

Got a pita sandwich with portebello mushrooms and asked for everything in it. It's really quite good. Take a look at my pics and you can see they've got a custom box that you can tear at the mid-point so it still holds the sandwich in it. It's pretty cool. The people who work the place are super friendly too and really down-to-earth. Def one of the go-to places at this airport.

Salad with gyro - epic!!!! This is half eaten, so we'll served, so fresh.
    Jessica C.

Absolutely delicious, super fresh and healthy food!! I got the salad with gyro meat, babaganoush, zucchini, tzatziki, vinegar and feta. Wow, flavor bomb! Big portions. Super fast too. They throw everything in a metal bowl, mix it up, and you're ready to go. The gyro meat is from a spit and insanely tender. Probably the healthiest and tastiest airport meal I've had. Servers were friendly. Highly recommend!

Fast casual, fresh and healthy food! Really nice for a quick and nutritious meal. I went to the Colorado Boulevard location.

My favorite spot at DIA. I get chicken and mushroom salad, with spicy hummus. It is the best.

I was excited to try after watching a documentary on the Somm channel about that specific winemaker. The wine was delicious. Additionally, I was so happy to see small boutique wine from the Santa Barbara area like Amevive and A Tribute to Grace. Our server Yvonne guided our menu choices thoughtfully and enhanced our experience with excellent service. We started with watermelon feta salad with baby cilantro, walnuts, and harissa oil. The watermelon was cool, sweet, and crisp and the flavors balanced perfectly. If you are a pickle lover you must get the pickles. I think I will be dreaming of them. The pickled cabbage, okra, califlower and snap peas were just the best! The pitas were puffy, but not hollow, and warm. There was also an olive oil dipping sauce that complemented everything. Star of the show for me was the forgaged mushrooms and hummus. These were the most delicious mushrooms and snoothest hummus I have ever experienced, and I think there might be magicians in the kitchen. Our other dishes were cabbage and eggplant. Both taste explosions, done masterfully with a sauce, color and texture. This food is truly incredible, highly recommend. I am in Denver for work, anytime I travel back to Denver I will for sure return to Safta.

Coffee was fine but they gave such a large cup and it got cold right away and we felt bad for asking for refills when we still had a good amount left but cold. Lines weren't bad at all on a Sat morning. Basic American fruit/yogurt, bread, pastries. Deviled eggs. Prime rib was good The different types of sauces like baba ghounash, hummus, etc-- those were all really good mixed together with pita bread. Mediterranean salad was good. Cabbage was meh this time. No honeycomb this time :( :( :( I did not like ANY of the desserts. Neither did my partner. So I just had normal fruit/yogurt for dessert which seemed wasteful. Everything else was kind of just meh to me. Not worth the $65/person (with tip and tax). They also include a 5% surcharge on the bill.

I won't say which, but boy, was it a letdown. The falafel were like little hockey pucks and the pita were like cardboard, flat and stale-tasting. I didn't think you could screw up pita. Only the hummus was passable. All this to say that I have been SPOILED by moving within walking distance of the Byblos in Alamo Placita, which is where a little taco place used to be. It's in a sweet little spot with patio seating on the corner of 4th and Corona, but the draw is really the food. I can't vouch for the meat dishes as a vegan, but WOW is their pita soft, fresh and flavorful, and they replenish it readily. Their hummus is excellent, their baba ghanoush is the best I've had since leaving the greater Boston area (with its abundance of outstanding ethnic restaurants) and the eggplant moussaka is fantastic. Plus they put this fully vegan cream dressing on the garden salad that is out of this world. Byblos has completely ruined me for a lot of other restaurants. As I'm writing this I think I've talked myself into going there for lunch!

The lamb kofte, hummus and mandu dumplings were great! Their pita is fresh and piping hot, unlike other pitas I've had which was a big positive! The main dish my mom got was the carrot dish because she is a vegetarian, it was such a lazy dish! Just extra charred carrots on a bed of chickpeas and sauce - I expected more! Everything lamb was grilled to perfection and tasted really good. The falafel was very tasty as well. Stick to meat options if you decide to dine here.
