Very LOUD, but we only came for the Lobster Roll. Live band & drunk lots people, what do you expect. The key for me, being that I am not a Lobster Roll fan cause of the added Mayo, etc, is the food! The LOBSTER roll was phenomenal! I didn't taste much added at all, just look at the amount of Lobster & no added cover ups to make it taste better or lack of using more lobster meat. Of course Garbos came up & of course I've seen this place on DDD so we had to try it! Oh how I wish I could've fit more tacos in my belly! The fish tacos were legit! We came here for lunch during a recent trip to Key West. Based on Yelp reviews, we ordered the Korean BBQ tacos and the burger. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the bun was soft and had a nice bite to it. For the tacos, we ordered not spicy so we can share with our 10 year old. However, we didn't realize that not spicy means the kimchi is replaced by chopped cabbage, which was disappointing. The meat was a bit overcooked and too salty, which was also disappointing. The trailer/truck sits at the end of a driveway, and there are tables and chairs set up all along the way. There's even a stage set up near the front, likely for live music at night. Can't say much about the service because it's mainly self service, but the food was freshly prepared and came out fast. The burger was good but not great, and the tacos were disappointing. It's also a bit pricey, two items and a can of soda was almost $30. read more

Very much an "ok" place, I don't understand the high reviews. The menu is small, they don't have corn tortillas, and the flour tortillas are the plain and cheap kind, not homemade. The tortillas were a disappointment. I ordered the umami burger which needed salt (I don't think it was salted whatsoever). I ordered it medium but she told me the best they could do was medium well.. it came well done. It needed a sauce and an acidic punch, was really blah. They have one burger/sliders, tacos and a poke bowl. Side options include potato chips. I tasted my friends items and none really impressed me. At first I was worried when I saw that tacos were about $15 then the menu stated it was only two tacos and I was even more worried that I was about to over pay for some tiny tacos but when our order arrived I was shocked to see how much meat was placed in the tacos. I think we both got full off just one taco but happily got extra stuffed eating the remaining. GREAT!!! That's about all I can say. My daughter told me about Garbo l's Grill. She was all about this Mango Hotdog. I was not going to go out of my way for this... she talked me into it anyway. I am so glad she did. I can't even explain to you all the flavors in this thing. It has bacon, mangoes and onions and the roll was sooo good. The Place is hidden behind a building and it looks like a food truck, maybe a permanent one. They have lots Of tables in the shade so you can eat your meal. I was very impressed with my Mango Dog!!! Went here for lunch and would most definitely come back. Saw this place on the show Diners-Drive-ins and Dives and was intrigued. Came here on a weekend and it wasn't too packed, it was hidden away from the main roads but it was a cute little spot. They had live music playing and the overall look was pretty. I got the Shrimp Tacos, one Korean style and the Cayo style. They were AMAZING the flavors were absolutely delicious. Personally I liked the Cayo style better but that's just me. Garbo's grill is a favorite of mine and my husbands mostly for the glorious Korean bbq tacos .They really hit the flavor notes on the head with this one and is always amazing and fully loaded This time around I tried the burger and there hot dog. The burger was good not great, when I see the words umami I'm expecting a flavor explosion but it was very underwhelming I guess it was not bad it just wasn't like . The kogi dog was smothered in the slaw which was a bit much and I feel a tad wasteful...the hot dog itself was a hefty thick guys tasted great. The fried cheese was a nice touch I must say I enjoyed the flavors but still not my favorite, my favorite is hands down the Korean taco but I was glad I tried something new as well. Oh my gosh...We love food trucks because they usually have limited menus to showcase their specialties. Wife had fish tacos which were mahi-mahi. She loved them...moist and tender fillets with mango, cilantro, jalapeño, red cabbage cilantro and a spicy cream sauce. Served on flour tortillas. I did the Korean BBQ burrito. HUGE! Filled with a mildly spicy teriyaki sauce which the meat is marinated in. Also filled with Napa cabbage slaw and cilantro. So full, it actually fell apart and I ended up eating it with a fork. My husband and I were in Key West for a very short visit. While here, we wanted to try a few specific restaurants because of reviews that I had read. Garbo's was one of them- I usually ask local restaurant staff for their recommendations and a bartender also agreed that we should try Garbo's. While I had intended to get the fish tacos only, I am SO glad that I got the Korean Bulgogi tacos as well. They were INCREDIBLE. There are picnic tables throughout the space (Garbo's is a food truck that shares the space with Hank's). You order your tacos, get a drink at the bar, and enjoy all of the adorable dog photos that line the walls inside. You could also listen to live music outdoors.
