[[HIGHLIGHT]]Heavy traffic area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff was kind. I ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich, it really lacked flavor. I also had the banana freeze which is a frozen daiquiri. Highly recommend the daiquiri.

This place was right next to our inn and we had walked by it a bunch of times before deciding to peek in and try it. So glad we did! Our server Sara was fantastic. She was the perfect blend of chatting-with-an-old-friend meets professional waitress. Genuinely talkative friendliness that knew when to leave us to our drinks and food. It's the best kind of server! Another thing I have her to thank for is the tip on the frozen drinks... they use real fruit! SO delicious. I needed some ruffage and have a weak spot for Asian salads... and now I've gone and done it because this was one of the best I've ever had and I can't exactly order it for delivery to Texas! There's so much food but it travels well and you can eat it cold later on right from the fridge and it's still scrumptious. Don't pass this place up!

Went to Foggartys on a Wednesday night with a party of 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its outside on the corner in a very lively area. You can sit and ppl watch and listen to the live music across the street.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a parking lot pretty close by with paid parking. The place wasnt too busy when we got there. We started of with the tex mex rolls as our appetizer. They were so good. Very fresh and flavorful. I got the Philly chicken with fries. The other ppl in my party got the ribs which they really enjoyed. The Philly chicken was really good. It was well seasoned. Not salty. The fries though, were fried hard and seemed like they had been sitting out for a while before it got to me. The waitress did bring me some more fries and although they were hot, they were still fried way too hard to the point where they were brown, so I definitely didnt eat them. We also tried the baklava cheesecake. Coincidentally, I had tried baklava for the first time 3 weeks prior which I enjoyed. So I decided to give the baklava cheesecake a try. It was actually pretty tasty. Although my friends had never had baklava before, they also enjoyed the cheesecake. The waitress was nice and the manager came around to apologize for the fries which was appreciated.

Y'all, I LOVED my salad. We were at First Flight and I saw the same salad for about double the price. I would have eaten there, [[HIGHLIGHT]]but my husband didn't really like the atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But this place really like everything, the atmosphere was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service is excellent, but they were terrific. When they sat us down, I didn't ask for the bathroom, but they told me so sweetly, so nicely.

The food here was so good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is very laid back with plenty of seating outside and inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was EXCEPTIONAL thanks to BRANDON! Brandon, your sweet demeanor and attention to every detail was outstanding! You are Great At what you do and when we come back we will definitely ask for you. Brandon you made our experience an amazing one. Thank you

There are many restaurant-bars along Duval Street but Fogarty's seemed a bit better and it was. We sat outside and our waitress came by right away. She was pleasant and efficient. Our meals were unexpectedly good. The Blackened Fish Tacos had a good amount of Mahi and were very flavorful. The broccolini was tasty and the portions were very good. I would definitely recommend Fogarty's if you are looking for a good meal at reasonable prices in Key West.

    Don't feed the birds!

Best mahi mahi on the island! The service is great. The dining is all outside, and the birds take advantage of that. There are signs not to feed the birds but the dodos still feed them, people not the extinct birds. So you do have a little bit of shooing away you have to do. Everything was delicious especially the mahi mahi. We had salads and shrimp as well and it was all super fresh and delicious.

Conch fritters and asian chicken salad. Both were very good. The sale had sliced almonds and mandarin oranges with other "crunchies" that really made the asian salad dressing pop! The chicken had a nice asian sauce - not spicy but sweet and the chicken was moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside Enjoyed sitting outside people watching. There is A/C seating inside. Great place for the kids to eat as well. Our waiter was good and always came back and asked if we needed anything.

    Flying monkey slushie
    Jeremy F.

Food was delicious and they were not holding back on the amount of shrimp! Food came out pretty fast too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe was pretty chill and the staff was nice![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They also gave very good recommendations for things to do and sights to see. The 16oz slushie is definitely big enough and unless you are going to be staying there awhile or like brain freezes you don't need the big ones. Would recommend to everyone and would go back again!

The prices were friendly, the atmosphere was fun, and the combination of cold drinks and spicy food gave me enough courage to face whatever horrors waited outside. Unfortunately, after ordering my second beer, the lights began flickering and a mysterious voice whispered, "One more round." I assumed it was a ghost until I realized it was just someone at the bar making a recommendation. Then the salsa started moving on its own. I bravely consumed it anyway. By the end of the night, I had defeated the haunted salsa, secured another inexpensive beer, and escaped with my soul mostly intact. Mary Ellen's is a great stop for cheap drinks, Mexican food, and the possibility of being spiritually possessed by a particularly aggressive jalapeño. Five stars, though I recommend keeping an eye on the chips.

While I was checking it out, the bouncer at the bar next door told me it was worth a visit, which sealed the deal. Later that evening, I convinced my friends to go with me. They were expecting a full sit-down dinner, but this is more of a counter-service spot with 6-7 bar stools inside. The setup is simple: place your order at the counter, then either grab a stool or head to the bar next door, where they'll bring your food when it's ready. We chose the bar's patio, which gave us a clear view of the restaurant. It was reassuring to see other groups having their meals delivered over too--it felt like we had discovered the right local gem. The wait was about 25-30 minutes, but that only confirmed everything was being made fresh. And let me tell you, it was absolutely worth it. Our group ordered two jerk chicken plates with plantains, mac n' cheese, and slaw; one oxtail with black beans, rice, and mac n' cheese; and one jerk burger with fries. Every single dish was a hit. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky spice and heat from the scotch bonnet peppers, balanced with bold Caribbean flavors. The oxtail was tender and flavorful, and even the sides like mac n' cheese and plantains stood out. All in all, this was easily one of the best Caribbean meals I've had anywhere. A true must try when in Key West.
