He said he would come to my house on July 4th, between 8:40-9:00 am. By 9:30 am, he had not shown up or called. I called him, thinking maybe I had misunderstood something about the date or time. He answered on 3d ring and when I asked if if he was going to be here today, he said " no, I need to reschedule". I told him to forget it. He did not even have the courtesy to call me to say he was not coming. I reminded him that it was he who asked to set the date and time and I made the effort to comply with his request to be available. I have no patience with, nor interest in, doing business with people like this. Don't waste your time with this guy.

Before choosing someone on yelp, I read through the reviews like anyone should. There were some low…read moremarks on Andy that were concerning, but I wanted to give him a shot. I had a project that I've been putting off for a long time to change our our backyard. We wanted to put turf down for our dogs and clean up some out of control growth. Like anyone should I got multiple quotes. Let's just say, Andy DESTROYED the 3 other quotes I had received for this. Andy's quote was so good, I was skeptical of the work that would be done. Now here is where I will agree with some of the reviews, the response is a bit lacking with Andy, but thats via email, you want to get connected, phone/text is the way. From quote to work this entire project was done in a couple of weeks. The backyard looks amazing, like it's a completely different house. Andy's team was professional, fast, and some of the most hardworking guys I've met. Andy was here with them putting in work as well. I cannot recommend this guy enough for your projects, he'll not only save you money, but, he'll make your landscape look amazing and get it done quick. So after our first experience, which is typed up below, we ended up just hiring Eric to seed the…read moregrass for us. The quote he gave us was affordable and once we asked him to do it, he was very quick at getting us into his schedule. We let the weeds get out of hand again since the last time he helped us out, so we actually needed him to get rid of the weeds again before we could seed. He came one day and took out all the weeds himself. He also spray weed killer all over the yard. Left instructions on how to spray for weeds for one week. We needed to spray daily. Then he came back a week later and did the tilling of the yard, to get the dirt softened up. After that he had to haul away some dirt for us to the landfill as we had dug a hole for our trampoline to be in ground and had just piled it in the yard where the grass needed to go. Next he and his crew got the irrigation system set up. They brought in a trencher and dug the trenches for the pipes, connected everything, got the sprinklers hooked up, tested them, and then buried the pipes. He was able to connect the sprinklers to our watering system we already had on the house which was nice. When he finished, he graded and then seeded the yard, as well as put down the top soil. After the seeding, he watered the yard and then gave us instructions on how to care for the grass, what the watering schedule needs to be, and how long to stay off of it, etc. The whole process seemed long, but in reality it only took about 2 weeks, and that's only because he had to get the weeds out! He's fast, affordable, friendly, and good at communicating without trying to oversell you. He runs a really good and honest business and we'll definitely be hiring him again. I'll come back and add to my review after the grass is grown! We're very excited about it. First experience - beginning of summer We moved into a new house about a year before we hired Eric. The backyard was not done. Just dirt. We weren't ready to fix it up right away so we left it. Then the rain and and the MUD. ‍‍ And then after the mud came the MASSIVE INFLUX OF WEEDS!! Weeds of every shape and kind! Our poor dogs were constantly covered in burs and we hAd to go through their fur every time they came inside. Our kids couldn't play out there either! Anyways, we found Eric on yelp, hired him to clean up the backyard and get rid of all the weeds. He and his crew came, stayed for a few hours, and it was like a brand new yard! They even put the weeds in our green bin for us! We really liked how he handled business. He's quick, affordable, and a nice guy as well. After hiring him for the weed removal, we decided we would ask him about seeding grass. He was very open with suggestions, and even went as far as to explain the exact process of what we would need to do, the order of things, etc. My husband was considering doing it himself at this point, and Eric was very helpful and provided a bunch of great tips and info on how to get us going. I contacted this Co. on 4-10-19 to inquire about discing my property in early May. I was asked for my address, access points, ground surface(due to the weight of machine) & size of the property. This person was pleasant & informed me that he would probably have to use one of his smaller tractors & started talking shop about the size, weight,etc. At the end of the conversation, I was instructed to call about 2 weeks before I was ready to have it done. I'm about 3 miles away & he said it was no big deal. He even went as far as to quote me approx. $300 for my 3.5 ac. I had a good feeling when I hung the phone up & felt relieved I had found someone to replace my neighbor who's tractor/discs were getting old. I did kind of wonder why I wasn't placed on any list knowing this was one of the main Co's in Sacramento. My next call was on 4-25. She took my name,info., & asked a few general questions. There was a child screaming in the background & it was rushed. She stated she would relay my info. On 4-30(due to no call back), I called again. It sounded like the same female & again a child was crying in the background"LOUDLY". This time I asked for her name which was "Amanda". I was informed at that time he was booked out & wasn't even doing callbacks for a couple of weeks! On 5-7 @ 3:30pm, I actually came up there with my husband. You can't even get to the office! I was lucky(or so I thought) & spoke to Steve who was just getting ready to leave. He was courteous & tried to be helpful. He's the best thing they got going for them it seems. He called Kevin who was in Rohnert Park. Kevin instructed Steve to get my info. & they would call me. Steve said it was a small parcel but even if he had to come over on a Sunday with the small tractor he would get it done. Again I received no callback. After calling around & realizing how difficult it was going to be to get on anyone's schedule at this point(unless I wanted to be taken advantage of) I attempted one last time to go up there. Steve was there in the shop & stated that he did, in fact, put our info. on Kevin's desk. Stated maybe it was because they didn't have any of the small tractors around. Needless to say I take very good notes. I actually received a verbal warning a couple weeks later due to a rollover accident that took place out front of my property from a Firefighter. Luckily my neighbor was nice enough to bail me out, went & worked on his Tractor, and got the job done! If my parcel was too small then why not just tell me up front? Why all the questions if you didn't even have good intentions? All you did was cause me a bunch of unnecessary stress.
