Horrible service and they do not listen I ordered 4 carne asada burritos and I repeated it to her 5 times and she even repeated my order and said you want the carne asada burritos when I got home which is like 18 mins away we started eating and it was carnitas and my family can not have pork and I even called the lady and she was very rude saying that I can't bring that back cause there's nothing they can do I still brought them and they read the name on the bag and she was arguing with me trying to say that they said carne asada I said no they are pork she checked them and remade them for me not even giving anything on the side for free not even a drink when I had to drive all the way to bring it back cause they messed up on it horrible service never going back there again!! read more

I will not be coming here for bread no more, the bread displays had so many flys inside all over the bread and I mentioned it to the cashier and she dint care and ignored it. The meat is of very poor quality and very tuff and fatty and the cashier are very rude , not sure what type of customer service they been taught but the owner should really teach them to greet and be Courteous to the customers , I've been here several times times and always the same type of experience. read more

I love the champurado from Garcias amongst all the other authentic Mexican foods that they prepare on a daily basis. For those who by now are wondering what is champurado It's a yummy heartwarming soul warming and body warming hot drink that you can buy in the food court. It's made with corn flour with sugar and chocolate. It's so good I come three times a week for it. But you have to get there before 11 cuz it sells out fast! Don't forget to try their tamales, carnitas or chile rellenos. I promise you will not be disappointed! Great job Garcias market you Rock!!! read more

I really don't understand the bad reviews. I have been to Garcia's a couple times. Both times my experience has great. When I had questions employees were happy to answer them. I've bought asada from their meat counter and pastor and it was really good. They have a great selection of groceries. And they have a good produce section. Great little market. My wife and I had a taco night at our house for our family. We bought most of it from Garcia's. It was a hit! My family loved all the food. Especially the tortillas that were made by market. The staff there are very respectful and polite. I thought the produce looked very fresh and they have a large meat counter. I went back and got a burrito from their taqueria for lunch the other day. Very tasty and was so big I didn't want to eat the rest of the day. We will be back! read more

Friendly and clean market located in downtown riverbank. This is a pretty big grocery store with a large meat and seafood department, and I have found cuts of meat that you can't find in a savemart or Obriens. I need specific items to make certain filipino dishes and I have always found them at this store. Only draw back is it can get a little pricey with the seafood but that's expected, They also have a good, and super fresh Taqueria inside the store. Love the Homemade super crispy and large PEICES of Chicharrones. You know the kind with that extra thick PEICE of meat and crispy fat..yup SO GOOD! Mmmhmm.. Worst service I have ever received! I ordered 2 wet burritos and they gave me regular burritos. I told her politely the order was incorrect and she RUDELY told me that we were charged something different so if we wanted them as wet burritos we had to pay the $2.15 difference. She was so rude and disrespectful about the whole situation. Then, she gave me the bag of food all just thrown in their and not closed right so everything spilled in the bag. My husband and I went to this store to get some lunch, we looked at the menu and made our choices. Their was at least 6 - 7 people working in the kitchen, we waited and waited and waited to be acknowledged. Apparently they must all be blind! No one helped us. I love this place, their fast food bar is the best! They have tables there too if you decide you want to eat there. Their burritos and the Carnitas are one the best that I've tasted and I've had plenty of both. I highly recommend you go there. Not expensive either. Great place for a quick mexican food dish. I love their bakery! Their pastries are super yummy and service has always been friendly.

My husband and I love getting the carnitas at the taqueria located inside. We have also bought several bakery items, including the tres leches cake, which is YUMMY not to mention their marinated meats are delicious. Everyone who works there is always friendly! The only bad thing is that sometimes some of your "average" items can get expensive compared to your typical grocery store. read more
