Great vibes, genuine customer service, and even better pizza! Must stop in for some pizza when you're in Salem.

Wanted a quick bite and was happy to see this spot sells by the slice and by the pie. Service is friendly - you order at the counter and then grab your food once it's ready. We opted for a single slice each and it was plenty! The portion size is great, measures out to be roughly like 1.5 - 2 slices. Pizza was flavorful and the crust was between a hand tossed and NY style. There was a decent amount of seating inside, but could see it getting loud once it's busy. Overall, we'd definitely come back!

Another place that was a little overpriced. Slice of cheese and a coke for $9, and it was just a normal size slice to me. The slice was good and had a good texture to it and the cheese and sauce were great. But factoring in the price, it wasn't worth it overall.

Decent, average pizza located in Salem near the downtown area and old city hall. Pizza by the slice in fast casual, spacious, clean, low thrill interior. Simplistic menu. Reasonable prices. Alcohol available. Fast and friendly service. Found the plates entertaining- ceramic or plastic plate but under cheap paper plate design. Ordered the pepperoni and the porchetta, pepper, pineapple slices. Slices were served hot and were just the thing to warm you up on a cool windy fall day. However, without disrespect, pizza was pretty average. Better than frozen pizza by a long shot but dough/crust composition and flavor was pretty unremarkable. 3 star but a-okay overall.

The pizza was so tasty! Unique taste but their ranch was incredible!!!!!!! As for the service.... Wow. Sean and Stew were the best! This little girl started crying out of nowhere and they gave her candy and ice cream to cheer her up. It was so heartwarming. They were also funny! Definitely recommend this place!

Omg! Best pizza I have ever had! Trust me, I live very close to the North End of Boston. The crust was so crispy and thin. We got ricotta with meatball slices...a little something before my nieces wedding. The ambiance is a very clean pizza parlor in Salem! Very cool. We had a beer from Martha's Vineyard which was light and tasty. The owners are very proud of their pizzas, as they should be! Not a lot of parking but public parking nearby, a quick walk. Wheelchair friendly. Salads & pastries available as well. I promise, you will love it!

Margarita and a meatball and ricotta slice.

I had this pizza parlor on my must stop and try list while visiting family. The pizza slices were huge and as a pizza fanatic, I loved it. I had the meatball & ricotta pizza slice and it tasted heavenly. The decor inside was pretty cool too! You have to check out their giant monster art piece inside. Their team was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive.

I was looking for vegan-friendly options near my hotel, and this spot was conveniently close by. The menu had so much to choose from: bowls, handhelds, drinks, desserts, and more. I don't usually order iced coffees or teas, but the Blueberry Cloud Matcha sounded too interesting to pass up. It came out beautifully layered, with whipped foam on top, matcha in the middle, and blueberry syrup at the bottom. I noticed some people using straws, but I drank it without one, and it was delicious. The foam blended into everything perfectly while still keeping those pretty layers. My bowl came out soon after and was just as nicely presented. I especially loved the whipped sweet potato, which was such delicate touch. The bowl was also very filling, with lots of fresh, hearty ingredients, so I couldn't quite finish it--but it was satisfying and delicious. I visited late in the afternoon, around 3pm on a sunny Friday, and the cafe was still packed. There was plenty of seating, including cozy corners and brighter areas near the windows. Overall, it felt peaceful, relaxed, and very much like a community hub. If you're visiting Salem and looking for a vegan-friendly spot, this is definitely worth checking out.

You order at the window and they give you a number and bring you your food. I went with the rainbow harvest bowl. They truly proved me wrong! Not only was the food filling, but flavor was so prominent in this dish. There were also a lot of textures at play from creamy to crunchy and all in between. I never would think to combine all of these vegetables and starches along with the seasonings that they did and now I want to. I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Restaurant Week, as per the Salem Chamber of Commerce's website, is summed up as: "Participating restaurants offered special two- and three-course prix-fixe menus, giving locals and visitors alike a chance to explore, support, and celebrate Salem's vibrant dining scene." For $45 I got cheddar jalapeño fritters, a poutine burger (hamburger with fries cheese and gravy on top, kale Caesar salad with freshly grated cheese, and fresh, piping hot apple cider donuts. The burger was hearty, the fritters popped, and the donuts hit the spot but by far the standout was the kale caesar salad with the creamy dressing over crispy and crunchy kale topped with the tangy grated cheese. A Downeast cider washed it all down and was refreshing. I went on a weekday so there were a few people sitting at the bar with me but overall the place wasn't packed. What I really appreciated was the general manager came to talk to me specifically about their Restaurant Week food selection and to get my feedback. She was super friendly and I told her about the kale caesar salad. Parking is on the street and can be hit or miss because The Babe is right on Washington Street where it starts to curve around the corner. It's worth it to keep circling though. The Babe has different events each night of the week, including Jazz Tuesdays and karaoke Fridays. I had a great time at The Babe and I appreciate how much they support the local Salem community. I am looking forward to going back!

IThe bar serves 12 draft beers, beer cans/bottles, wine, and cocktails. After a drive on a foggy evening, I stopped in at Trade House for some late evening food and to catch the Celtics game on TV. I took a seat at a high top table next to the bar. The server came over in a couple minutes after I settled in. I requested an ice water and immediately placed my food order. For a starter, Fried Calamari ($16 plus tax) served in a bowl had flash fried calamari rings & tentacles with a light coating, very tender to eat with lemon wedge for zest and a pomodoro sauce for dipping. For dinner, the Southern Fried ($17 plus tax) was stacked with lettuce, tomato, red onions, thick crunchy fried buttermilk chicken, pimento & pickle chips on a toasted bun. The side of thinner cut golden fries was salted and firm, ketchup cup on the side. I very much enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich with the crisp fries. After I was done, the server dropped off the check, which was $35.31 with tax and before tip. Overall, a great tasting fried meal in a noisy pub, NBA finals on TV, and adequate service.
