My dads side of the family and myself stayed here for a weekend. It was 13 of us and the Garden Grove employees were so kind to us. Every time I thought "oh I need" I would turn and look and it was already in the room... I can't wait to go back here.

Fresh flowers on our night stand. Excellent touch.

I absolutely loved our stay this past weekend. We stayed for our anniversary in the cottage room. Our room was spacious, very clean, cozy and perfect for a romantic celebration weekend with my husband. We had some delays and drove up later than planned but Jerry was super welcoming and helped us get settled in. There were free bikes to rent and ride about a mile down to the beach. Our in room massage was a romantic and bring an avid massage girl the Lady did a great job! Breakfast was delicious - home style and brought to our room every morning. I'm literally planning our next visit soon. Thanks for the hospitality.

Well behaved dogs were indeed welcome. Including Butters the Chow Chow

Nice little Bed & Breakfast, or so I would assume as this was my first time staying at such a place. Everything was nice & clean. We stayed in the big red pet friendly room above the carriage house, and it had everything you might need: Smart TV with cable, WiFi, mini fridge, microwave, cups, plates, cork screw, hair dryer (my wife always needs to know so she doesn't have to lug hers around). The whole place had a quaint country house vibe going on, think of the house from Beetlejuice before the Deetz's moved in and redecorated. The included breakfast was legit good. No frozen Eggo's or microwaved precooked bacon. The first day we got a fresh baked blueberry muffin and egg & cheese tacos with salsa and avocado plus sweet potato hash. The second day was a slice of lemon pound cake and some kind of baked egg casserole that was loaded with veggies and topped with a slightly spicy tomato jam, fruit salad, and sourdough toast. We overheard another couple complaining about not liking something or another, and the hostess seemed more than happy to scramble this fussy eater up some eggs. Coffee was real good too. This place is close to all kinds of wineries, breweries, and stuff to do. I'd go back for sure.

We stayed at Garden Grove in April 2022, and it was great! We chose it because of the beautiful pictures, the location and designation as a Certified Safe Space - all very important to us. Hillary was great and responsive the week before checkin as we planned our trip to St. Joseph and Union Pier. Super easy walk (under 10 min) to the wineries down the road. We stayed in the Sunflower room which was lovely and so cozy...seriously, the best night of sleep I've had in a while. Breakfast was tasty, too...we'll definitely be back!

Coffee and orange juice are abundant. My room was a birch room and was very spacious since I was the only guest. It contains a separate bath off the bedroom which made it an en-suite. The tv worked and there was a small fireplace in the room which emitted heat if you needed it. The design of the shower did not suit the bathroom because it needed to be deeper. Too much water escapes and gets on the floor. The blinds and microwave need cleaning - desperately. Hopefully, that will get done. Sleeping at night was great because it was very quiet. Overall, a great stay at the inn. That part-time housekeeper needs to get hired to make it excellent!!!

You get extra privacy with the separate entrance and building, as opposed to other B&Bs where you're in a central house. Bill's and the other cabin are totally free standing, the other units are all one long building with separate outdoor entrances. The main lobby/ house area is a few steps away and where breakfast is served as well as where you can grab soda or bottled water at any hour. There's also a lot of local brochures and an awesome DVD collection. We stayed over the rainiest weekend of all time. The cabin was cozy and we certainly enjoyed that amazing DVD collection- something for everyone. There is wifi which seemed a tad slow, but given the location and weather I was not surprised by that. The cabin stayed toasty even though we didn't turn up the thermostat or light the wood stove. The hot tub was quite nice for an evening when it finally stopped raining for an hour. Bill's Cabin is totally adorable in its rustic décor, and we absolutely loved the cat theme too! We were also told the cabins are pet friendly. Breakfast in the morning is great- pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit (HUGE honey crisp apples!!), juice, coffee. Great company with other guests and the owner, AJ. When we arrived the first night (around 8pm due to crazy weather), AJ was waiting and ready to give us a little tour. He even directed us to some local restaurants that would still be serving dinner. Location is a short drive to all the tourist locations and just a couple blocks from the lake. While I'm usually very frugal, I felt White Rabbit Inn was well worth the expense and we plan to come back for our first anniversary.

Andy & Nita are fantastic hosts. We arrived and were greeted by Andy who quickly showed us to his version of "afternoon tea" which was wine and freshly baked cookies. Oh.my.God. They were delicious! We were given a tour of the property, along with some history. Andy took his time in explaining a map of the city and giving his recommendations for things to do and restaurants. This was such a nice and personal touch. We stayed in the Michigan Room. It was so warm and cozy. We felt right at home. This B&B is the perfect blend of modern and vintage. It definitely had the original charm of the home. But, it also has great modern conveniences such as an Apple TV, USB wall chargers and a pretty amazing shower. Entrance to the house, and your room, is by a personal code. Again, super cool:) There are towels aplenty and the bath robes are made from the worlds softest material. The house is located on a very quiet street which makes relaxing so easy. Do yourself a favor and take a walk around the neighborhood. The charm in the surrounding houses sends you back in time. It's a short 5 minute walk to downtown or to the beach. Breakfasts were amazing! On day 1, we had homemade stuffed cinnamon swirl french toast, fruit and yogurt parfait, an egg souffle and organic sausage. Day 2 was homemade cinnamon rolls, bacon and a caramelized apple, pecan and brie omelette. Whenever Andy wants to cook for you, just say yes because it's going to be heavenly! It was so nice sitting with Andy and the other couple for some fun and informative conversation. Overall, the personal touches are what set this B&B above and beyond any experience we've previously had. Thank you, Andy & Nita!

The worn wood floors, heavy oak doors, and humble, mismatched old furniture are part of the charm. On the rainy fall weekend I came, their rates were lower than the nearby Baymont and Holiday Inn Express. The place was quiet and cozy. The lobby is quite nice and inviting. I stayed in room 2. It had a fridge and microwave, individual-room temperature control (which some of these old inns don't have), no TV (ok with me, and helped insure against noise from adjoining rooms), ceiling fan, and a little outside porch. The bathroom was very clean, though the baseboards and corners of the room itself were dusty and needed attention. Bed was average/ok, not luxury but not awful. Pillows were thin and could have been nicer. The innkeepers on duty as well as the people I emailed at various times before coming were all helpful and accommodating. My only serious gripe was that the wifi was nonexistent on my end of the building. They claim they're getting another access point.
