Food places are a short drive and convenient. Pros: Awesome, friendly staff. From the FD to HK to the folks at breakfast. The hotel is clean while dated (I'll get to that later) . On site laundry that uses credit cards only. This is a hotel that has always exceeded expectations. The breakfast offers great rotating selection. You can also pick up a snack bag on the way out in the morning. Cons: Hotel is dated and in need of a remodel. I am told that a renovation is coming soon. The WiFi is good except you have to "renew" daily this is frustrating especially on an extended stay. Many hotels post Covid cut back in the customer service area not here! When we checked in, they informed us the pool was closed, which was disappointing as we were most excited about that. They said they had a bistro bar every night that is open until 10:00PM, and there was a big poster board of a fancy mixed drink and good looking food to advertise it. We tried to go to that Friday night but realized it's literally just some beer bottles to choose from and they don't even make food or mixed drinks. We thought it would be an actual bar within the hotel, but it was just where you go in the morning for breakfast. In the morning, the "free breakfast" is just a super hard granola bar and a muffin which was also pretty disappointing. They have Starbucks coffee to buy, but the person running it doesn't know how to actually make the coffee and has to look it up. It's also super weird because you have to then walk back over to the check-in desk to pay for it which really slows things down. The room was nothing fancy for the price and all the perks we thought the hotel would have they didn't.

He was rude and condescending and took his sweet assed time about finding me the absolute worst room available and they're were plenty. He told me I would have to pay a $50 deposit and when I asked what for he replied " if you damage anything or smoke in the room." The only reason I stayed at that point was that that was the ONLY motel in Kokomo where I could use my points for a free night. Yes, I'm a platinum rewards member!! The room was horrible, it smelled, it was dirty, no place to hang clothes and no security locks on the door. I made the best of it until I went outside to have a smoke and when I tried to get back in the room my key wouldn't work. I walked to the office twice ( quite a walk ) up on my third try I called and told them they could come try. They used a master to let me in but never came back to fix whatever was wrong. Jethro? Bottom line, I'm glad I didn't pay for my stay and Jethro shouldn't be in the hospitality business.
