We researched vegan restaurants extensively before our trip to Naples, and this one had excellent…read morereviews. It was noted that the service was slow and staff not particularly friendly, so we just went in expecting that. Located right along the waterfront in Naples, the restaurant has plenty of outside seating and was on a lovely, relatively quiet, side street off the main drag, with citrus trees! We are English speakers, and while we tried to use some Italian, we were flawed, yet our server was very kind to us. We didn't find him lacking friendliness at all, he just wasn't outgoing and chatty like servers in the US can be (or maybe he was with people more fluent in Italian, who knows!). The menu is all vegan. My vegan brother was overjoyed at being able to eat everything, and the rest of us quickly found things to be excited about too. Highlights, in my opinion, included the antipasta mista platter (omg those vegan mozzarella sticks!!!), the ravioli (cooked to perfection, unbelievably flavorful and I couldn't believe there was no cheese in them!), and the grilled mushrooms (these shocked everyone at the table by tasting exactly like a STEAK!!!!). Oh, and I can't forget the amazing tiramisu we had for dessert. The service was very slow, but considering how expertly crafted and beautifully arranged every dish was, this just implied to me that they hadn't prepare much in advance, and they were making everything as it was ordered- I don't consider that a downside. Plus, during our whole time in Italy we have noticed that it's the custom to linger over a nice meal, and we are the only family we see who eats and bolts. I don't hold this fact against this restaurant at all.

I forgot to mention the falafel with hummus, which was amazing with the bread they brought out to start. I cannot say enough great things about this place. Go to Napoli just to eat here. Vegan wine on the menu, close to the Via Nazario Sauro, and excellent outdoor seating. Stop reading and go. Or look at the pictures and decide you really want to find out for yourselves how excellent this place is.

Stomach growling as I was walking down Viale Pasitea (the main thoroughfare in town), multiple good options caught my eye. After some Gmaps searching (sorry Yelp, again limited and some outdated data in Europe!) their beautiful IG-able interior + stellar reviews cinched the decision for me. It's both a restaurant and retail store--the latter carries local ceramics, kitchenware and home decor, many with botanical designs--capturing that quintessential coastal vibe--colors back to white. The former takes up the remaining three-quarters of the white-washed space with about two dozen tables seating about 40-50 people. Live vines hang from parts of the ceiling, pendant lighting fixtures printed with leaf patterns echo the botanical theme from the retail displays. The aesthetic rounds out with tiled floors, light wood furniture, and pillowed banquette seating mixed with individual tables, tying in designs from the home goods store. Food is new Italian--they do carry some traditional dishes though they also have a modern Mediterranean section of the menu that adds non-traditional ingredients or techniques. They also serve a variety of cocktails, fresh-squeezed or blended juices and smoothies, and coffee drinks. Lunch with an entree and drink will run you about €35-40, which is on the higher side though par for the course compared to other similar restaurants along the Amalfi Coast. I ordered the traditional fagioli cannellini, scarola, capperi, olive e calamari gratinati €26 (cannellini beans, escarole, capers, olives and gratinated calamari). This was creamy and tasty even though it had no cheese or cream, the calamari was cooked well, just tender enough, and coated with light breadcrumbs, which I appreciated as it was baked and not deep-fried. Having minimal familiarity with dish, I can only say I thought it was outstanding, good textural contrast, not too salty. Staff was the right amount of attentive without being overbearing, and though their English was limited, they strove to answer my questions on ingredients in a few of the dishes. The restaurant was pretty busy during lunch, but I never felt rushed. Loved the atmosphere and food here, would certainly recommend!

Service was astounding and food was astonishing. However, I feel easily pleased with food while abroad so I moreso would like to comment on the service and ambiance. Overall, great views, food, company, and ambiance!

Great views and a "farm to table" concept, would recommend coming here! good food for the most part…read more- would not recommend the desserts though. After being tricked by tourist traps via TripAdvisor all over Rome, I'm glad we found this place! - Ambiance (Yay) was great, no tacky checkered table cloths and good amount of elbow room here - Service (€3 pp, eh) started off well when we arrived early but was VERy slow when more guests arrived - Parking @7 on Monday if you drive yourself is decent, street parking Food (YAY): - free bread (ok): haven't really had "good" bread in Italy besides pizza type dough tbh. I'm a fan of crusty Spanish bread, French croissants, etc but the bread here generally doesn't cut it - minestrone (€12, yay): lots of veggies like onions, tomatoes and potatoes, not super acidic - gnocchi (€14, yay): fresh and tangy but sweet tomatoes, perfectly cooked gnocchi - sea bass (€24, yay): basically steamed, cooked in water and served with a mostly tomato-based slightly thickened sauce - steak (€22, SO said yay): sans-fat, served with butter/roasted rosemary potatoes Dessert (NAY): - lemon dessert cake (€10 - meh): overly sweet filling and cake, but the cake was moist - mousse w/strawberries (€10 - BoOoo): wrongly tempted by the "made from our garden" strawberries, this was super super sweet and lost the "fresh" aspect TLDR: great views, would recommend for a romantic dinner - not the cheapest but quality ingredients and friendly overall. Save some € and pass on the desserts though.
