I noticed what looked like the owner (or perhaps the general manager) walking around, checking on guests, and helping with service, which added such a warm, authentic touch. Like many restaurants by the water in Italy, the seafood here is incredibly fresh ~ and this place is no exception. We also enjoyed some Prosecco, which paired perfectly with the meal. The view was stunning, and the whole restaurant buzzed with lively, happy energy. I would definitely return ~ not only because it was surprisingly affordable, but also because restaurants like this, with their true authenticity and old-world charm, are my favorite. One small note: the bathroom is on the second floor, so if you're older or have mobility issues, just keep in mind there's a set of stairs to climb. But that's very common across Western Europe.
