I came into Sportman's Warehouse to look for a new firearm. Despite multiple patrons at the gun counter, I was immediately helped. The employees were extremely knowledgeable about their inventory and the firearms they were selling. Later, when we were about to leave, my friend and I proceeded to buy a bag of hard candy. When we got to the cashier, he was swamped with other customers at the customer service counter. Instead of having us wait to process the transaction, he simply gave us the candy free of charge. The level of service here is unparalleled. The employees are attentive, knowledgeable, nice, and truly care about the customer. Sportsman's Warehouse in Sheridan has earned my business. I will be buying my future supplies and firearms from this specific Sportsman's Warehouse.

It really can be as simple as that - having a conversation where two people show respect for one another. They guys both at the boot wall and at the rental counter were both fantastic. I wish I could remember their names but I came in the evening on 12/17 and 12/18. This store is a lot more spacious but has a lot of empty areas. Overall it doesn't have fantastic selection in terms of winter gear in my opinion for like jackets and pants. Now the gentleman that helped me with fitting for my ski boots was amazing and was super helpful in finding me a boot that fit for large calves. I haven't gotten new boots in 6 years so I forgot how this goes but even during the heating and molding process he was great and told me what I needed to do. Even the other guy working there was great in helping the family next to me while they were setting up their daughter with all new gear. The gentleman at the rental counter on 12/17 then the folks on 12/18 were awesome and even though I was planning on picking up my niece's gear Friday they let us take it Thursday night and were super laid back. Awesome staff all around here and everyone seems to really know their stuff!

Clothing prices have also gone up, yet much of the selection is still low-quality polyester with very few natural fiber options, making it hard to justify paying $30 or more. Another frustrating issue is that many makeup and personal care items are now locked behind glass, but there often seems to be no staff nearby to assist customers. The store's recent reconfiguration has also made shopping more difficult, as items have been moved around and there is rarely anyone available to help locate them. Overall, the shopping experience has declined enough that it no longer feels worth it to shop there. At this point, stores like Target or Walgreens offer a more convenient and satisfying option for cosmetics and clothing.

There are no groceries in my order, nothing that needs refrigeration or freezing. I don't know why they've changed from a 4 day window to a one hour window. The main problem is I'm stuck at work and not able to pick up the order exactly when I'm scheduled. I can head there a few hours late, but there's no way to tell if the order will still be there for me or if they will have canceled it. The email they sent warning me I must pick up my order within 30 minutes is irritating and not helpful. I live in the foothills with no Walmart nearby, and It's a very long 45 minute drive to get to this one, which is the closest one. I don't want to get there only to find out it's a wasted trip. So frustrating I can't reach anything but a phone recording. The customer service at this store is non-existent. If I could shop somewhere else, or have stuff delivered I would. Delivery is not an option in my rural area. (And shipping with FedEx only has a 50/50 chance of being delivered to the right place - they frequently dump packages in random ditches, not just for me but for everybody in my community.) BLARGHHHHH
