I came into Sportman's Warehouse to look for a new firearm. Despite multiple patrons at the gun counter, I was immediately helped. The employees were extremely knowledgeable about their inventory and the firearms they were selling. Later, when we were about to leave, my friend and I proceeded to buy a bag of hard candy. When we got to the cashier, he was swamped with other customers at the customer service counter. Instead of having us wait to process the transaction, he simply gave us the candy free of charge. The level of service here is unparalleled. The employees are attentive, knowledgeable, nice, and truly care about the customer. Sportsman's Warehouse in Sheridan has earned my business. But for a more welcoming experience, I'd suggest looking elsewhere if customer service is a priority.

They guys both at the boot wall and at the rental counter were both fantastic. I wish I could remember their names but I came in the evening on 12/17 and 12/18. This store is a lot more spacious but has a lot of empty areas. Overall it doesn't have fantastic selection in terms of winter gear in my opinion for like jackets and pants. Now the gentleman that helped me with fitting for my ski boots was amazing and was super helpful in finding me a boot that fit for large calves. I haven't gotten new boots in 6 years so I forgot how this goes but even during the heating and molding process he was great and told me what I needed to do. Even the other guy working there was great in helping the family next to me while they were setting up their daughter with all new gear. The gentleman at the rental counter on 12/17 then the folks on 12/18 were awesome and even though I was planning on picking up my niece's gear Friday they let us take it Thursday night and were super laid back. I am now able to go to stores (my husband is still in the store) shop by myself with no anxiety, fear, PTSD panic episodes. Now for Walmart: we are greeted in a very friendly manner when we arrive. Employees say hello to me, I am not self conscious or fearful that the store is angry. I want to thank Walmart for the kind treatment and respect I am given. We actually find reasons to shop there.
