I ended up changing my mind and asked for my money back. They gave me a hard time and tried to explain why we needed to pay that huge fee for services that are covered by his insurance!! She still went on when I asked for my money back 4x. She said anywhere I go they are going to charge me that much. Let me tell you..... I called two places and I found a dentist where everything is completely covered. What a shame that this office is doing this...

I did 3 implants here and it was pain free and fast once the waiting period for healing time was up. Keep in mind there are stages and waiting time for each stage depending if you need a bone graft or not. Also, healing time for the implant before the crown gets placed. The implant procedure took me only 15 mins per tooth. It was easy and pain free. I'm now eating happily again and it feels like it's my real tooth when eating. Other dentists takes forever to see or was too expensive, but this dentist was easy and give quality work.

Turns out, the dentist failed to remove one of my nerves, which meant I had to go through a root canal retreatment and get a new crown costing me another $1,000! To make things worse, the clinic is unprofessional, dirty, and poorly maintained. Water splashes all over your face from the dental equipment, and they clearly don't know what they're doing. To be real, this wasn't my first choice. I just went to them because my insurance assigned me. I also just went into it thinking I'd get my teeth taken care of and see what happens. I went through the whole process -- initial checkup, X-rays, and scheduling for a deep cleaning. During the checkup, an older Asian lady dentist came in, looked at my X-rays, and said, "Your cap is leaking. You need a new one, and also three root canals." I was shocked because I thought I was doing pretty well with my teeth, with the exception of consistently flossing. I went ahead and scheduled the deep cleaning for the following week, and once they ran my insurance, they gave me a list of the work that needed to be done, along with their prices. For all three root canals and a deep cleaning it totaled $2,300. The admin/billing lady didn't even know what the hell she was doing, as she gave me two random prices for both the top and the bottom root canals. I'll admit I waited a little while (1 month) to finally schedule the first root canal. I only scheduled it because I had started to feel a lot of pain and sensitivity in one of the affected teeth. I called the office and explained I was in pain and my tooth even started turning blue, and the girl said their first available appointment wasn't available until three weeks out. So then hesitantly I just took the appointment and just to kept telling myself (and others) That was just absurd how much they were charging me. In the mean time, I went and got a second opinion, and that dentist did a FULL mouth X-ray and scan. Guess what?! ONLY ONE ROOT CANAL WAS NEEDED! I'm glad to thow it in their faces that I got it done, and was treated WAYYY better than those Skonkas Sunshine Dental ever could have treated me. All this was said to pass on awareness on how this Shady Sunshine Dental was to me. If anyone with knowledge, knows how to request medical records from them please let me know.
