I felt the jacket and pants were slightly on the worn side- not bad, but not as crisp and sharp as I expected. I could see this was a rental by the way the sleeves and pant legs are altered. I haven't rented a tux in a long time, as I have had my own for many years, but sadly, I "outgrew" my most recent. So that is to say I've been spoiled by custom-fit tuxes since after I married 40+ years ago, until this one. Maybe I'm being too harsh? I will still recommend them, just be sure you go a day before you need the tux to pick it up in case it needs tweaking.

I was greeted politely and directed around the corner to the back, where the appraiser is located. That day, my interaction with that lady was uncomfortable. She had a condescending tone and a bad attitude. She even said one of my items was "jacked" and refused to take it. Overall, it felt like my presence was an inconvenience for her. Against my better judgment, I let her take the other items. Fast-forward about a week, and I decided to pay a small fee to retrieve my items from the store. Once again, I was promptly and warmly greeted by the store staff, who directed me to the appraiser again. It was the same appraiser that was present previously. Again, my presence is an inconvenience to her. I tell her why I'm there, and she tells me to go to the store portion. I tell her they directed me back here, so she calls the store staff via her phone and refers to me as a "little girl." I went back to the store portion and the same staff apologized for the miscommunication, and began helping me retrieve the items I had previously agreed to consign. The remainder of my interaction with her was very pleasant. It is quite disheartening writing a review like this, considering my only reason for doing so was the negative experiences I had with a single person.

I chose (2) outfits but, ended up only selecting one as the alteration process would've taken longer than I needed. I pointed out a few stains on the garment and the staff was very helpful in attempting to clean them before steaming and placing it in my car. When I arrived at the venue however I noticed that the outfit had many more stains, including the skirt -- everything from pen markings (standard alterations process) to dirt, debris, and food could be found on the outfit. I could not return the outfit since I was in a different city so, was very disappointed given the price (450$+). The lady helping me get dressed onsite said my dress had likely already been worn either in a show and/or purchased by someone else and resold. Pretty upsetting. All in all, the selection is vast but the prices start around 350$ so I would be optimistic yet cautious in purchasing from here.

I recently had the opportunity to rent a tux from Mister Tuxedo for a fundraiser. Overall, I was pleased with my experience. The business model is intelligent, and the materials on offer are in excellent condition. It's evident that the owners take great care in selecting and maintaining their clothing. One aspect that stood out was the efficiency of the fitting process. It was quick and attentive, and I got the correct measurements without any prolonged waiting. The process was smooth and hassle-free. The cost of my rental was less than other rental shops in the area that I've used in the past. It was refreshing to find rental formalwear at a fair price without compromising on style or quality. Unfortunately, the bearded gentleman who seems to be in charge of the shop could use some improvement in his interpersonal skills. While he wasn't overtly rude, I found his baseline demeanor unwelcoming in spite of being efficient. It would enhance the overall experience if he made an effort to be a little bit more friendly. A smile and congenial greeting doesn't cost anything, but can go a very long way towards creating a more positive atmosphere and greater customer satisfaction. Antonio walked me through the entire process of selecting everything I needed. Antonio listened to what I wanted, and he made suggestions that made things look great. I was shown everything and we found exactly what I needed. I was fitted and Antonio worked diligently to have it ready. I was treated so well. I had never had so many compliments on my look. The best part is that I am one of Antonio's customers now. When I lose the weight, I'm back to have my suit altered. I have made a great investment on something that looks fantastic and I am proud to wear. I will definitely be back and I plan on bringing my sons for a fitting. For you ladies, HD also has a women's clothing store that is equally hip and two doors down from the Men's store. The best time to visit HDs is right about NOW around Thanksgiving. He usually has a deal where each canned food item you bring in gets you 10% off an item up to 50%. And he starts doing a crazy sale around this time too where each day he gradually marks stuff down each day until he clears it out. One year, I bought this bad-ass jacket for like $40, and he threw in some sick pants for $10. The prices might seem high at first, but once you're a regular, you'll start getting some good deals.
