These guys were absolute life savers. Came to an event from out of state, and was notified the day before that it was black tie. All the other places required more advanced notice(which I understand ) but I had given up hope until I gave these guys a call and they told me it would be no issue - even if it was a same day event. Clearly came across as soon as we walked in that we seemed to be bothering the guy working. We came in for my fiancé to buy a custom suit. It was pulling teeth to understand the options. Where is the fabric to look at, what are our options, etc. He was trying to finish up with another customer, which is understandable but was rude, and even after that customer left didn't step in to assist. I had to get fitted for a tux that our wedding party in California were organizing. I popped into Mister Tuxedo to get fitted. There were 3 other families in front of me, but I was immediately approached and informed of the possible wait. I waited about 20 minutes and was helped during a free break he had while someone was trying their suit on. He was extremely helpful and had be fitted within 10 minutes. A wedding is a once in a lifetime occurrence and typically a decent tuxedo shop will respect that. Our party had a combination of issues: mismatched coats, too many broken button mishaps (I understand a few here and there but this was unacceptable), missing buttons, and deception from the owner. If you do decide to entrust this shop with your special day here, do a rigorous quality check on the clothes prior to the day.... and make sure you demand for slim cut despite what they say. Went to pick up my order for my WEDDDING to try on in store, and it's a damn good thing I did. The shirt initially did not fit so I asked to swap it out. The shirt I exchanged fit, but had a stain on the sleeve. So I swapped it again. This time they're was a tag on the collar. I explained to the gentleman, "Sir I am not trying to be picky, but this is my wedding, and this is unacceptable." After finally receiving a decent shirt I checked the shoes. Of course, they were fairly scuffed up. I asked for another pair, that was also scuffed. They didn't appear to carry any shoes that were in "good" shape I was very close to cancelling my order and I hope my frustrations were understood. They only received my business because I went through the trouble of finding a place online with great reviews for tuxedo rentals and I didn't wanna wear any suits to my wedding that I wear for work. The problem seems to be that the attire at Mister Tuxedo is either old, or far too frequently used. Sad. They need to overhaul the wardrobe they currently carry if they hope to satisfy future customers. read more
