    Crab plate

When you go to the beach and want fresh seafood this is what you want. Fresh off the boat literally. Everyone was very nice. They have a great outdoor eating area, no indoor so in bad weather maybe not the best choice. We had the crab plate and a bowl of the chowder. Everything was fresh and delicious. Also, the cocktail sauce is some of the best I've ever had.

Captain's Corner is a seafood paradise. Whether you're picking up a super fresh catch of the day to bring home or stopping in for some picnic-style nibbles with friends over a beer or a glass of wine, this is the place to go. The crab and oysters are fresh, and the storefront is packed with a diverse selection of seasonings, crackers, and smoked salmon spread. You can also pick up some clam chowder or frozen crab cakes, as well as other seafood delights that will surely excite your taste buds. The crew is a delightful, friendly bunch with a great sense of humor. We stopped by twice during our visit to take some savory treats home with us and again to enjoy some oyster shooters and smoked salmon spread.

Awesome for fresh steamed crab served with a side of garlicky butter and horseradishy cocktail sauce. Very nice staff and outside eating area on picnic tables with a nice view of the Garibaldi marina.

I was excited to see this place but unfortunately went an hour before close and they had no more clam chowder or salmon sandwiches. The lady was very nice but was disappointed due to wanting to experience the seafood. Definitely try to get there earlier but we saw a seal on the dock and the location was pretty neat. The place was small and had nice outside seating but no inside.

Pretty good selection. Nice service by the helpful staff. The chowder was fantastic!

The food was great! My family shared the oyster shooters, and I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich and a bowl of clam chowder. There was a bit of a wait even though the restaurant wasn't busy, but the staff was very kind and the views of the port were lovely. If I'm ever back in Garibaldi, I'll definitely return.

Great food and friendly people. Awesome prices and they even filled up my water bottle for the long drive back to Portland. Really great atmosphere and really makes you feel like you're a fisherman!

Captain's John seafood place in Garibaldi, OR has a great location right on the Garibaldi bay. Fresh seafood, specially large crabs just out of the water and fresh oysters. Friendly services and you can eat right in their pier. Gladly to recommend this place on my way down from Seattle to Santa Barbara.

Only negative is that it's on the marina and it gets chilly and there is no inside seating but you can't get fresher Seafood or better prices. I had three oyster shooters and a bowl of the clam chowder which was about 1/3 clams! People working there are extremely friendly and seem happy at their jobs and it shows in the quality of the food.

This location is an absolute must!! We come here every single time we visit. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Their chowder is, hands down, the best!! Filled with clams and goodies. I LOVE their Saturday Steamer Clam special with the locally made Rosemary Roll & we can't forget the delish crab cocktails and oyster shooters! They have a terrific menu of fresh made food to eat but they also carry fresh locally caught seafood to take home as well! You absolutely have to come here! Oh and we can't forget their selection of beers sodas etc. at an exceptional price, and the view is pretty magnificent too!

Went in and bought some fresh rockfish that was excellent. Their home made tartar sauce is phenomenal!

It screamed Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve, or Kellerman Resort (Dirty Dancing) with the wood paneling, historic photos and memorabilia on the walls. The booths/tables are large and spacious. The view is Pacific Northwest perfection. We spent a large chunk of our breakfast watching boats, people fishing, and crabbing. It did take a moment to be acknowledged or seated, but it is worth the wait. I think they only had one very sweet host, and she was also taking orders, and running food. I ordered the coconut french toast (half order), and a side of the crispiest bacon. I also order crispy bacon, but rarely does a location truly get it right. There tends to be floppy flaccid parts, and flaccid is never a preference, especially when it comes to crispy bacon. This bacon was crisped to perfection. The french toast was very good, but quite sweet. I couldn't have handled more than a half order. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak, with a side of biscuits and gravy. He annihilated his. We appreciated all that Pirate's Cove had to offer, and will return should we find ourselves in the Rockaway/Garibalidi area.
