My family went to Las Vegas for a trip to see the Grand Canyon and found Garionban through a quick search of nearby Korean restaurants. We were particularly interested in their combos meat menu items that look so appetizing on their menu and from patrons pictures. Being a huge Korean food fan, I had to order everything. We were pleased with everything we tried. The seafood pancake was delicious. The corn cheese and the kimchi fried rice was a hit with the kids. There was plenty of parking when we visited for early dinner. My only complaint was our server being a little less than friendly. So happy to have dined here. It's definitely a hidden gem. The decor is beautiful and the workers are so friendly. Always smiling which I like. Food: Medium Size - Marinated Steamed Short Rib aka Galbi Jjim Beef Tofu Soup Fry Dumplings Omg!!! I love Korean Food and these dishes made me a happy lady. The only missing was cucumber kimchi but that's just preference. The Short Rib was so tender and very flavorful. The soup was an added touch and different taste from the shortrib that made it sooo good. I enjoyed the ban chan and we asked for me of the radish and jap chae. Beef tofu soup, which is their version of Sundubu jjigae was extremely tasty. We have been there 3x the last 10 days. Love the brand of silken tofu they use. Soup has a lot of flavor, not too spicy either. I love that the bulgogi had a lot of veggies in it. Kalbi had a good balanced flavor as well. Sometimes you get kalbi at other places and a bit too salty, this was not the case here. Have recommended this place to friends and family. Came here for an early dinner around 5:00. We got seated right away with cold ice water served. Ordered the #17 which is spicy octopus and jokbal combo. You can choose bossam or non marnated jokbal. I got the medium spice marinated jokbal (pig trotters) and regretted not getting it a bit more spicier. Food os great, the food had a smokey smell, 불향, and it was perfect. The price is reasonable too - 58.99(?) for this. We didnt eat rice since the octopus comes with noodles but you can get a bowl of rice. We ended up finishing half and brought the rest home. There was a power outage during the meal but luckily it came back on within seconds. Also, they were playing my fave band Day6 and Nflying so i was bopping thru my whole meal. The seafood tofu soup was just the perfect amount of seafood that were the right size as both shrimp and mussels and calamari and the taste was just so authentic and heartwarming. Many things did not go very well from their call button not working or if it was, they were ignoring me. And it took FOREVER to get anyone's attention. I really liked: Beef Noodle Rib Garionban is a solid Korean spot with one of the better beef noodle soups I've had in Vegas. The rib meat is tender and flavorful, the broth is rich and comforting, and I finished every drop. Glass noodles have the right bounce, and the ribbon egg adds a nice touch. They serve great banchan here, all fresh and nicely varied. The space itself is clean and thoughtfully designed. There's plenty of room for groups, and the tables are sturdy with built-in utility slots that actually make a difference. They keep it cool inside too, which is a blessing in the Vegas heat. My party of 5 visited on a weekday for lunch. Throughout our meal, there were only 3 tables max, but there was only one employee working the entire storefront. As a result, service was lackluster, but we felt bad for the employee. As for the food, they have a decent lunch combo, with a "bogo" option of a protein and a soup. Most of us got a tofu soup, but we all agreed that the soup was rather bland. The bossam was delicious, and included in the lunch menu, so definitely worth the price. We also ordered a seafood pancake for the table, but unfortunately the center was not crispy and fell apart. Had a bossam craving and Garionban checked the boxes. I ordered the medium bossam, and it was just enough for two people. The pork was tender, and it came with all the necessary banchan. The set felt a little bare, but still satisfying. That said, I consider Kobawoo House in Ktown, LA the gold standard for bossam. There, you get napa cabbage for wrapping, which adds a nice touch. Garionban only served theirs with green leaf lettuce and radish, so it felt like something was missing in comparison. I came around 6:30pm on a Sunday evening, no wait, and about half the place was filled. The space is clean, modern, and nicely lit. A chill vibe for a casual dinner without the chaos of a packed spot. What really caught my attention was the spicy bulgogi at a nearby table. It smelled amazing. Came here on a weekend night. The parking lot was full, but it wasnt busy. We were seated right away (2 people). At first, staff was very attentive. We ordered appetizers and our food. They brought out our waters. Only one group of 6 had come in and were seated after we placed our order for food. Our appetizer came out, we ordered the potstickers and it tasted good. We then waited. We noticed that the group of 6 had gotten all of their food before we got our food despite us ordering our food before they ever arrived. Everyone else in the restaurant had already been served, and as mentioned it wasnt busy. Not sure if the lady working was the manager or owner, but she seemed to know the party of 6 because since then, her focus was serving them and we were ignored. We waited about 35 minutes before we asked our the status of our order since the party of 6 had gotten ALL of their food already. They apologized and said it would be out shortly. After waiting about a total of 45-50 minutes our food was coming out. Did the food taste good, yes. However our short ribs were mostly burned on one side. So all of the burned sides were face down on the tray and the side that was cooked well was facing up. Was the service good, no. Even when we asked for boxes so we can pack up the rest of our food to take (we ordered well over $100 wanting to try the different items they had), the same lady brought the box out only to talk to the table of 6 for a few minutes before handing us our boxes. We sat right across from the group so we saw everything. We were pretty unhappy about the service and feeling like our business wasnt worth anything to them. They offered a free can of soda to compensate for their lack of service and our wasted time. Not even 2 sodas, just 1 soda can comped. Needless to say we won't go back. Parking was too crowded. Had to park in the establishment next door. Service was horrible Food was good, but not good enough to compensate for their lack of service. I've never actually dined in, I always get takeout or delivery, and it's never let me down.
