Gung Chae was a random dinner choice as we walked around Town Square. It was an early dinner for us on a Sunday, so the restaurant wasn't very busy. Our party of 7 was seated at the high top table by the front. They provided four kinds of banchan that were tasty and do include free refills. * Grilled Pork Belly $23.99 - Served with a bowl of rice and typical condiments of raw garlic, jalapeños, ssamjang? and sesame oil. It was good, a little on the thinner side though. * Steamed Egg $12.99 - It was eaten up. * Beef Bulgogi Hot Stone Pot Bibimbap $20.99 - Although this was the Husband's dish, the Little Gal couldn't stop eating it and definitely wants more dolsot bibimbap in her life. * Clams Kalguksu $19.99 - This hot noodle dish was good, but the Little Guy didn't realize it was a bunch of little clams. In retrospect, he wished he got the beef version for more protein. Our friend got the Beef Bulgogi $23.99 and I guess it was his first time having it because he kept on raving about it and said it was so good. So, I guess that's a good thing! Since it was relatively empty, it was just the lone waiter and he was pretty attentive. I do think the prices were a bit high, but I guess it's what to expect at Town Square.

EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!! It felt like we were in Korea!!! My favorite was the hot pot bulgoggi bibimbap and the corn. The kalguksu was also delicious . . The seafood pancaie had a lot of seafood and it was crispy and not oily. . Lychee Soju highball was a nice treat!!! Soondooboo was also really tasty!!! The only thing missing was tteobokki! Service was really efficient and nice!!! Checkout the bathroom!!!

Have been to the Eastern location before as well as this one a while ago. We had came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Was surprisingly decently busy, especially since they were short staffed to only 1 waiter. He did really well keeping up with everything. We got their lunch special (11a - 3p). We've tried their HOT STONE POT BIBIMBAP previously. In regards to timing (and price), we decided to get the normal BIBIMBAP (~$2/off from regular dinner? menu vs lunch) I had got the SPICY PORK whereas my friend had got the CHICKEN (SPICY) 4 banchan (side dishes) came out quickly consisting of fish cake, soy bean sprouts, kimchi, and a salad. Our food arrived 15 minutes later. For the first time, the rice was SEPARATE from the BIBIMBAP. Usually the rice is on the bottom of the bowl and all the toppings are placed on top. No matter. Added the rice. The gochujang sauce comes in a bottle so you can put as much as you want as well. After a thorough mixing, i realized this was a HUGE portion (way bigger than their stone pot version, unless portion size has changed on that one as well). Lots of bean sprouts, cucumber/zuchinni, carrots, lettuce, seaweed, fernbrake topped with the spicy pork. I was able to finish mine (barely) but my friend had about 1/2 left in hers, which she packed in a box. Last time the AC wasn't on so it was muggy, humid, and warm. I dont remember what time of the year it was. This time, the AC was blasting !

I'm so glad we found this place! I don't really have much experience eating Korean food and this place has a good variety. We came here for lunch and they have a nice lunch special menu. We were greeted and seated immediately on a weekend. Service was all around great! Roomy but modern, clean atmosphere. I ended up ordering the tuna kimbap as well as the seafood stew. Both were good portions and filled me up! Reasonable prices as well. Can't wait to come back in the future!

We came and ordered bulgogi bibimbap, cold noodles, and japchae. Along with corn silk tea and crushed pear punch. I really enjoyed everything except the cold noodles. Mind you I've never had cold noodles and wanted to try it for the first time here and I was disappointed. In the cold noodles was pork and it was such a small amount of meat for I think $18.99 it was overpriced in my opinion. But I did enjoy everything else like the crushed pear punch, that was refreshing and delicious. The japchae was flavorful. My friend ordered the other dishes I mentioned and she enjoyed it. What won me over was their side dishes. The server would refill them whenever we're low and my favorite was the bean spouts and kimchi!! Our service was good, there was a time when we didn't see our server to get the check but we were patient. I love the ambiance it's clean with ample amount of seating and the location at town square is great since it's surrounding a lot of other shops. We did notice that there was fish inside the little water display up front which was cute. Will definitely come back to try something new (:

Food was amazing! Had enough to take home. Service was exceptionally great! And loved the cool vibes. Definitely recommend! Went around 1pm on Tuesday, not busy at all.

My teenage daughter and I found this place and we were HUNGRY and excited for authentic Korean food. The interior was such a vibe - relaxing, calm, and clean. Very inviting. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. We ordered and our food came out quickly. My daughter ordered the hot pot and I offered the bibimbop - both were fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back next time we are in Vegas!!

Great place for dinner! The restaurant is very clean, our server was incredibly nice, and the food was fantastic. I tried the hot dog banchan--I've never had that combination before, but it is really good! The short ribs were also amazing and cooked perfectly. Definite 5 stars, I'll absolutely be back!

First time coming here, we were craving Korean food. We ordered the seafood soft tofu soup, the grilled pork belly, and a short rib beef soup. The service was great and efficient. They sat us down right away, brought water, and offered the menu. While we were ordering the waiter also informed us that happy hour will start in about 20 minutes, if we want to order from that menu a little later, which was nice. We waited to order our alcoholic beverage when the happy hour started. The ambiance was nice. The food was delicious! My favorite was the seafood soft tofu soup and the grilled pork belly.

The food overall was very delicious, and everything was served piping hot, which made a big difference. My boys really enjoyed the meal. Our server was especially accommodating--she was flexible with my request to have just one egg and kindly placed it in the stone pot bibimbap instead of the hot soup. The interior is also very nice--comfortable with a lively atmosphere. Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend it.

I have looked for real Korean food since living in Seoul for 8 years. I finally found it! The kimbap, soon du bu, and nengmyun were just like being back on the Han river! I felt like being home again. Every time I come to Vegas, I will be stopping here for the Korean food I can't find anywhere else. Side note: Imo was super nice and even spoke Spanish to my date! 3 languages for the win! The k-pop also made the place feel like being back in Korea.

It's definitely a cool laid back vibe and for two people who don't even drink it was still an enjoyable visit. We decided two split 4 items from the Happy Hour menu (worth the discounts by the way). Again neither of us drink but they kept our water glasses full without issue. We ordered the arancini, lobster tacos, bruschetta (salmon, caprese, and prosciutto, and then the dragon shrimp tempura. It took about 15 minutes for the arancini to come out, 4 more minutes for the bruschetta, another minute for the lobster tacos, and about 5 more minutes for the dragon shrimp tempura. We decided to wait until we had all of it for pics and for splitting. The arancini was flavorful and dipping it in the sauce was chef's kiss. The lobster tacos were flavorful; I can see why my friend craved them and why she said she could eat 6. The bruschetta were of okay size. Our favorite was the salmon, then the caprese. The prosciutto was fine, just nothing special. The dragon shrimp tempura was also flavorful although I wish the crispy rice bottom was just a crisped rice patty and not tempura style. All in all it was an enjoyable experience. Servers were friendly and kept us hydrated. Overall, not a bad price point for the amount of quality food.

My family made a reservation because they wanted to celebrate my birthday, so I was really looking forward to it. When it is your birthday, even a small detail feels a little more important. You want the night to feel special, smooth, and happy from the beginning. Unfortunately, when we arrived, there seemed to be a small issue with the reservation, and the table we were given was much smaller than expected. Since we were there as a family for a birthday dinner, it felt uncomfortable at first. I have to be honest -- my mood was not great in the beginning. It was one of those moments where you think, "Oh no, is this how the night is going to start?" But then the food started coming out, and Hachi completely turned the night around. The first thing that changed my mood was the beer. The draft beer was served in an unbelievably icy-cold mug. It was not just cold -- it looked and felt like it had come straight out of a freezer. The foam was smooth, the beer was crisp, and the first sip was so refreshing that I almost forgot I had been upset a few minutes earlier. That beer alone deserves applause. Sometimes a perfect cold beer can fix a whole mood, and this one absolutely did. The biggest highlight of the night was the tuna toro. It was incredible. The texture was so soft and delicate that it almost felt like cotton candy melting in my mouth. Rich, buttery, fresh, and so smooth. It was the kind of bite that makes everyone at the table stop talking for a second. We loved it so much that we ordered it three times. Ordering the same dish three times says everything. It was not a maybe. It was not a "let's think about it." It was a clear yes every time. The skewers were also very good. The grilled meats had a nice smoky flavor, and they were seasoned well without being too salty. They paired perfectly with the icy beer. But the shrimp skewer was especially memorable. The shrimp had that perfect bouncy, juicy texture. It was grilled nicely, still tender, and full of natural sweetness. Some grilled shrimp can become dry or forgettable, but this one had personality. Small skewer, big impact. We also enjoyed several other izakaya-style dishes. The grilled shishito peppers with bonito flakes were simple but delicious, and they helped balance out the richer dishes. The grilled squid had a great smoky flavor and a chewy texture that went so well with beer. These are exactly the kinds of dishes that make izakaya dining so fun -- one bite, one sip, one more bite, and suddenly the table is full of happy people. The sashimi platter was fresh and beautifully served over ice. There was a nice variety, including tuna, salmon, white fish, scallop, and ikura. Everything looked clean and fresh, and the presentation made it feel even more enjoyable. But honestly, the toro was the star. I will probably remember that toro for a long time. My daughter ordered tonkatsu, and that was also a huge hit. Sometimes at restaurants like this, kids' dishes can feel like an afterthought, but this tonkatsu was really good. It was crispy, flavorful, and satisfying. Seeing my daughter enjoy her food made my birthday dinner even better. As a mom, when your child eats well and is happy, the whole meal suddenly feels more peaceful. That is just the truth. Overall, Hachi started with a little frustration because of the reservation issue and the small table, but the food and drinks completely saved the night. The icy-cold beer, the amazing tuna toro, the juicy shrimp skewer, and the tonkatsu were all memorable. The food was strong enough to make us forget the rough beginning, and by the end of the meal, we were all happy. Las Vegas has so many flashy restaurants, but Hachi has that casual, comfortable izakaya charm. It is the kind of place where you order many small dishes, share with the table, drink something cold, and let the night slowly become fun. I would definitely come back next time I am in Las Vegas. Next time, I already know what I am ordering first: an icy-cold beer and tuna toro. And honestly, I may order the toro twice from the beginning, because one order is definitely not enough.

Well I'm happy to say that A Different Beast was an incredible dining experience and honestly, one of the best values I've found in Vegas, especially for food at this level. We did the highest-tier all-you-can-eat menu for $65, and I was genuinely blown away by both the quality and the variety. A few specialty items are limited to one per person, but the majority of the menu can be reordered, and there are SO many things to try that you absolutely will not leave hungry. The tapas are intentionally small. a beautifully composed bite for each person at the table, which makes it feel much more like an elevated tasting experience than a traditional AYCE restaurant. And almost everything we tried was a hit. The foie gras was incredible and something I had never tried before. The burnt plum tart is PHENOMENAL. Do yourself a favor and order more than one. We also loved the queso de manchego, filet mignon, scallop ceviche, toro crudo, patatas bravas, and ensalada de naranjas. The spring peas with rose cream were another standout. Every dish felt thoughtful, fresh, layered, and genuinely interesting. Even visually, each plate felt like a little work of art. Dessert was just as good. We tried the Basque cheesecake and the cremeux helado de chocolate blanco, which was this delicious white-chocolate custard-like dessert with toasted marshmallow on top. Both were excellent. What impressed me most was the consistency. It's rare to order this many different dishes and not have a few misses, but there truly wasn't anything we disliked. You can tell they're using high-quality ingredients and putting real thought, creativity, and care into every bite. The service was impeccable as well. Everyone was attentive without being intrusive, and because it's AYCE, that matters. We never had to sit around trying to flag someone down when we wanted to reorder something. The restaurant was also very clean and the entire experience felt polished from beginning to end. If this exact meal and experience were on the Strip, I could easily imagine paying hundreds of dollars for it. Instead, you're getting an extremely elevated, creative and interesting tasting experience in Chinatown for $65. In this economy, finding that combination of quality AND value feels almost unheard of. I also loved how interactive the meal became. Because you're constantly trying new flavors and textures, everyone at the table naturally starts talking about each dish...what they loved, what surprised them, what they want another round of. In a world where everyone is constantly staring at their phones, there was something really refreshing about a meal that actually created conversation and became an experience in itself. I've already recommended A Different Beast to a ton of people, and I'll continue to. If you enjoy trying new things and appreciate creative, beautifully executed food, GO. This place really is a different beast.

I came specifically for the foie gras, which required purchasing the $65 premium AYCE option, nearly $100 after tax and tip. This was the one meal on my trip I had specifically planned to splurge on, so I was especially disappointed. I understand the small toast since these are pintxos, but the foie gras was far too rich for such a tiny piece of bread and lacked the flavor and accompaniments that usually help balance and elevate the dish. It tasted overwhelmingly rich and almost bacon-like, to the point that I couldn't finish it. The corn elote and mini patatas bravas were easily our favorites. I also enjoyed the crab pintxo and plum tart, although the crab was fairly generic rather than particularly memorable. For $65, I expected considerably more. Three days later, I'm still disappointed that my splurge meal ended up being an AYCE experience where we genuinely enjoyed so few of the dishes. Great service, but unfortunately the food quality and value just weren't there for us.
