Munchyroad makes excellent Korean street food! You'll find them on Flamingo and Jones, next to Chickpeas Mediterranean Cafe. There's plenty of parking. Inside is bright, clean, and inviting with a relaxing atmosphere, great seating, and good music. Ambience is casual and laid back with sounds of instrumental jazz playing in the background, setting a vibe that's so peaceful and calm. I enjoy kimbap, it's always a great option for light, healthy, and nutritious snack, has fresh ingredients, a generous portion, and is very filling! I had Chamchi Kimbap ($12.99) which is delicious with tuna mayo packed with carrots, egg, veggie root, spinach, and pickled radish, so good! Japchae Fried Mandu (4 pieces, $10.99) is also good! Dumpling is fried light and crispy, it's filled with stir-fried glass noodles and veggies, and served with a tasty dipping sauce, yum! The owner makes good Cappuccino ($3.99), it's delightful and she adds a lovely sweetness topped with milk foam, really good! Service is wonderful and exceptional! WOW Some of the best Korean food I've ever had and in Vegas of all places?!? Tucked in a giant strip mall is this gem of a spot. The lady inside is so sweet and the food that comes out is so fire. Kimchi was that perfect blend of sour, sweet and fermented. The kimbap with bulgogi is easily the best I've ever had. The veggies and egg and beef are so tender it literally melts. Came here for the first time this afternoon by the recommendation of my cousin. Upon entering, there was a good amount of tables inside for both small and big parties. When my family and I got there, there was 1 other table. The menu had a lot of options but we ordered the Jja Jang Myeon, Rose Tteokbokki and Korean Street Style Toasted Sandwich. The food came out quickly. We first tried the sandwich and I thought it was simple but delicious. The cheese was melted and the combination of the flavor inside was good. The noodle dishes were a decent size portion that filled us! Between the two, I definitely enjoyed the Rose Tteokbokki. It wasn't too spicy and the flavor hit the spot. The service was very quick and the lady who assisted us was very attentive with the kimchi, radish, and refilling our waters. I've been meaning to check this place out for a while. Lots of good reviews. Cute little restaurant. Seems to be Korean owned and run, so points for authenticity. Very friendly auntie took my order. She won me over. I wasn't super hungry, and was on my way somewhere, so I just ordered the bulgogi kimbab. Please click on my picture. This thing was at least 50% bigger than your average kimbab. And IYKYK, each component of a kimbab should be marinated/seasoned individually but still be balanced. And not too much rice. They hit every mark. One small critique is I'm used to getting a little extra pickled radish on the side because it can get a little dry on its own. But this won't stop me from getting it again next time. I'm so glad I finally tried Munchroad!!! I had heard amazing things from my Fiancé about how it feels like real Korean mom's cooking, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. This was some of the freshest and most comforting Korean food I've had everything is made to order, and you can really taste the difference. Their open kitchen concept is so cool too because you can see how much care they put into every dish. We ended up ordering a ton of food because everything looked so good, and every single thing we tried was incredible. The kimbop here? Hands down the best I've ever had!! so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly rolled. Looked like something out of a cooking show or movie. Plus, the portion sizes are really generous, which made it even better. On top of all that, the owners are so friendly and welcoming. You can feel the pride they have in their food and it just makes the whole experience even better. Munchroad is officially my new favorite Korean spot in Vegas. This deliciousness is hidden in a strip mall across from the Emerald Post Office. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly by staff and given excellent recommendations. I ordered the lunch box with the fried chicken, which was perfectly crispy with a finger licking good sauce and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. All the other items were just the perfect counterpoint to the chicken within the lunch box. But perhaps the thing that I'd go back for is the Bulgogi Kimbab, which was perfectly rolled and the flavors were so balanced. It was also a good value for the cost provided. Very fun with lots of goodies but not for me. Nothing really stood out to want to repeat, or try a different protein. $17.99 Stir fried squid in spicy sauce. Not for us. Yes gochujang sauce usually is in like everything. But this one was very heavy in it. You need a lot of rice to be eaten with this. $15.99 Rabokki (rice and fish cake saucey ramen dish). I've had army soup, but never got this before. Definitely a sweet hefty junk food to chow down. The tteok-bokk (rice cakes) were super soft. It's not a tteok-bokki dish so the taste is different, very sweet. For Korean comfort, healthier, fast food eaters, this is not the place haha BUT great for those who love modern Korean junk food, or bar like food but without the bar. Was on the hunt for Korean fried chicken one night and decided to stop into Munchyroad. This spot is a little mom and pop shop with a lot of hospitality. We ordered the fried chicken in sweet and sour sauce and the tuna kimbab. Though the fried chicken wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it was still good and flavorful. They are boneless chicken, a bit on the small end, but it satisfied the craving. The tuna kimbab was good, too. The pieces were big and filling. Our waters were always full. At the end of our meal, we were given an orange cut up in equal parts. I'm not sure if it was a friendly gesture or custom for everyone who dines. New favorite Korean spot! Where do I start? The customer service is top-notch. From greeting to order taking and attending to our needs in such a sweet manner. It really brings me back to Korea. I feel like I'm back in my home country. The restaurant is clean, beautiful, and cozy. We ordered the jjajangmyeun (Black Bean Noodles), tansuyuk (sweet & sour pork), and strawberry smoothie. Portions are nice and enough to share. Jjajangmyeun had so much flavor, and actually tasted like jjajangmyeun and not lacking any flavor. I wanted to mix rice with the leftover sauce for jjajang bap. I really haven't ever had Korean food, like authentic at a Korean restaurant food. Or if I have, it's been forever and I'm not entirely sure. So when a friend/coworker was in town, we decided to hit up this place since it's on our Top 50 Places to Eat! The business that was here before was strictly catering. And now it's a super cute sit down restaurant. The entire family owns and operates it and all the food is family recipes! It doesn't get much more special than that!!!! We came in and got to chat to the owner and her husband and her brother and sister... so special that the entire family is involved and really made me love it that much more. Truly a family run business. Like Doriee L said, they don't have any social media. And again, I think that makes me love them more. Their focus really is just on the food and that is so incredibly special. And it shows! The owner continued to bring us out even things we didn't order, and I thought that was so kind. She just wanted us to try it. They were also SO excited about being on the Top 50 list. I thought that was so sweet. Hopefully I won't fully butcher everything we ordered, but it was alllll sooooo good. My favorite was the toast she brought us out. It was AMAZING! SOOO delicious. I really enjoyed that. We also ordered Tteok Kkochi and that was really tasty, too. I loved that everything was definitely Korean style street food. Felt more casual for sure. If I lived in Vegas I would eat here every week. I even asked the owner if her and her family would move to Arizona and open up a Munchyroad there instead. Lols Munchyroad is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The woman who greeted the kids and I, also took our order, helped make the food and was our server. This is a family run business and she was so nice and welcoming, I felt like I was coming to eat at my imo's jib (Korean auntie's house). They specialize in Korean street food. Everything on the menu looked yummy. I had a hard time choosing but knew I wanted to Korean toast for sure because no Korean restaurants in Arizona offers that. I let the kids choose the rest - rose tteokbokki, kkoma kimbap, and chicken katsu. Everything was delicious, the kids loved it all. There's something great about finally trying some spots off-Strip after a couple of mid food court experiences. We were craving some Korean street food and found this spot on Yelp! It wasn't crowded at all on this weekday, and there was probably one other table. The menu was quite big, with a great selection of Kimbaps, noodle dishes, and tteokbokki. The staff was super kind in explaining which were the best, so we settled on a kimbap and original tteokbokki. It came out altogether, and quite quickly! The taste of everything was great, and I especially loved how LARGE the kimbap was. The tteokbokki had a great flavor and spice level too, with good portions of fish cake and rice cake. Last night in Vegas and I was craving Korean snacks for dinner. I visited the restaurant with my boyfriend and his mom (Korean) so I was banking on this being a good choice and I was right. :) I wanted to take this restaurant back with me to L.A. Prices are slightly pricey but the servings and food quality are up to par. Food - I wish I could eat all of it now. *Tteok kochi- I wanted to eat more but my stomach wouldn't let me. Honestly, everything we ordered was delicious and my craving was beyond satisfied. *Bulgogi kimbap - The staff was nice enough to remove the egg and serve it on the side (I don't eat eggs but my boyfriend insisted on eating it as a protein). It has more meat than it does rice so I loved it! I took half back to the hotel. *Cheese Katsu - my boyfriend's mom scarfed it all down. :) *Jajjangmyeon and tangsuyuk - Not pictured but we all enjoyed it! Visited again this week and I'm glad I went again! I had to get the jolmyeon again but we tried new items such as the cheese tonkatsu and their Korean toast sandwich. Everything was so good!!!! The jolmyeon never disappoints. Chewy noodles, perfect spice and sweetness, and so refreshing. The cheese pull on the tonkatsu was so satisfying! It was flavorful and the pickles on the side was so delicious too. Lastly the sandwich was elite 10/10. The filling and flavor was so good, I would definitely just ask for it more toasted next time. This was a tasty if simple Korean dining experience. The interior is very plain but cute with artistic wall decor. Tables are basic, and there is no booth seating. Staff were very friendly. The ordering system is unique. You order and pay at a counter instead of with a server at the table. There is a premium - I think it was 4% - to pay with a credit card. That is disappointing in today's increasingly cashless society. They do not have alcohol, and soft drinks are served in a can rather than a soda fountain. We tried the fried dumplings which were tasty and are filled with japchae noodles. I also had the tonkatsu lunch box which is available all day including dinner time. It features a variety of smaller portions of items including the pork tonkatsu, gyoza, fried rice, and a "salad" (a few pieces of lettuce and dressing). The pork was very tender and fluffy and reminiscent of the cloud like pork tonkatsu at the amazing Saboten restaurant. The other items in the box were ok and nothing too special. For dessert we tried the honey nut "hotteok" pancake. This was very tasty and not overly sweet. A very pleasant ending to the meal. This was overall a tasty albeit simple meal. read more

The bento had fried rice, bulgogi, green salad, fried chicken, and mandu. The fried rice was sooo good. The japchae was equally delicious. We were shopping at Ikea and I was so hungry after walking so much lol Unfortunately my bf was not hungry so I didn't get to order all the things I wanted to try and they were out of their steamed dumplings because it's one of their best sellers. I did get to try their rabokki and it was the perfect balance of sweet and spicy! Just like when other Yelpers discover new restaurants open up in the Vegas valley, I too need to try it immediately. Korean food is already available and plenty, which means, how is Munchyroad going to stick out? For me, it's the first time I ever had to help a restaurant carry their cooking equipment in. Must have been in the soft-opening stage still? I remember the hugeee tteokbokki dish I had in S. Korea and still think about it to this day. The tteokbooki dish I had here was a good size and tasted good but didn't really transport me back to Busan where I had the best version. I noticed on the menu that they had a lot of the other street foods I love too and I wish Munchy had combo's because I had to order a whole plate of the mandu because it pairs so well with the tteokbokki sauce. The staff was shocked when they deliverd the mandu and saw how I immediately tossed it on top of the tteokbokki. That's just how I had it in S. Korea. So I ordered the tteokbokki, mandu, and gimbap. It is a clear broth that is rich and savory. The noodles have a great chewy texture that pairs nicely with all the other toppings like egg, tofu, seaweed, and some kind of squash. The mandu dumplings are big, juicy, and flavorful! The Kkoma kimbap is a great appetizer! It's a nice little rice roll filled with veggies and fish cake and is paired with a wasabi-like dipping sauce. Great texture! The Dakgangjeong (Korean sweet and spicy fried chicken nuggets) bento box has a great variety and is a pretty big portion! It comes with the main entree, deep fried pot stickers, a chicken wing, fried rice, salad, and japchae noodles. Everything was flavorful and fresh. This place is beyond words incredible. Family style korean home cooking at its finest honestly. The restaurant is quaint and the staff here is super friendly. I haven't been to a korean restaurant that made their dishes so well in quite some time until my best friends introduced me to this place. The rabboki was light and delicious in taste and texture of the rice cakes and noodles were perfect with the light broth. The jajangmyun was delicious and the sauce was savory and had delicious veggies with the noodles beautifully enriched by the flavors of the jajang. The tangsuyak was crispy and tender with a rich sweet and sour sauce that complemented the pieces well! The street toast was not overly sweet and the flavor honestly reminded me of toast I had back in Korea. The spicy squid bokkeum was delicious with a perfect blend of veggies and a sweet heat. Munchyroad has been open for about 3 weeks now. They're located on Flamingo and Jones (where JP used to be). Aside from Yelp and Google, they don't have any other social media outlets. You won't find them on TikTok or Instagram. I originally found out about them while scrolling through Yelp on "Hot and New Restaurants." My husband and I decided to give them a try on Friday night. Since they are new, it wasn't busy. When you walk in, it feels very homey and cute! You'll have to order your food up front and take a seat, which is cafeteria style. Munchyroad actually reminds me a lot of the eateries in a food court in Seoul. My husband and I decided to share a few dishes: Jjajangmyeon (black bean sauce with noodles) - This was very yummy! They actually mix the noodles with the sauce before serving it to you, which is pretty awesome. It came with kimchi and radish. Tip: if you like spicy, I would recommend taking this to-go and then adding buldak sauce into it. Toast (Korean street toast) - When we visited Seoul, street toasts were pretty popular. They typically cook the egg with carrots, green onions, etc. and put it all together with cabbage, cheese, and a slightly sweet sauce. At Munchy road, I think they omit the cabbage so you'll be left with a cheesy, eggy, and slightly sweet sandwich. It was great! Kal mandu guksu (knife cut noodles with dumplings) - Kalguksu is found virtually everywhere in Korea. I've been a bit sadden that I rarely find a good one here. But! Munchyroad's kal mandu guksu is very comforting. It comes out piping out with two giant dumplings. It was very good -- the soup is light and the seaweed/tofu adds a great flavorful element to it as a whole. I enjoyed every dish that we had. I'm so glad that they opened up! Such a shame! We came here to support this business due to the great reviews, but upon arrival the door was locked. We came at noon and saw workers inside, but no one came out to let us know if they were open or close, not even a hand signal of some sort. Instead, they gave us a dismissive look and carried on doing whatever it was that they were doing. It was so off-putting that we left. Clearly, you can see by my photo, the hours of operation, it shows opening time at 10:30. Hence, I'm a bit baffled as we wasted our time driving here just to not be greeted. I can't comment on their food because we didn't even get to try it. My husband was looking forward to their street sandwich, so that's a bummer. The location of this restaurant is in a small plaza. There weren't any other options here that I wanted to try, so we had to look for another restaurant nearby. We found Shang Artisan Noodles instead which is down the street. Hopefully, other yelpers do not encounter the same mistreatment we did here, my rating is one star solely based on customer service due to not being greeted and the misinformation of hours of operation. This place had been on my list for a while and we needed a spot for lunch on a Saturday, so Yelp to the rescue and we ended up at Munchyroad. We were sat immediately, but needed to request a table change because one of my kids had fallen asleep lol. Although they moved us, they seemed rather reluctant for some reason. Anyway, since this is a small establishment with only like 3 workers we could see, it took a while for them to take our order. The food... okay, I'm not sure if this was an off day or something, but everything that came out tasted like it was partially made from frozen premade food and the portion sizes were not enough for the prices they charged. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos because I had a sleeping babe in my arms, but here's the quick rundown: - the rabokki which is supposed to be tteokbokki with ramen noodles was actually ramen with a few pieces of rice cake (tteok) added... strange and not what you'd expect since this dish is pretty popular for Korean street food - the bento boxes were unimpressive and very mediocre, but still eatable - the japchae (I didn't taste) looked fine and my MIL said it was good, so no comments there Overall, I wouldn't go back. Just left there. Highest rating on quality, service, and ambiance. By far the best Korean food I've had. Love everything we ordered. Jap chase, Katsu box, bulgogi box, and rolls(see photos) my husband enjoyed everything about this place. You can literally taste the freshness. This will be me and family's new spot.
