Preston's automotive service gave us a set price $1155 to fix the ABS issue. Give us a 100% confidence They could complete the job. When the repair was made , we were told that was going to be a upcharge of $300 to complete the job they do not have the software to update the ABS module we would need to find somebody to complete the job. The ABS module needed to be program the The shop should heve told us this before they started job . Obviously there was a mistake made.The shop did not realize the ABS module needed to be program at that point, the shop should have corrected the issue for the customer Obviously the shop does not have the software to update the ABS module So now we have a ford SUV still broken down not safe to drive it with our kids inside My question is, why would you offer a repair to a vehicle? If you're not able to program ABS module. Feel free to reach out to me.We would like a full refund so we can go to a another mechanic to complete the job as of now.The vehicle is not drivable or safe to drive.

I booked only a few days in advance for a state inspection, and was in and out in 25 minutes for a grand total of $16. No hassle, no upselling, just pleasant interactions with a polite employee in a comfortable waiting room before going on with my day. In comparison, last year I went elsewhere and had to schedule weeks in advance. I was promised the inspection would take 30 minutes only to be left waiting at the dealership for 3 hours. And despite passing inspection I still had to go through the gauntlet of rude sales reps pushing me to spend more than $2000 on unnecessary services. Never again!
