Dirt in my salad.. so gross

I found dirt in my salad! Clearly the lettuce isn't being washed...Had to throw it out. So gross!

My family has been coming to this Garlic Crush since we moved to Issaquah and we love their food. Their shawarma sandwiches are our go-to, and we always order a side of their delicious garlic fries. I wish their restaurant was cleaner. When we went into the restaurant today, there were only two other parties and yet most of the tables in the restaurant were dirty with napkins and crumbs everywhere underneath the seats. We normally order this food to go and it reheats really well at home in the oven.

Picked up dinner on the way home. I ordered my usual and spouse ordered a salad Parking is easy. Restaurant appears to be well maintained. Employees are courteous and attentive. Didn't take long to get our order. Everything was well packed for take out Food is okay. Gyros sandwich had a good portion of meat. Restaurant was busy. Many takeouts were picked up, and several tables were occupied by patrons

Cauliflower for $8.75. Um. This isn't even 1/4 of a head of cauliflower.

I think I have to break up with Garlic Crush. It's just too many wrong things. 1. They forgot two of our entrees of our to-go order and my teen daughter was in a rush and didn't check. Ugh. 2. When I called them back and told them they forgot two of the entrees and was told apathetically "Sorry. There was a rush. Would you want a refund or to come back?" I told them we were 20min away but that I would come back." Just be better. Comp a piece of Baklava or something for the error or inconvenience. Sheesh. 3. Finally set down, 40 min later Round Trip. And this sad, sad pathetic portion of Cauliflower is $8.75. The Value and the Service has just gone downhill. I can't do it anymore.

Fast casual eatery with quick service and great food. You order at the cashier and bus your own tables. I love the consistency here and the flavor in the beef/lamb! This is my go to whenever I'm craving something quick

I eat here at least once everytime that I am in town. I have yet to have a bad meal. Place your order ahead and it will be ready when you arrive.

Insides of the chicken schwarma sandwich

We hadn't been to this restaurant since before the pandemic but we remembered it to be decent so thought we would give it another try since our errands took us to Issaquah. Sadly we were disappointed in our most recent dining experience there. The chicken schwarma sandwich was super disappointing. The chicken was very dry and tasteless and the other ingredients were pretty flavorless. The chicken kabobs were also quite dry. The tabbouleh and cauliflower were OK but not enough to make me want to go back and give it another shot. The garlic sauce on the cauliflower was just quite muted in flavor. Plenty of parking in this strip mall and the process is order and then find a table. It was just not to me and my family's liking so we won't be back.

Clean, delicious food, service is great and fast! I ordered the gyro plate, so good! I ordered the food to go but sat down to eat some at the restaurant. The gentleman working at the register, brought me food and saw that I stayed to eat. He brought me a cup for water. So nice! Thank you for a great lunch garlic crush!

Not a fan of this location. Bellevue location is much better. Dishes were very expensive for what you get and food was very mediocre. Meats were too cold and the salad dressing was extremely salty (maybe they put salt instead of sugar? I am not sure). Service was good although they ask for tips while customers have to bus the table. My son enjoyed his Gyro sandwich so I am giving it a 3. Otherwise it would have been a 2.

Never a disappointment. The Gyros are the best in town. The garlic fries are the best especially if you are about to make out.

Ask the Community - Garlic Crush

What is the difference between the garlic sauce vs garlic paste (besides sauce being thinner) - are the ingredients the same or does one contain more oil or is not vegetarian (ie dairy/egg). Is the paste closest to Toum of the sauce?

Do you have gluten-free items on menu?

Are alcoholic beverages available (wine)? Thanks!

Filled with corporate slop bowls to fuel up tech bros, you won't find a decent meal anywhere on this side of the lake. But Tanoor is kind of like that special someone who has been there your whole life but you've always looked past for greener pastures. This restaurant was staring me right in the eyes for years, and I didn't realize how magnificent it was until today. When you walk in you are greeted by warm, fresh and fluffy pita. Guess what, IT COMES WITH THE MEAL! Everyone knows I'm a sucker for some free bread. But don't let these Lebanese pillows fill you up, the dip marathon has just begun. The menu here is unlike anything I've ever seen. You can get lost trying to figure out what to order for lunch, so I would advise consulting the waitstaff for guidance through this delightful maze. I just looked on their menu to figure out what the fries that I ate were called, and I can't find them for the life of me. But they had their own incredible dip completely covering them. At one point we had 4 different dips on the table, and I'm not sure how they got there. 1) The dip on the fries 2) Spicy hummus (not that spicy, incredibly tasty) 3) Za'tar that comes with the pita 4) Yogurt sauce that came with the Kabob combo Everything comes with something else here. And since I was having an electric conversation with my good friend, I sort of lost track of everything that we ordered. But if you love dipping things in other things as much as I do, you will love Tanoor!

I highly recommend the combo for two to three people as you get a variety of different appetizers and all of the main kabobs. However, a couple of things that really made this experience mediocre. First, the meat was overcooked even though I asked for medium rare. Most of the meat came out medium well. The rice was undercooked and hard when you bit into it. The server could have been more attentive.. didn't come back to check on us, even though the restaurant wasn't super busy. The biggest disappointment is that this establishment passes on a 5% fee to help pay for their staff's benefits. They stay it's optional and they can take it off but it's very distasteful. The owner should reconsider this and build this expense into the pricing of their menu. Otherwise their wait staff is going to feel slighted when customers leave less tip because of this additional fee. Overall, this is a solid place, but the experience was just average considering all aspects, and therefore the three star rating.

Baba Ghanouj, Bisara Munir, Arnabeet, Alhalaioun and the chicken and beef Shish Taouk. Everything was delicious. Flavorful, the proteins were cooked perfectly nice and tender. One of our friends likes meat a lot and hadn't cause he thought it was a vegetarian restaurant. We had to have the green chile sauce on the side of the asparagus dish cause of my friend but that was ok we were putting it in other items we loved it so much. Also the whipped garlic that came with the chicken and beef was a big hit! We had never had Lebanese wine and enjoyed our selections. Love that it felt like a healthier meal with the vegetables and spreads. Didn't feel stuffed after but definitely satisfied. They even comped dessert for my friends birthday which I believe was an orange rose water pudding. Welcoming warm space. Parking is fairly easy on a Tuesday night. Looking forward to visiting again

Both were very flavorful and well balanced. Love the different textures. The roasted broccoli was OK, it was on the less cooked side The entree skewers were pretty good too. Shoutout to the kind service that let me combine and do half beef and half chicken because at the point I was too full from all the appetizers I ordered but still wanted to try both. One thing I really loved about the skewer is the sauces that came on the side: one tahini, one garlic, and one tomato. Such delicious sauces! Entrees were a little pricey though.
