May 03, 2026 Over the weekend, my husband wanted to grab a plate from Nick's Gyros & Seafood. He got us both a Shrimp Salad. Once he got back, he was so ready to dive into it until he saw the cucumbers. The cucumbers were really soft, they looked as if they were starting to go bad. So, instead of having to drive back up there, I told hubby to let's just toss the cucumbers and replace them with new ones, a very easy fix. Other than the cucumbers, the salad was pretty good. Nothing to flip and do jumping jacks over, but they tasted good. After fixing the issue, I was content with the salad. No big complaints over here! It was a quick and easy meal until the chef (me) stepped into the kitchen at home:) Yes, my cooking is amazing, and I am telling the world, haha! read more

This place is good but consistency varies for some reason. I've been multiple times and usually get the Philly or the Gyro combo. It seems each time it's slightly different. Sometimes extremely great and sometimes mediocre. Sometimes on the Philly it's perfectly portioned with meat and veggies sometimes it's more bread than meat. Same with the side of fries, sometimes you get a full bag sometimes you get half a bag. Overall food is fresh and you can tell it's made to order. Consider this as your food will take a little longer while ordering. I will continue to visit based on quality of the food vs consistency. read more

Just happened to be parked in front of Nick's and I remembered I saw on Yelp that this place served Fried Gizzards and was like OOOOH!!!! So we went in and ordered. I was spending the night nearby and looking for a local option for a late meal when I came across Nick's. It's nothing fancy, and I can't imagine anyone expecting otherwise -- just a simple restaurant with a drive-thru and a few seats inside. I ordered inside, where the cashier was friendly. I was tired, so I got my meal to go -- a dozen grilled shrimp with fries and a slice of sweet potato pie. The order took enough time to make to reassure me that it was being fresh made but didn't take any longer than I'd expect, which was nice. The cashier offered me sauces and put utensils in the bag. When I got the food to my room about 10 minutes later, it was still hot. The shrimp was good -- it was cleaned well, cooked well, and didn't have any funky tastes that shrimp can sometimes have. The seasoning on the shrimp was great! The fries were fine, just nothing special, so my expectations were met. The slice of sweet potato pie was absolutely delicious and actually made me sad I didn't get a second dessert. Only diet served is coke, and I dislike cola. they have a drive thru (which is what we used). The person working it did not sound like they wanted to be at work. When we got to the window a different person helped us and she was very nice. The burger was thick and juicy with a toasted bun. The fries were hot, crisp on the outside, and soft in the middle. You can't find places that can cook fries properly like this. We will have to go back and try some of their other food. read more

There was a misunderstanding about what two pieces of fish is. I asked the cashier how many pieces of fish come with the combo and I was told two. When I got the order I checked if and it was one piece of fish cut in half. She checked it and said that is the way we serve it by cutting it in half. However this was not explained to me, so when I asked can I pay for a whole piece of fish and she allowed me to. After waiting for 9 minutes I asked how much longer was it going to be and she responded it takes a while to sauté fish. I waited and watched the cook prepare other meals. Another worker was in the lobby and I asked him if he could check on the status of the fish and she said to me with a raised voice 'he don't have anything to do with the front he don't know about it". He work drive threw. I said if it is going to be much longer I may have to ask for the other food to be cooked over because the food is getting cold. The lady started yelling to back "how much longer on the fish and she want her money back'. So the supervisor (I guess) started walking up yelling she always complaining, just give her her money back. I told him that first, I did not ask for my money back and that they were very unprofessional. The lady wanted to go back and forward and I told him exactly what I said and she made that assumption on her own. He said to me, well if you knew how to cook fish you should know it takes a long time. (wow) The thoughts that ran through my mind, I didn't say. I said all I wanted to know was how much longer was it going to be for the one piece of fish and the fish then came up. At that point everyone was watching and just staring. So embarrassing. I told the guy he should have handle it and myself better than he did and he walked off. I said I would like a refund. so he said yelled his name and said she wants her money back, he said, give her the money back as he brushed me off with his hand gesture. The lady said to him, she going to have to wait. after three minutes I started recording her while she bagged condiments and took others orders for another six minutes. That was a waste of 40 minutes. To touch on his comment about always complaining. Yes, I have complained twice before because of the nature of the food that I was served. The food was old. It was a burger that had cheese that looked like it was frozen and reheated, the lettuce and tomatoes was withered with no texture or form to it and the bread was soggy wet. I was not going to accept that and yes I called and complained and returned it. The other time was for some wings, yes wings. I was told that they half way cook them and when the order come in the cook them until they are fully cooked that makes the wings fresh and less time to cook. Valid complaints to me, Its my money and If it is not to my liking I will address it. I gave grace those times because my order was made fresh for the burger meal and money returned for the wings. Tonight was the straw that broke the camels back. I have never been treated this way when I've had an issue that I addressed at this location. As a business that serves the public, some of the staff members at this location are poorly trained and lack customer service skills and accountability. The way this situation was handled lacked integrity, knowledge on how to deal with customers who have unresolved complaints, long wait times, lack of empathy and again RUDE and UNPERFESSIOONAL BEHAVIOR! read more

Only had two issues with this Nick's gyros and seafood one as yesterday. I ordered a chicken salad and they gave me a little to no chicken meat all lettuce and all onions a little tomatoes. Very disappointing salad. Here it is 17th, July 2024. I found myself going to nicks again to get their seafood plate. The one with the cluster crab and the shrimp combo the food looks good however I want to comment on the rude customer service that I received at the drive-through window, the young lady with the micro braids, light skin and long nails it's probably one of the rudest people I've ever met. Why does this not have 5 stars Kimberly is fantastic I eat here a lot. When my grand sons are in town this is where they wanted to go. I always get gizzards and wings or gizzards and shrimp they are fantastic. I haven't had anything here that I did not like. The food is awesome. The staff is fantastic. There is really only one thing I don't like and that is when they have 24 news playing I cannot stay if that's playing on the TV but it does not happen often so I love this place. We came into town with a rumbling tummy and saw this food joint. They offer a variety of different items from burgers, to Gyros, to catfish, chicken and other fried foods. We ordered the Gyro salad with Tzatziki sauce, the kids chicken tenders and the Catfish strips. Honestly, the catfish and the chicken strips were amazing! They were cooked to perfection, freshly made with the perfect coating and seasoning! We loved their hospitality the most. The fries were old and the salad was a little naked and the lamb meat with the Gyro salad were overcooked. I am from Chicago and I have spent the last five years since moving to SC looking for someplace that carves the gyro meat off a spit and doesn't put lettuce on a gyro sandwich. Yes, this is a simple little shop, but they have the closest thing to an authentic Greek gyro that I can find. We drive 45 miles to stop in for lunch every six weeks or so. They carve the meat just a tiny bit too thick, but it still tastes delicious. I also tried the calamari rings and shrimp meal. It was a lot of food for the price and it was crunchy and tasty (recognize that this is more or less fast food seafood, not a sit-down seafood restaurant). It made a good quick lunch. read more

I've had their Greek salad with gyro meat on it several times and it's been good this last time. It's the worst Greek salad that I ever had, The lettuce was brown. It had 1 tomato and 2 cucumbers, no olives, and very little feta cheese. All the Greek Gods Were rolling over in their graves. read more

I ordered through doordash and only received 1 thing out of my whole order then the 1 gyro I did receive had everything on it and things that don't even come on a gyro so im confused and this is a common thing for them at this point im convinced they cannot read cause how do you mess up "Only chicken and tzatziki sauce" and forget the rest of a order. read more

If this review was based solely on the food, I'd probably give it a 4/5. We ordered the tilapia & shrimp combo. I think there was an abundance of Old Bay seasoning, a bit unnecessary for me. However, it was cooked rather nicely and that was enough for me. We also ordered the Philly combo. The Philly was really tasty and I would definitely order it again. The staff were very attentive and unbelievably nice, seemed like it was a wonderful place to work because everyone seemed so happy. My husband told them it was my birthday and they gave us a complimentary piece of cheesecake and even sang to me which was really unexpected. We will definitely be back! read more

Okay..didn't take any pics, but let's get into this review. The Food: The food was good. My family and I had a very large order, which included flounder, Basa, wings, burger and gyros. The portion sizes are great for the price. The Service: The cashier was nice but the number of times she wiped her nose with her hand while taking our order ( but she did use sanitizer) was crazy. I believe the employees appearance could have been a lot more cleaner. The uniforms really need some attention. One employee came out of the kitchen with vented crocks and no socks. The Ambiance: The dinning area really needed some attention. Everything was so greasy. The floors, the tables, and the chairs. The bathroom was clean ( according to my husband).
