The fish is great, the season was on point, the wait time was a bit long,, but the food is fresh and hot, so the time I waited was worth it

Okay, so I went to this location for my birthday in November because I was craving a boil bag and…read morehadn't had one in about a year. I feel like good seafood spots in Columbia are limited, and I didn't want to try somewhere new and end up disappointed, so I stuck with what I knew. The food here is usually pretty consistent. I also hadn't been to this specific location in at least a year, When we entered the foyer, we were immediately met with a strange smell--honestly, it smelled like sewage. At first, I thought it was just me, but other customers who came in behind us and were waiting on their orders noticed it too, and we actually talked about it. Once you walked into the dining area, the smell was gone, which was a bit of a relief. Still, the smell of sewage is never appealing, especially in a place that serves food. Anyway, we got our boil bags and left. Overall, the food was just okay. My main complaint was the size of the crab legs--they were very small and barely had any meat. I wanted two clusters and a half-pound of shrimp, but unfortunately that particular option is no longer on the menu, which made it more expensive to customize than ordering one of the preset boil bags. Let's just say it wasn't worth it. My family got the sausage and shrimp bags those had a better quantity of food. The shrimp were good, but I was very disappointed with the crab legs. I probably won't be back, mainly because what I paid didn't really measure up to the food I received. That said, the staff was nice.

The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Seeing my son so happy made the experience even better. As long as he's happy, I'm happy! We always enjoy coming here and will definitely be back.

This was a really great combination! The linguine was prepared perfectly. It was filled with mushrooms, spinach, diced tomatoes, parmesan and basil. On top was the salmon. The salmon was tender with a buttery texture. It was so yummy!!! My husband ordered the Pineapple Glazed Shrimp. He had been wanting this for a while but that all changed when he opened it when we got home. There was no creamy risotto! He was disappointed that they had forgotten the risotto. Nevertheless, he did enjoy the shrimp. Maybe next time we are on that side of town he will get his chance:) Service was good. It took awhile for our food to come out, but that was fine. The restaurant wasn't full at all, it was nice and quiet. The ambiance was nice, and the restaurant was clean.

The cocktails were amazing! Hugs to the bartender because the drinks were so great. The imperial dip with the tortilla chips was served very hot and was very delicious. It has a crisped top and is truly cooked very well. The corn and crab chowder was tasty. The kids' chicken and fries were also pretty good and served hot and fresh. The loaded mashed potatoes, sirloin, and brussels sprouts were all so delicious and perfectly prepared. What put Bonefish back on my radar was their lunch special, which is a beverage, a soup or salad, and an entree from their select menu. I ordered the fish and fries, and the fish was cod, fried well, and really delicious. All for $14.99. They also have a good social hour and many other specials.

The drinks were blended very well and used fresh lime juice, which was nice. The appetizers -- the kimchi fries and the boneless wings were pretty standard. The fries were crunchy, but we felt like there was more cheese than there was kimchi and sauce, so we've had better kimchi fries elsewhere. The cheese was very gooey though. The boneless wings weren't as crunchy as they could have been, especially coming out in a stone dish, but the garlic soy sauce was still pretty good. Our mains were really good -- the japchae, which I ordered with fried tofu, had the right texture and flavor, and was delicious yet spicy. The tofu was a little bland though. My partner enjoyed the squid and pork belly dish and said that the sauce was similar to the japchae sauce. The portions were pretty normal and not too big, so we had a few leftovers but not too many. The prices were also pretty reasonable as well. Overall we were really happy with our food here and would come back if we ever visited again.
