Love the easy renting, delivery and pickup to our campsite! We've rented from Garvins twice and will be renting again in the future.

We had a true emergency with our RV while traveling from out of state. Our trailer stabilizers were…read morestuck and wouldn't detach from our truck, threatening to derail our entire vacation. I called and spoke with Ali, who immediately told us to bring it in. From that first conversation to the end of the service, the entire team was outstanding. They went well above and beyond locating a hard-to-find part hours away and doing whatever it took to get us back on the road quickly. Thanks to their expertise, quick thinking, and incredible dedication, we were able to continue our vacation without missing a beat. The level of customer service was exceptional, and the pricing for an emergency service especially considering how far they were willing to go was more than fair. You truly saved our trip. Thank you so much for everything you did. You've earned a loyal customer for life!

The quality and timeliness of the work were good, but the company's accountability and customer…read moreservice were disappointing. While my RV was being serviced, the battery disconnect switch was left in the "on" position, which caused the battery to die. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. One employee even apologized and acknowledged that the switch should have been turned off. However, the service advisor made no effort to correct the issue after it was confirmed that the battery would no longer hold a charge. Instead, she offered to sell me a replacement battery and still charge me labor for the installation. She also stated that I was lucky she was not charging me simply to test the battery, because according to her, the company charges for everything -- even basic battery testing. We spent a lot of money on our repairs so it is really disappointing that they could not offer any solutions for their mistake. In the end, it is not right that they made the mistake of leaving the switch on, and I was expected to pay the full cost of a battery and the "labor" to fix it. (For those that are wondering, the batteries health and performance were great when I brought it in). In the end, the experience left me with little confidence in the company's accountability or commitment to customer service.

I have probably come in contact with all their service, and front office employees. I can't say enough about how well I was treated, and the competence of their people. I spoke with Larry on March 16 and dropped the car off March 17. Right away, Larry was rude--chastising me for not bringing it in sooner, despite us just getting the recall notice. He also made inaccurate claims about our brakes just by looking at the car, clearly assuming I didn't know better. My husband and father are mechanics, and I have extensive experience working on cars myself. We only came in because recalls are fully covered. We were told the repair would take about a week to a week and a half, but they had our car for 20 days (March 17-April 6). No one suggested ordering parts ahead of time to reduce downtime. Communication was extremely poor--I had to call multiple times for updates, and Larry often said he'd call back but never did. After 16 days, they finally called (the only time they initiated contact) claiming the engine cover was cracked and would cost $400. The photo showed no oxidation or debris, indicating it likely cracked during service. The manager confirmed bolts in that area were removed and torqued. I pushed back, stating I wouldn't pay for damage likely caused by their mechanic, and said I'd escalate to Ford Corporate. They eventually covered it. The manager also acknowledged they usually order specialty tools before taking vehicles, which clearly didn't happen here. I raised concerns about the delay and lack of communication--he apologized and said he'd address it with Larry. They offered a rental, but I would've had to drive to Prescott and put down a $200 credit card deposit. I don't use credit cards, and while another location suggested using their business card, this dealership refused. We ended up sharing one car for the entire time. We were told at one point the car would be ready the next day, but delays continued (first a broken bolt, then the engine cover). We finally got the car back April 6--20 days later. Overall, the biggest issues were poor communication, lack of accountability, and Larry's rude behavior. We were considering buying a Ford truck (we pay cash and just bought a ranch), but after this experience, we will never buy a Ford again--mainly because this is the only dealership within 50+ miles and we refuse to deal with them. I would not recommend this dealership--or any Galpin Ford location. I documented all conversations from March 16-April 6 and will be advising others to avoid them.
