Dr Im always takes the time to explain things in a way they understand, and makes the whole experience feel calm instead of scary. The care and attention given to each child is genuine and that is not easy to find. We have selected dental insurance plans based on whether Kidventure is in-network because it is a deal-breaker for us to keep her as our kids' dentist. Dr Im never pushes procedures that aren't necessary and always explains the pros and cons of any procedure. The office is bright and clean and the televisions mounted over the dental chairs help keep the kids entertained. We are beyond grateful to Dr Im for taking such good care of our kids' teeth!

I returned to the facility and had a detailed discussion with Dr. Vu regarding my concerns. She was attentive and took the time to listen. Moving forward, I emphasized the importance of being informed of all available options so I can make well-informed decisions for my son. While the experience was upsetting, I understand nothing is perfect. As long as there are corrective measures and improved communication, I'm comfortable continuing care with the facility.

For a place that's supposedly committed to pediatric dentistry, Parklane sure makes it difficult for kids to be seen. The pediatric dentist is only available on Wednesdays, which is probably where most of our issues arose. During our 4yo son's cleaning/checkup in April 2026, we were told that he may need a tooth extraction soon or the infection in one of his teeth might spread to his other teeth. We decided not to schedule the extraction at that time as we needed to think about it and the timing of the procedure. A month later, in May 2026, our son was complaining of the tooth pain, so we called to schedule the appointment to pull the tooth, only to be told that an appointment won't be available until August 2026. That seems an awful long time to wait to pull an infected tooth, but apparently, 3 months is the earliest availability. We brought our 1yo daughter in for her cleaning and exam. It took 1.5 hours, and of that, 1 hour and 15 min was waiting. Waiting in the lobby ~25 min to be admitted. In the room, waiting for 55+ min to be seen. Even with nonstop bluey loop (not full episodes, but a YouTube loop of random clips), our toddler was going nuts and so were we. I had to go move the car at some point, which I guess is when the dentist came in and did the cleaning (hubby said it took at most 10 min). You'd think that pediatric dentists, especially the ones who see younger patients, would understand the need for timeliness with energetic toddlers. We're switching dentists now, crossing our fingers that the paperwork transfer will go smoothly.

We had to see an emergency dentist over the weekend and they automatically suggested root canals and crowns. The following Monday, Dr. Eddie squeezed us in first thing in the morning and is basically trying to save his teeth without either a root canal or crowns. My kids love this man and his staff!

I lamented over the procedure for weeks, worrying about how he would handle it all. Dr. Kang and her team were so very patient and kind. From the initial phone call and consultation, and every step to the procedure, they were absolutely wonderful and put our minds at ease. We had such a great experience that today, when I told Shayne we had to see the dentist, he yelled, "Mommy I'm so excited to go see the dentist!" Not many kids (or adults even) have this reaction to a dental visit, especially after his procedure. The team here truly takes the time to connect with your child. Upon entrance, whether it's Dr. Kang herself or one of her assistants, sat with our son to play a game, watch a few minutes of the Disney channel or really whatever he wanted to do. My first dental visit for my standard cleaning in Sept 2025 went smoothly and was a good experience. I also just started Invisalign 1-29-2026, and today just had impressions of my teeth made. The staff here has been very helpful. Evelyn and Karen were involved to assist me in getting pre-authorization for Invisalign. Eduardo was extremely patient and gentle to help me get the impressions for Invisalign. In closing, I would recommend this dental group, based on my positive experiences so far. Everyone here has been very nice and helpful. Since I'm still pretty new here, I'll start with a 4-star (very good) rating. I can update this once I've had longer experience here. Decline the upsell. Just walk away. Avoid this dental group at all cost. Avoid any dentist that upsells u on products. Make sure u know your copay before seeing any dentist. Ask for it in writing.
