I called Deck and Dock and from the very first call, I started to place my material order with Angel. She was not only a joy to work with but since I do not do marine contracting as a daily profession, she was able to respond with any question I had. On my phase 2 finishing work part of my project Deck and Dock had run out of piling wrap. Angle and the yard staff loaded my truck with everything but the warp. Angle promised to call me as soon as the wrap cam in. About 4 yours later (right around lunch break time) she called and had it ready to be picked up. Awesome experience with this company.

Lack of knowledge on the repair itself, attitude of "Just put a new carb on it" Not the case with lauderdale Small Engine Repair. Lauderdale Lakes Small Engine Repair actually did what I asked them to do which was tune, adjust the high and low jets, on the newly rebuilt american made Walbro carb. They charged me $25 for the diagnosis and $4.06 for the repair work. Totally fair. Other shops just wanted to put a new carburetor on the chainsaw. Carburetors are not being made with the proper linkage for this model Homelite chainsaw but rebuild kits are. Don't let the look of the place deter you from using lauderdale Lakes Small Engine Repair. This is one way they can keep their prices in check. Do yourself a favor and use them. We placed an order for $338 worth of custom-cut strips of plastic. We ordered this from them in the past. They were given the exact dimensions to cut in a drawing. The communication this time around was deplorable. There is complete apathy there. Finally, when the order was ready we picked it up. They would not insert into our application because the dimensions were off. They came here to pick them up, only because I asked them to, and then they took an extended period of time to fix them knowing were behind on our deadline thanks to them. They delivered the strips back and we were horrified. They tried to fix them by grinding them down. It was a completely third-world rig. Literally, you saw grind marks all over them. They didn't fit once again. This is a company that is supposed to have machines that can do modern work like CNC and laser cutting. I tried more times than I could remember and have the emails to prove it to get anyone there to accept responsibility and to fix the problem. I left many, many messages for the owner and NOBODY ever called us back. There is a girl that answers the phone, but you cannot get past her. You could tell when talking to her that she felt bad because she was stuck in the middle. We will never do business with this company again after finding ALRO Plastics who delivered a flawless job. I placed a claim with Bank of America and it was denied. I am laughing because they put the effort to send our bank paperwork yet their spineless owner would not call back. What kind of a man is that? I am still shaking my head as to why the bank would deny a claim when I sent them all of the proof of our email correspondence showing they completely ignored us and did not rectify the problem. BOA denied a claim because they provided our bank copies of the invoice and signature that we ordered them... seriously??? This is such the typical service in Miami and why we try to purchase outside of this swamp! Happily, we threw away the useless strips of plastic in the garbage! They beat us for $338 dollars but how much money will they lose when others read this? If they even bother replying, they have no defense because all of our employees are witnesses!!!

Weedeater, leaf blower, chain saw and lawn mower, they fix them all. I always see lawn service trucks every time I'm in there so the pros use them too. On average it seems to take 3-5 days to get something repaired as they seem to have a pretty full workload. They have a pretty good selection of new equipment also. I have used other shops in the area before finding and settling on Youngs, I trust and recommend them.

I do my own pressure cleaning and when I need to use it, I need to use it THEN, not in a week. Same with my generator if I need to get prepared for an approaching hurricane. If there is a problem and I can't start it or have other issues with my generator,, Tay Tools is a half mile down the road from me, and for a reasonable price, Tay can fix it in hours or even less. Before I knew Tay Tools was there, I always had to call a handyman to come fix it, and he is not always available. I needed this weekend to pressure clean my deck and tried several times to start my engine. Fogettaboutitt,,, I took it down the road to Tay. Not only did he fix it in less than 2 hours, he taught me something. "Don't leave gas in it for a long time because the carburetor will need servicing. There are not many places like this around, but luckily I found this and it is close and convenient, so anyone living around Griffin Rd. West, or Hollywood, Tat will take care of these issues QUICK and very reasonable. I, in fact was surprised at the bill. No more waiting for anyone, just going to drive it down to Tay's Tools. They open at 8:00 am, so can get it done early enough to get the day going.

They are honest and efficient. I brought the motor in, fully intent on buying a new one, as this was original and probably 20 years old. The guy behind the counter said it most likely could be repaired and it would run around $95. The next day they called and said it didn't need any parts and the total cost was $59. Amazing!!! They are located in Fort Lauderdale on Powerline Road off of I 95 and Coconut Creek Blvd. They've been in business for over 25 years. Thank you for being so honest and thank you for doing a great job. The work was completed quickly and I highly recommend them. I saved hundreds of dollars over buying a new motor!
