A solid sports bar with a younger crowd to watch games or pregame for the night out. We got food which I would say was just average. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich with tater tots. Great food horrible service. Waitress messed up a simple order and couldn't be bothered to come back to table even after she was waved down multiple times. She messed up simple instructions to avoid a serious food restriction I have ( must have meat cooked all the way through or I can get sick.) this was COMPLETELY ignored and I had made sure I told her I needed the meat absolutely cooked all the way. Another server came by and management and were helpful. Waitress never came back and as someone who works at a bar, there is no excuse for just being lazy and inattentive update have been here 20 minutes and the waitress has walked by multiple times and still not acknowledged the table whatsoever. Went here yesterday with a big group to watch the Hawks. Overall had a really nice time. Service was pretty good, drinks were fairly reasonable and quite good. Food was great, and pretty cheap all in all. I had a Buffalo crispy chicken wrap and tater tots (YUM) and it was only $10. Not bad at all. read more

I was so happy when Gaslight moved into the Clark street spot to replace Mickey's. I'm a big fan of the 4 corners restaurant group and knew that Gaslight was going to be a great addition to the neighborhood. The patio is so fun and lively- a great place to drink and hang out on a summer day. I recently came with 2 girlfriends for lunch. TVs were on, people were drinking and there was a buzz in the air. We each had the pepperoni pizza, fish tacos, and veggie burger. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back for some day drinking or football game this fall. read more

Came here to hangout with some friends and watch college ball. First waitress was great, second one over charged is and refused to take it off the bill, saying we ordered everything. Great location, sit in the patio! I ordered the Turkey Burger with pasta salad and it was so delicious. My friends ordered burgers as well and looked just as tasty as mine. I'm not a burger gal. Not that I don't like burgers. More so that I rarely crave them. But when I do, I want one BAD...and Gaslight's burgers are AMAZING. Seriously some of the best burgers I've had in this city have been from here- and I've been to many of the greats (Au Cheval, Kuma's Too, Lockdown, etc.). While this is no Au Cheval (sorry Gaslight), you won't be disappointed by their burgers. Monday is $5 burger night! read more

We came with a group because this place was advertised as wheelchair accessible. When we arrived, there were 5 steep steps up, and the manager told us there wasn't an ADA entrance for our member in a wheelchair. Not sure how the place is, because we literally couldn't enter. read more

You can find me here on most Monday evenings - they don't outwardly advertise it but they have some of the best dinner specials in Lincoln Park (Monday is $5 burger and fries/tater tots). If you are looking for good bar food, try to avoid going to Gaslight. I went there last Friday with my girlfriend and sister and had a mediocre experience at best. The service was just fine and the drinks were actually pretty damn good, however that being said, the food was just awful and it was way over priced. I won't be coming back to Gaslight for food, but I would consider coming back for drinks on the amazing patio they have out front right in the heart of Lincoln park. If you want my advice gaslight, stop trying to serve a crappy fish taco in Chicago. Not gonna work. Gear your menu more towards burgers, dogs, and fried foods. Nobody is looking to get drunk and eat healthy anyways so drop the shitty tacos, invest in a bigass deep frier, throw some onion rings in that bitch, and feed those drunk fools what they want. Just moved to Lincoln park right down the street from gaslight and the bartenders and waiters/waitresses have made me feel so welcome and at home, especially Sean! I couldn't have been happier with my visit to Gaslight, I highly recommend the Tostada's or the hummus trio appetizer. The place was packed and our server still kept our drinks full all night. Also, during my visit we had two managers stop by our table to ask us about our experience and actually requested suggestions of what could be better. I live around the corner so I keep coming back because of convenience, if nothing else. But everything about this place is inconsistent. I never see any of the same employees there. I remember one waiter who was really great, but then I also remember two occasions where I had to get up and go track down the server because they hadn't checked on us in so long and we were ready to leave. Despite being a Four Corners bar, the combination of atrocious service & mediocre food ensures that I will never come back. It took 15 minutes to get a bud light and after 35 minutes waiting for my meal, they brought half of my table the wrong food. Instead of promptly replacing the food with our correct orders, it took an additional 25 minutes for us to get our meals. Waitresses were overworked, wasn't their fault. Much improved from Mickey's - our server was great and it was a good experience. However, I think this was the saltiest burger I've ever had! I went with four friends and we all had the same feedback - way too much salt. It overpowered the flavor of all our food, and we all had different items. Food is pretty good here. The Sunday mimosa special is awesome. $12 for a bottle of champagne and they have a bar with different juices, candies and fruits to add to your mimosa. I thought the service was average overall. I'm giving it three stars because it was really good tasting... I can't be too upset because after all they specify they don't guarantee cross contamination won't happen. There was definitely gluten in the gluten free pizza. I am not the most sensitive to cross contamination but something definitely did it...again, was warned by the server, but I've never had it happen in a place that specifies a gluten free option on the menu. Perhaps it's made right by the regular, the cook didn't switch gloves, or gluten containing sausage was used on the topping. I wanted to love this place but now I will not be coming back. read more

We don't need to even get started on the atrocity that used to be in this location. It's no contest that Gaslight has always been better. I appreciate that this new location gives them a lot more space and the awesome patio but it seems to have lost the charm that the other Benchmark bars had and instead has gone for the modern bar vibe. While I am not a fan of their split from the average Benchmark look, their food is just as amazing as the other locations still. I am a huge fan of the different flavored Moscow Mules (I had the pear and about died - so good). The main reason I am knocking off stars is because the music was so loud that my group could barely speak (or I should say yell) to each other and we were sitting outside! Kind of disappointing when you're just looking to enjoy some drinks and the weather with friends. All of the waitstaff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. read more
