We ordered the fried pickles to start. They were good. They have quite a variety of appetizers, including some Asian inspired. Then we ordered the three-piece fish fry, perch, and the salmon. At first glance, the portions of seafood seemed a little small however, for the price it's a good deal. You also get breadsticks, coleslaw, and baked beans. The salmon was the unexpected star!! Better than most chain restaurants and right there with expensive ones! The inside is decorated like a typical Wisconsin dive bar, but the food exceeded our expectations. But The food was OK. The highlight of my meal were the chips. For beverages, there are no refills and the price for the iced tea was more expensive than the beer (they don't carry Summer Shandy BTW). Something we haven't really seen before. Even if it is advertised on the menu, they could mention it as a reminder when offering a second beverage . The bartender then refused to let me take a picture of their pull tab sheet because the handwriting on there sheet and the handwriting on the pull tab were the exact same handwriting and pen color... seems very fishy to me. Owned and operated by the people who run Twin Shores next door, this little building has a tiny, crowded bar with one table, and several outdoor tables.
