If I could give a 0, I would…read more Within a week of being there, I discovered my apartment had a roach infestation (big/med/small sized, alive and dead), along with huge spiders and centipedes making their appearance regularly. My dog got sick from eating a roach... when I brought in my conditions sheet, I brought that to the attention of one of the office people I had yet to meet, who (with an annoyed attitude) said she would add me to the list (very reassuring) and was informed that they wouldn't be able to do anything for a week. Their hot tub is disgusting. The night I moved in, a friend of mine and I went in there- she ended up getting contact dermatitis from it, a rash from bad bacteria. Upon further inspection the following day, there's dirty/brown bubbles in it, and what looks like fungus build up on the corners. Their pool is regularly dirty and freezing. My apartment was gross, had a musky smell upon initially entering the apartment, dirty shelving in the closet, dirty/hair build up along the floorboards (especially in the bathroom by the shower)... the washer and dryer were gross. Inside the rubber seal in the washer was caked/built up hair and dirt, along with very visible black mold in the detergent drawer-- which I ended up taking a sample of and sending it to a lab, which came back positive for black mold.. the lint collector in the dryer had caked on dirt built up. There was dirt residue built up above the vent in the bathroom. The bedroom door didn't latch, as well as the patio door. You had to lock/deadbolt the patio door for it to stay shut, which was extremely hard to do. You had to push/pull/jiggle it just right to be able to get the lock to lock. Their key fob system doesn't work, it's extremely dark with no/hardly any lights in the very back of the buildings where some parking is. There's dog poop everywhere along the sidewalks, even on the side walks a lot of times. When I decided this place just wasn't what they had made it seem to be when I toured it, text book uninhabitable, I went to the front office and spoke with the manager, informing her that I was moving out. At that time, I had only been there 6 days. She did not want to work with me and wanted 2 months of rent to release me from my lease. This was the biggest scam I've seen. She herself even said she wouldn't ever get in their hot tub... but that's an amenity I'd be paying for? Continues to inform me there was someone who moved out of my apartment building a few weeks prior that had a massive roach infestation they were trying to contain and rid the place of (mind you, unsuccessfully- why would you move a new tenant into that building so soon??) I've tried reaching out to their regional office multiple times, unsuccessfully. Currently, I'm in talks with lawyers about what a headache all of this is. Save yourself the hassle, headache, and consider your well-being and well-being of your pets, and do NOT move here. I've come to personally discover that there are far more better places around for this price point.

I have lived here a year and can't wait to move out. The new management is awful and delivered our…read moreletter to either extend the lease or move out over a week after the printed date on the top and are now charging us half a months rent saying we were late to decide.. letter was dated the 7th and we got it on the 12th and let them know we are moving the 15th, 3 days later.. one day 'late' according to them but the letter said we had a week to let them know we are leaving to two weeks if we want to extend to decide. It's already been sold and is under new management after only two years of being finished. Rent is increasing double what they increased it the last two years under the original management. It looks nice but is very cheaply constructed for the price. Floors were already chipped so it's not real hard wood like advertised, walls buckling as it settles. You can hear the neighbors above you pee, the neighbors on either side of you talk and play their TV/music, the front door constantly shakes and makes noise when neighbors open and close their doors from the hallway pressure and lack of seals around the door. You can hear dogs barking from 4 doors down. The pool is nice but the courtyards and surrounding landscaping are dying from not being watered and the reclaimed water ponds are all around the building so it smells like low tide and is surrounded by construction now. Business' and restaurants have opened and closed multiple times even in the same location within the past year and there's a new smokehouse next door that blasts music and has live bands that play loud enough you can hear it clearly with all doors and windows shut if you're on that side facing publix or the two back retention ponds. I also noticed the other negative reviews have been removed and only the 5 stars kept, so I'm not sure how they got them taken down and they were about noise complaints too. I'm in my 20's and have lived next to college campus housing quieter than this place. Look at other apartments nearby, there are plenty better constructed and that offer more with better management and front office staff, they are very unpleasant since they fired the old staff and replaced with a seemingly less experienced crew. One last thing regarding a previous review and how secure the parking garage is.. a residents motorcycle was just stolen from the garage and he even had a nice notice/poster on his car letting the thief return it before he turns in surveillance to the police and someone (probably management) covered his signs on his car with white poster board so people couldnt see it. Possibly so they don't know a theft occurred, but that's just a guess. I hope they don't get this review removed because it is an honest review.
