Okay, Bronco Motors Hyundai was bad. I found out Kendall had bought them and I was So Excited as I have always had good experiences with Kendall. But it seems the service department is the same. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I took my car in for an oil change and to have them investigate some shimmying in the front passenger wheel/tire. I dropped it off at 10am. No contact that whole day. I called the next morning about 10 and was told I needed to come to the dealership and drive the car so the service guy could feel what we felt as they could not feel anything. Fine, but why did I have to call them to get an update?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Now, today I dropped my car off to have the bearings fixed as they decided that was the issue though the service guy never felt what my husband and I did while driving the car. As it is a 2023 Hyundai bought brand new, it is all under warranty, but again, the car has been there since 9:45, it is now 5:30 and no contact about running late or that they needed to keep the car[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I called to see what was going on and no answer, I am not surprised. Service center here does not answer phones. Persistently tried and finally got a service advisor. No appointments for 30 days. No exceptions for vehicles needing immediate service. Recommended their Nissan dealership but that would be self pay even if under warranty. Advisor stated , "warranties are a huge mess for them?" What the what? SMH? Run from this place. read more

We bought a car from Bronco Motors Hyundai West 2 1/2 months ago. The car broke down. We brought it to a repair shop and were told that it would be $7,200 to repair the car. We went and talked to the General manager of Bronco Motors (Tom Rossoll) and explain the situation. He along with the owner (Grant Peterson) worked together, had the car towed to their special Chevrolet car repairman. They helped resolve the issue with the car and saved us a load of money. I went to Bronco Motors Hyundai in Nampa for the first time this week, due to a minor recall issue. The facility was very clean and the employees were friendly and efficient. The waiting area was comfortable and offered free bottled water. My car was ready within the time frame given to me as an estimate. The only improvement that I would recommend would be to add some exterior signage to indicate where to go/park when arriving for service appointments. read more

I believe I have been a victim of fraud, Bronco motors sold me into a lease and took my trade in vehicle valued around $13,000 on 11/25/23. They have since sold this Vehicle and have yet to pay off the Lien in my name. I have tried contacting them over the past 2 months with no avail. I have been getting debt collection calls and credit score decreasing notifications and calls on my old Lien that Bronco Motors was supposed to pay off in the trade in deal. I finally had to go into the dealership last week in person to see what is going on since they wont return my calls or emails. I have a long list of car dealers. There are quite a few that I would strongly advise to avoid and a few that I would strongly suggest going to. Bronco Motors is on the good list. They stand by their product and they are honest and have integrity. They will not push any cars on you and they will not trick you into getting a fleet car. They let me try out a Rogue; I wanted it, but I found that it was kind of awkward for me to drive. The monthly price was a little high as well. After doing a little bit of work the dealer left and came back with this beautiful Ford Escape. I never thought that I would be driving a Ford again, but here I am. They also offer probably one of the best extended warranties. The warranty company does not nit pick about whether or not you use it for ride sharing. A passenger broke my back hatch. The dealership checked to see if it was covered, but it was not. Bronco Motors will not service my car, but that it okay. They are more than happy to refer me to a Ford dealership who will take pride in working on my car. The warranty can be used pretty much any where I go! I wish I had known about this dealership sooner. read more

It was supposed just a simple installment of a fuel sender; but it took months to get it done. I don't want the customer service paradigm they are working on, but it's not working. I'm not bringing my car unless it's absolutely necessary. When you're a new customer, they treat you fine; but when you come back, that's another story. It doesn't deserve one star because of the way me and my son were treated. Let me write this nightmare saga from hell, to explain what happened for something so simple to get done. I was able to call up and talk to a human to make an appointment regarding the part in question for replacement. This was back in December 2021 as I recall. The first appointment was scheduled on 2/2/22. My son took the car in, but they didn't have the part available, so he wasted his time and effort on his day off from work to go down there. Here is the email I sent to them that afternoon regarding the appointment where he had to come home because the part wasn't available that morning. To Whom It May Concern, My son came to his appointment, on time (2/2/22) 10:30AM, thinking the fuel sender part, was going to be replaced. However, that didn't happen because someone didn't follow through to having the part ready for the appointment from the parts department. A person from the parts department called us three weeks ago, telling us he'll let us know if it's in the inventory. He told us it wasn't in the inventory at the time he called. We received no call from this gentleman from the parts department telling us otherwise of what is going on after that week when he called. In all my years doing maintenance on a car, this was unusual. I know that are supply chain problems, you had three weeks to figure it out and could have communicated to us of what was going on. If I knew then, I would have canceled the appointment, and waited to tell us when it will be available. Here you are a dealer and not to communicate with the client. I have owned many cars for over 40 years, but in all my years doing maintenance on a part that needs replacement, on a car, this was unusual. It wasted my son's time to go down for the appointment, when you and your service and parts department, knew that there was no part to be ready. Please either call me or send me an email to notify me that the fuel sender will be available for his car. After that, we'll schedule an appointment. The parts manager, Rudy, called me within 15 minutes after sending the email. He overnighted the part for us. I gave five stars because he apologized to me for the part not being there in the first place. On 2/7/22 I called the service department twice to schedule an appointment because the fuel sender was ready to be installed. They forced you to leave a voicemail after you are in phone tree hell, promising to call you, later in the day. They never did that. When I did talk to a human and got out of the phone tree hell, I lost my temper with her because I just wanted to make an appointment. However, that didn't happen. She put me on hold twice and said they will get back to me later in the day. Like I said, they didn't call me back. That's not customer service when making promises you can't keep. On 2/8/22, I was able to get an appointment set up online with their calendar. In the notes section under general maintenance, I requested to have the fuel sender replaced in the car. On 2/18/22, I called Rudy, the parts manager, and confirmed that the part is going to be there on the appointment day that I set up online. He made a promise and followed through with it. On 3/2/22, my son had the appointment to have the fuel sender installed to replace the bad one. When he got there, they asked to come the next day. He told them, he couldn't because he had to go to work. It needed to be done. The excuse was they were short on staff. Well, why have the appointment set up, and change at the same time, is stupid. Why set up the appointment online, and then try to change it when the customer comes in, is weird. The service advisor was rude and unprofessional when getting this appointment completed to my son. The part was replaced. He saw his car come out, but the service advisor didn't have the courtesy to come and get him. He went over and see if his car was ready, of which it was. I don't understand why their customer service is so lousy. If you need to have either a recall or warranty service, yes, but regular car maintenance, forget about it. I have begun to look at other places to have my car worked on. Remember the adage was that the customer is always right. This leaves to let the customer beware (caveat emptor) of this customer service, or lack of it to the said customer. I don't recommend this dealer and go to somewhere else if you can. read more

A employee acted inappropriately and I was told after the incident by Grant Peterson that the employee no longer works there. When I made an appointment to get my oil changed at 2:00 pm yesterday they told me they might get around to it. I called at 4:30 PM no one answered. I call the next day at 8:30 AM no one answers. I call repeatedly and no one answers until maybe noon. They state the car was done yesterday and called, the number they called was not my number. I go in today to pick up the car and wouldn't you know it the employee that acted inappropriately was still working there. I talk to a manager and they say there is nothing they can do. This place is beyond a dumpster fire, for your own sake never ever do business there. read more

Of course, it's a well-known fact that taking your car to the dealer for service is a sucker's game. I only went to Bronco Motors Hyundai West for the oil changes that were supposed to come with the new car I bought. Recently, as I was waiting for an oil change to get done, the service department person Sean came into the lounge to ask me if I wanted to replace the cabin air filter. I told him I did not. This was not my first rodeo. I am well aware of the Cabin Air Filter Routine, one of the oldest in the book. I know that a new cabin air filter costs about $12 on Amazon and takes about two minutes to replace. He asked me if I was really sure about not replacing it--perhaps I wanted to take a look at how dirty it was? No, I told him, that's okay, When I went to sign the paperwork, there was a picture of a cabin air filter with the papers. It was hilarious. The filter in the picture had this huge tuft of bright green grass sitting on top of it. After I left the dealership, I noticed a loud rattling sound when I turned up the fan for the AC. I texted Sean to ask him what BMHW was going to do about that, because there had been no rattling before they started messing with the all-important cabin air filter. And here is the reason for this review--his solution? To the problem THEY caused? He wanted me to bring it in and get a new cabin air filter installed! That's all! He assured me that a brand new $50 filter would definitely do the trick! Between this experience and some issues with the car, I'll probably move on to a Toyota or Honda next time. read more

The employees of Bronco Motors, specifically Mitch, Jordon, and their manager Bob, really helped make the transaction enjoyable. My car was delivered clean, filled to the brim with gas and all my questions regarding operations were addressed. 1 star removed due to the poor communication of my actual (unnamed) sales agent, but once again, Mitch stepped up to cover the gap and the team finished strong. read more

Back in January my wife and I signed up for the $50 test drive promotion from Hyundai. We got a code, submitted it to the saleswoman, and took a test drive in the Palasade. I just realized that we never received our $50 Visa card! I did follow up with both the saleswoman and the GM afterwards and was told that there was nothing more I needed to do to receive the card. I guess if you don't buy a vehicle they conveniently forget about you. But if they don't honor their commitments why would I want to buy a vehicle from them? Lady tried to say she was on vacation for two weeks and couldn't update the price on fb, and in the same BREATH the manager said they couldn't show the correct price because of 'legal' reasons. keep in mind the price was listed the day before as 4000 lower. my bf messaged them on fb, and the next day magically it was listed on fb as the correct price 38,520. How can they now update the price to 38,520 when they can't legally have it that high? Totally contradicts. read more

These rats will take advantage of you. My brother bought a Hyundai Accent 2009 ($10000) and when we went on a road trip, we found out the AIR CONDITIONING wasn't working. When we got back, James Tennyson told us that they didn't want to talk about the negatives of the car and that air conditioning was a LUXURY item. When my brother, new at this, decided to trade it in for a Kia Spectra 2004 (worth $4000 at the most) because he didn't want to be stuck without AC, they (Chris Plaza) charged an extra $2000 instead of giving my brother's money back. They really fooled him and I hope they're satisfied. My brother doesn't have much of anything but they'll cut your throat the second you give them a chance. They kept trying to charge him for extra legal crap too. Don't buy from these guys. read more

I bought a brand new car here about a year ago, from the salesman Mitch and had nothing but positive experiences with buying it and driving my car! Highly recommend Mitch, he is very respectful and personable. I just had to take my car in to have something worked on for the first time and first worked with a younger girl that wasn't very friendly or helpful. I didn't feel like she listened to what I was trying to explain very well, so I wasn't very impressed or comfortable by that. Then once the mechanics had looked further into the problem I started working with Ryan, who was beyond helpful. He went above and beyond with fixing the problem and explaining what it was. My experience with Bronco Motors Hyundai West was sub par. I bought a Veloster back in 2012 at the Boise location. I had the vehicle until four months ago. I was asked by the west dealership if they could buy my vehicle from me and then they would get me into a great SUV. I finally trading in my Veloster for a 2017 Tucson. Everything seemed great until I hit 3400 miles. Then my car went into safe mode. I finally get it to the dealership and they determine it was a bad engine. So this brand new vehicle had a bad engine in it. They take my car for over a week and a half. They give me a loaner car but I couldn't do lyft since it wasn't my car. So lost money here. I finally got my car back and seemed like it was going well. But then I started to notice you can't adjust the volume on stereo until it is fully up and running. So if you turned your vehicle off as the volume was loud, it would be just as loud when you turned the volume on. But you cannot do anything about it for a minute. Then I noticed when I came to a complete stop, and then tried to press on the gas to go, it would hesitate while I am in the middle of the road. It would finally get up and going but doesn't seem right. Then I started to notice a weird sound coming from the engine as I am going through drive throughs. Can only hear it when it would deflect off of the walls. I checked the oil and the vehicle seems like it is good but seems like it is just defective. So what did I do, I wrote an email to one of the service reps who I have worked with for a long time. He apologized for me not liking my vehicle and he said he forwarded that letter onto the sales manager and bill who sold me my car. Well I sent that email on the 16th. Still have not heard from anyone. Of course if they need something from you, they call anytime they want to get what they want. I just feel that they should make it a priority to give me a call. But seems like I am just another number. I am stuck with this vehicle now. Yes, I could bring the vehicle in and have them look at it but it seems like I shouldn't have to see the services department two or three times before my first oil change. Let me just say that the service guy I mentioned, he is a great guy and employee. He has done anything and everything to help fix this problem. I recently purchased a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe from this dealer and for the most part was treated well but my sales person was vague about certain details and was told later that management told her to be vague so the finance guy could sell me every extra item for lots of extra money, one being extended oil changes. I bought the extra oil changes and found out through Hyundai TV ads that I should have gotten 3 years of free oil changes offered on all new 2020 Hyundai's sold. When I complained about the unnecessary oil change fee I was charged John the finance guy called once and left a message which I responded but no call back or attempt to resolve this over charge. Long story short the sales staff are pretty standard, the service department in the west and Fairview locations have always been exceptional for us. My wife wanted a particular car and she had been in contact with Bronco motors all three West, Fairview, and Downtown in attempts to purchase the car she wanted for over a year. The sales staff are pretty stereo typical wanting to push a sale she was not comfortable with. Her and I found the car in the color she wanted online and made the purchase out of state. When bringing the car home she started having some issues with her previous 11 year old Hyundai we kept and did not trade in, they diagnosed and fixed very quickly and it is running great. With her having driven a Auto-transmission sedan for 2 decades, she thought there was something wrong with the new car or her driving, the Service staff took the time to explain all her questions and concerns about her new manual transmission Hyundai and even showed her how to drive it to get the best performance and efficiency. We went in to buy a car, put down 1000.00 Drove it off the lot and the next day heard the steering wheel making strange noises then felt one of the lower gears slipping every time a came to a stop and also notice the drivers side window popped every time you rolled it down. We took the car back the next day and told them we didnt want it. They told us there was nothing wrong with the car, charged us $30 per day that we had it PLUS .30 cents per mile. And when asked when the deposit would be refunded to our card he said 'it will be there when its there'!!!! We will NEVER do business with them again. What horrible people. Went in Monday, June 19th to have a bad battery replaced, and had to make an appointment for that Friday. The Service Manager promised to call me after charging and testing the battery that Friday within 2 hours, but I never heard from them by Monday noon so I went down and picked up my bad battery and went elsewhere. I have to commend the Service Dept at Bronco Motors Hyundai West, especially Ryan Hatch and staff, I bought a 2007 Santa Fe from a dealership in Maryland, a week after returning home with it, the check engine light came on. After assessing the problem,which was major. Ryan went far and above to be sure that the 60 day warranty that came with the car would cover the repairs. It took over 2 weeks but they got the approval and repaired my car. I highly recommend the Service Dept and staff for their Customer Service. read more

My husband called ahead to inquire about a car listed on their website. The salesman said yes, come on in. When my husband got there, surprisingly, the car from the site (which was a good price and the car we wanted) was NO WHERE to be found. They walked around scratching their heads saying they had no idea where it went. Seriously! Isn't that your job. So my husband test drove a different car - more expensive, of course - and liked it. So he sat for an hour just to discover that they could not make the deal. Then when my husband inquired about the $50 gift card for taking a test drive he was told to go home and register for it on lint (hey, it's the holidays who couldn't use an extra $50, plus THEY offer it). Guess what, it doesn't work to register for it! My husband went back to speak to the sales manager who told him he could not help and to go back home to register for it. Nope, still doesn't work.
