Love this restaurant by Gallo. The host was so accommodating especially on such a busy Friday night in the village. The restaurant was very clean and I like the ambiance. There were screens at the bar promoting social distancing and everyone wore mask, including staff. The food was amazing and came out in a timely fashion. My fave was the clam in a vinegar sauce yum! The Belgian waffle desert was so delicious and big enough to share. I look forward to my next visit!

Great restaurant around Lewiston to grab dinner. Got some gift card for this place so we decided to visit. Placed a reservation for 7:30 because it was a little busy during weekends. Inside looks decorative and cozy with pretty nice decorations. Server was friendly and helpful, helped us clear our doubts on the food. We started with a bottle of wine and pierogis for our appetizer. Then we ordered fish & chips from the special menu and grilled chicken Ceasar salad with a bowl of French onion soup. Food were very tasty and well cooked. It took a little longer for the entree to come since it was busy. Overall, great restaurant for great food around Lewiston.

After a very fun and busy day in Lewiston ( hike, whirlpool jet boat tours) we worked up quite an appetite. After walking up and down Center, I was drawn to the menu at gather. Both outdoor and indoor seating, we chose a table outdoors as it was a beautiful day. Our server was very nice, and answered all questions politely . Extensive wine , beer and whiskey list at reasonable prices . Very intriguing menu options. I will definitely have to go back and try some others . We started with the crab cakes ( made with real blue crab) they were delicious. My dining partner ordered the special , Nashville hot chicken . The chicken was battered with a potato chip coating, it was delicious. I ordered the asparagus / ricotta/ goat cheese flat bread with steak. Though I wish it was a little warmer , the flavors were excellent.

Was excited to try this place on an overnight stop in St Catherine's…read more Stopped by at 5:30pm on a Saturday evening (20 Jul 2024), and... were they even open? There was no one at any tables. There did not appear to be any lights on inside (including the lights of the "Open" sign on the door). There was one older gentleman standing inside, glaring out the window while talking on a phone, but that just made us uneasy to approach the door. Drove by around 7:30pm the same Saturday night. The "Open" sign was lit, but the place looked empty.

Great southern smoked food , unique cocktails and craft beer choices!…read more Shared BBQ BFF platter with my father , every part of it was smoked and rich in flavour. It came with brisket, pulled pork , sausage , chicken, ribs and two sides. The Corn bread melts in your mouth , and the mac and cheese side would even be perfect as a main ! My cocktail "smoke and mirrors", had a strong pear taste with a full brandy body. Definitely needs another staff member or two as the drink specialist was also serving the whole restaurant, taking orders and greeting. Including the outside. Although at times we were waiting , for example to pay as it got busier although we waited a while for our bill and drink refills but, it never felt excessively long even with this crutch. Price for quantity, taste , and its classy ambience and style make this place a must go in St. Catharines, even the whole Niagara Region !

Fabulous first time experience at Fairbanks last Friday night for dinner! Upscale and sophisticated…read moreyet warm and inviting atmosphere. We were greeted by the host who led us to our table in the corner of the dining room. We had a perfect view of the dining room, bar, and kitchen who all looked like they were a great team back there. I love a small menu - you know everything is delicious! Our drinks consisted of: Winter Old Fashioned, Tom & Jerry, Dirty Martini's, espresso martini & the Flip. All were so so good. I was told the Flip was a custom creation by the bartender - was by far my favorite drink (and possibly favorite part of dessert)! Then onto the food... to start: house rolls were a must (we got the chicken liver mousse too but I liked the shallot butter more), and the bluefin tuna crudo and cured ora king salmon were all fantastic, exploding with flavor! For our entrees we did the pork rib chop and the elysian fields lamb saddle. Both delicious! The lamb was so good, however I think the chicory salad was a little too bitter for me. And for dessert we went with the Honey & chocolate, and the Financier (I think that's what they were called). It's like the courses just kept getting better and better.

Such a great evening on my birthday!…read more Only thing was drinks were slow. Like really slow, but our server knew it and made up for it. They're new. I'm sure they'll work it out. However, the drinks were totally different in a great way! Not your average drinks. Very creative. Loved, loved the cucumber dish and the spicey perfect crudo. We didnt order the salmon but recieved it anyway and we were so glad bc it was one of favorites. It was silky salmon on an umami bomb of a sauce. I would say the least successful dish was the white fish (was is halibut or sea bass?!). It was in a curry sauce that was a bit muddled. It was still good but after the bright, fun, summery, perfect crudo, cucumbers and salmon, the curry was just too bland. Loved the service and the atmosphere.
