This was a nice spot to come and have a cocktail before going to a concert. We got in early Friday evening and it was a nice chill environment. Our bartender was very friendly even amongst being the only staff checking on all patrons at the bar (with the exception of what I assume was the manager that helped run items) making sure we were good. A DJ was playing great mixes. The chicken was so good, not crazy about the hot honey or ranch but the other dipping sauce was very good. We ordered fries to go which were alright for the price, was not crazy about the spicy ketchup. I didn't expect that, so it totally took me by surprise and was too spicy for something that's supposed to complement the fries. My cocktail was very tasty though.

A very poor experience. I visited Gather once again for a cocktail, before meeting my dinner guests nearby at Mesa. Provisions. A poor experience at Gather with service and cocktail preparation while being served at the bar. Virtually empty bar & restaurant, 20 min wait and an undrinkable $17.85 house martini. No thanks. Reached out to the co-owner to share feedback - waste of effort on my part, no follow up. I don't think I'll return, unless their capable bartender is working (I think her name is Kelsi).

Food was good and service was amazing! Recommend! Initially went to the connected restaurant but it was shut down early and we were redirected to Gather. Didn't really see anything we were interested in eating so owner said we could order off the restaurant menu. Only criticism is I would have liked to use a physical menu instead of scanning the code.

Absolutely LOVE Gather!! A hometown favorite! Tasty cocktails. They have incredible themed events (specifically their Taylor Swift event)! They had on theme drinks, friendship bracelets making, photo booths, dance space, Polaroids, party favors and such amazing vibes! The owner is so friendly and welcoming! Next time I visit ABQ, this is on my list.

The small plates and taps were simply delicious. Out server was very knowledgeable about the menu items and asked smart questions to surprise us with exquisite cocktails. Absolutely a pleasant experience. I will come back.

I love this new "face" of the old NHBG. One side is cocktails and appetizers and the other, (social house) is fine dining. We went on a Wednesday night, where if you purchase a charcuterie board, you get a bottle of wine for half price! All of the cheeses and meats were lovely and paired well with our wine. Server was knowledgeable about both and very friendly and attentive. They've started doing speciality dinners, so follow their social for schedules. We just attended a champagne and fried chicken dinner (4 courses) that was absolutely heaven. Every sparkling was just perfect and the food more than met my expectations. This may be one of my new go-to places.

I cannot recommend Gather enough! After our rehearsal dinner venue canceled just 3 days before (thru no fault of their own) Dustin and his crew gifted us the most authentic, romantic and delicious rehearsal dinner that we could've ever dreamed of. The staff was so accommodating, and the food was delicious! We had an insanely good family-style meal punctuated with fantastic cocktails and an intimate setting for speeches from our loved ones. Our guests were blown away by the service and atmosphere! Dustin and Gather made the night before our wedding a dream come true (and he did it with less than 3 days to spare!) I cannot thank him and his staff enough. If you're looking for a great meal, delicious cocktail and amazing service...look no further.

In the absence of my beloved Zinc, it's nice to have a stand by in Nob Hill for when we're feeling a little fancy. The ambience in this place is nice, and the food and drink too. It's definitely a serviceable replacement for its predecessor, the Nob Hill Bar and Grill. I had the Catch of the Day for $29. It was salmon, cooked to a nice medium rare, with a crisp to the outside and juicy inside. It was served over a bed of delicately shaved zucchini in some sort of pesto-esque sauce. Husband had the $21 hot beef sandwich, which was disappointingly light on the advertised horseradish, but the beef was pleasingly flavorful, he said. We had a starter of bread and butter than was too lackluster to merit the $6 price tag, but a very reasonably priced coffee and chocolate cake for dessert (it came nestled beside a yummy dollop of pudding). It was rich enough that I couldn't even finish my share of it! The cocktails were... eh. My Pimm's Cup tasted like a lime squeeze, with little other defining flavor. Next time I'll try the sangria.... Always looking for a tasty sangria! Husband got the Gin Rickey, which he neither complained nor raves about. All in all, it didn't quite hit the Zinc standard, alas. (Gawd, I miss Zinc!) But I'd say it fared well enough as its own Little neighborhood spot to get a little more sophistication from your dinner date than fish n chips. I hope this place succeeds, as Nob Hill is getting disconcertingly bad at sustaining long-term businesses! I think it could benefit from one or two stellar menu superstars. Then again, maybe it has them and I just haven't discovered them yet.

Visited Gather on the 22nd of June for an early dinner. We are from out of town but visit ABQ frequently for business. There are plenty to good restaurants in ABQ, but not many great ones! Gather is GREAT!! Chef Joe is extremely creative both in his presentation of his dishes as well as the flavors he creates. It's small plate style so even two people can try many things. And you'll want to here! There's some New American, Mexican and Japanese influences in his dishes. They're all fused together very nicely. We often like to allow our server to order if we feel they can do it. Our server was awesome and it was clear she could deliver. She recommended the following: - Crudite & Dip - We thought "vegetables & dip"? But this was not your mom's vege tray for the family potluck! All I can say is see the photo! Just amazing! - Hamachos (Hamachi Nachos) - Yes you heard that right, yellow tail sashimi nachos! Tough to describe, but again, see the pic. Also amazing! - Pork Belly skewers - some of the best pork belly I've had! Moist & flavorful, but not too fatty. Very good with the puree underneath it. I think it was eggplant? See pic. - Beef Tataki - perfectly cooked tenderloin, moist and very flavorful as well! See pic. - The Baked Potato - Was too excited so forgot to take a pic. But it's not your normal baked potato. Kind of cross between a large tater tot meets a twice baked potato. Again, so good and creative!! - Lemon Thyme Olive Oil cake - Simple and delicious. A great finale to a terrific meal. The owners stopped by to say hello to us, and all of the other patrons at some point in the evening. A cool touch. They're very personable, welcoming and hospitable. We'll be back every time we're in ABQ!!

We've been waiting for this place to open since we first saw the sign a while back. I was very excited to try it after going to 3128 Social House next door. We walked in and were told it was open seating and went to a table that hadn't been bussed yet, so the server cleaned it off for us. We sat down and she immediately asked us what we wanted for drinks but we hadn't even looked at the menu yet so we asked for a few minutes. Those minutes turned into about 15 and people who came in after us were helped and given drinks before we were. Finally one of the other servers came over and took our drink orders. He was very kind. After that we were asked about drinks by another server, still never seeing the first person who helped us. The drinks took a hot minute to come out but they were delicious! I started with the Lavender Bee Tea and it was so unique and refreshing. My next drink was the Bees Knees and it was so tasty. They have something called a buzz button that makes your mouth numb and it was such a unique experience. The original server came back and explained it to us and they became very friendly and open (completely different from when we first arrived). For food we ordered the chicken croquettes (heaven in a ball) and a 7 piece charcuterie board with the servers choice of meats and cheeses. The board was super tasty. We weren't originally satisfied with the service so we went next door to 3128 social house. The owner came over after seeing a previous Yelp review about our experience at Gather and made the moment right. The service is impeccable, the food is amazing, and we will continue to be patrons at this amazing concept in Nob Hill. It's a great place to have a night out with friends and enjoy some tasty drinks and great

I was sad to hear that Nob Hill bar and grill would not reopen. I then heard two new establishments would be taking over and was excited to try them. I didn't realize they didn't open until 4pm and since I was starving we ate across the street while we waited for them to open. My husband and I enjoyed a couple of drinks. The service was great and so were the drinks. I can't wait to come back and try their menu.

Food was really good enough to satisfy appetite. We enjoyed the ambiance not crowded for early evening. The drinks were well made.

Well, just another stellar evening at Gather Nob HIll. This time we pulled together a charcuterie board for "half-price wine Wednesdays" and paired it with Octave Vinho Verde - a perfectly drinkable summer wine from Portugal with just a hint of effervescence on the tongue, recommended by co-owner Dustin. We also enjoyed the unctuous Beef Cheeks served in a beautiful Yorkshire Pudding just dripping with a zesty horseradish sauce. And of course, the Chicken Croquettes - I doubt I'll ever put my butt in one of their chairs without ordering a plate of those. I'll let other reviewers go on and on about the decor and ambiance... the food is my passion, and clearly theirs as well. Nota bene: 3128 Social House next door is now open. Whereas Gather is more of a bar scene with tapas, the Social House has a fine-dining feel with full dinners plus their own bar and signature cocktails. Now you have a choice, and you can't go wrong on either side.

I'm not going to give away the trick to it but it was fun. Once inside we got our spot that we held. I didn't see a drink on their menu that I liked that was rum based, so I asked the kind bartender if they could make me one. I only asked that it be alcohol forward, but that I was good if it was a more fruity drink too. They brought me a concoction that was perfect. It's a real nice place. The ornate ceiling and the beautiful bar added to the regal vibes of the place. I would definite recommend Teddy's; it's one of the best speakeasies in town.

They were both good. Deviled eggs were good and the pickled purple onions were a good touch - though I still haven't come across deviled eggs that are better than my own The special of the day was pork chops. I'm not a pork person but I chanced it anyhow. I'll have to say, it was probably the best pork chop I've ever had. They sousvided it and it came with apple butterand it all worked beautifully. Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. No longer on the menu. My meal was the Pastrami Reuben with fries. I switched out the Swiss cheese for cheddar. I liked the meal, and it was enough to bring half of the sandwich home for lunch the next day. The other two ordered the Crispy Pork Belly & Tomato Jam flat bread. One liked it, the other was just okay with it. Two of us ordered sangria. It was white, which came as a surprise to us. It was less sweet than we prefer. The cocktail menu that the waiter said was "balanced" when he referred to all of their drinks, didn't really hit the spot. The flavors were pretty limited, and we're all very middle of the road. Nothing too exciting or potentially gripping. And honestly, when I come to a tiki bar I want a sugary fruit filled flavor bomb. And they had nothing like that on the menu. My husband is more of a hard cocktail drinker, and he even commented that their offerings felt stilted and not exciting. I would come back at a future date, but I would check the menu first to see if any changes had been made. Very cool location, though!

Daydream Rum Bar is hands-down one of the coolest spots in Albuquerque. We grabbed drinks at the…read moreupstairs bar and the vibe was exactly what we hoped for--totally chill, warm, and the perfect place to unwind without feeling rushed. The cocktails are phenomenal. Each one was incredibly well balanced and packed with bold, delicious flavor. Nothing too sweet or too strong--just thoughtfully crafted drinks that let the ingredients shine. You can really tell the bartenders know what they're doing. Speaking of which--major shoutout to our bartender (forgive me for forgetting his name!). He was phenomenal. Super knowledgeable about rum, clearly passionate about his craft, and gave great recommendations. The kind of service that truly elevates the experience. If you love rum or just appreciate high-quality cocktails, this place is a must. We'll absolutely be back. 10/10 recommend!
