I had to stop in my tracks after trying a sample while at the Yelp event at the Phoenix Children's Museum last week. This scrumptious banana chocolate chip muffin was absolutely delicious! I walked back to thank the vendor who was offering these sweets and talked to a super kind couple at the Gathered Grounds table. It honestly was one of the best muffins I have ever had. Moist, flavorful and it had a harmonious balance between fruit and chocolate! The staff here is very nice and helpful and I love that they have designated parking for their customers. They will come to your car and take your order. They will bring it out. I really wanted to like this place but the burrito was not good at all. There was no flavor and then a mountain of cheese that did not make it taste good. The coffee was good but overly too sweet. Update - Excellent customer service. Gathered Grounds reached out to offer their apologies. As simple as this is it goes a long way. I will be back to try the drinks I have seen so many great reviews about! Update - The peanut butter blondie was a delicious sweet treat. The salted chocolate chip cookie was really good and different. There was a hint of snicker doodle which I really enjoyed. My son said these were VIPs of treats! Guess that's pretty good. The salsa is fantastic. I would purchase that alone. The burritos were quite disappointing. The tortillas were crunchy in spots. I preferred the bacon burrito over the chorizo burrito. For being a reheated burrito, they aren't bad. My issue is the size and price. $9 for that size burrito is just not worth it at all. Again, fantastic salsa. read more

Let me tell you a little story about my coffee hunt I was on the search for coffee at 5pm on a weekday and saw their trailer. I flew across 3 lanes of traffic (just kidding) but they were closed for the evening A woman who said she went there often was on the phone with the owner and we chatted for a bit and I promised to come back I am Sooooo happy I came back If you're wondering why all the pics of the coffee are inside the car it's because they come to your car and take your order. Now that I'm in the know I know you can also order ahead on their website as well Great service She was so sweet while walking me through the menu I got 2 different breakfast burritos because I'm greedy and I love options I took a bite of each one and decided that the chorizo and eggs were my favorite so I gave my boyfriend the bacon one which was still good but it didn't beat the chorizo I also ordered an iced latte with cold foam and a hot white mocha Of course I also took a sip of each and proclaimed the iced latte the victor so the boyfriend got the hot white mocha Make sure to add this spot to your must try list I promise you won't be disappointed read more

Cute little coffee stand! They have you park across and they walk over to your car which I thought was super convenient if you have a baby in the car and don't want to get out. The matcha was good. I think I found my new coffee place! Pulled this spot up randomly on Yelp on the way to work this morning and soooo happy that I did. The medium fire honey iced coffee is to die for, the perfect blend of sweet and savory topped with cinnamon. The service was different than what I'm used to because they are making coffee right out from a truck.... Like a food truck but it's a coffee truck ? Smacked right on the parking lot LOL. One of my favorite coffee shops. The girls are always sweet and bubbly and knowledgeable about their menu. I love being able to park and have the barista come to us to take the order. We don't have to wait in line and get out of the car. My only issue is their hours don't always feel consistent and I wish they were open later... but that part is on me, I am on all day coffee drinker! Definitely recommend checking them out! read more

Had an iced Carmel brown sugar latte. 10/10! Jared was quick to take my order. Basically told me I can create any drink I want. Which lead to the brown sugar and Carmel mix. Went above and beyond to sign me up as a new customer with ease. And didn't do the "gonna ask a couple questions (tip) for you" spiel. My drink was ready in a couple of minutes. This was such a unique experience! Pulled up to the coffee truck with my friend Lori about ready to get out of the car! She said no no they come up to you, take your order, payment, and deliver the drinks/food. You get to be in the comfort of your own car playing your music, podcast, or read an article. I LOVE it. This is Jared, who along with his wife, owns and runs @gatheredgrounds , a tiny coffee truck located at 15800 N Litchfield Rd, Surprise, AZ 85374. We almost missed this cafe on wheels behind the building and are sooo glad we spotted it!! We were doing errands in town and needed a coffee. This was the only place that popped up on Google maps that wasn't a chain and it also had 4.8 stars with lots of reviews. After arriving we realized why this spot was so highly rated. Really good, high quality flavors and ingredients. We were amazed at how delicious the oat lattes are here. Jared mentioned that they also make their own chocolate sauce and peanut butter sauce for mochas and the like. They now have breakfast burritos as well! Everything is locally sourced by a nearby baker daily. Big things do come in small food trucks. Drive through and check them out from 5:00 am - 6:00pm Monday-Saturday !! read more

Wouldn't expect such a delicious caffeinated experience from a coffee truck in Surprise, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Came here after my workout today for a tasty energy boost! I did drive past it at first, but found it pretty easily. Someone came out of the truck to take my order on the iPad as I waited in line. I got the cold brew with foam. I asked what flavor she liked best and she said it was really good with honey, cinnamon, and vanilla. I love all those flavors so I got that! It was incredibly delicious! I often don't finish my cold brews or lattes but this one I actually finished! Creamy, not overly sweet, you can definitely still taste the coffee without it being way too strong. Stopped at this coffee place on a whim while in the area. I am so glad I did because it was soooo good. I can't remember exactly what my drink was called but it was a latte with peanut butter syrup and I want to say white chocolate. Some other ingredients came in it that I opted out of. The person that I ordered from I'm assuming was one of the owners, I could be wrong, but she was so helpful and nice! I mentioned I don't like sweet coffee and she recommended having it made 1/2 sweet. Great drinks with even better customer service! Starbucks who? Taylor and the other girl working at the time were the absolute sweetest! This had been my first time here so I wasn't 100% sure what to get. I told them surprise me and they delivered! I got a cinnamon bun late breve with oatmilk and Oh. My. God... YUM!! The espresso itself is velvety and the flavor combination was soo good! To give you an idea of how good the coffee is, I have a Starbucks 4 minutes from my house, and gathered grounds is 20 minutes away. As somebody who works at starbucks, the coffee is so pricey for not that great of quality. I was just searching for some coffee preferably from a small business and I came across this one that is walking distance from me! The reviews seemed too good to be true, however I was in disbelief how good this coffee actually was. I got a peanut butter mocha with peanut butter chocolate cold foam and oh my gosh, one of the best coffees I have ever had! Starbucks could never. Spend your money here, not starbucks or dutch bros, it's worth every penny! And the ladies were super nice and helpful! They have a rewards program as well which I think is cool! I'm not sure if it's supposed to be a drive thru or walk up.. but I walked up and they said I can wait in my car and they brought the drink to me! Anyway, drink was a 10/10! It's keto friendly AND I don't feel guilty after drinking it. I will definitely get this again maybe larger. I got an Iced mocha made with homemade chocolate for my 17-year old.
