    Somebody needs a snack

I've been to Gatorland several times over the years and have to say it's been a while since we've been here, but it was well worth the visit. I hadn't realized that Gatorland is Florida's oldest attraction and that they were celebrating 75 years, which made our visit that much more special. We actually purchased our tickets for today's visit a year ago at the Oviedo art and music festival. I want to say they were like $12 each which was a steal and an easy way to raise money for the park. I can only imagine how many people forget about the stuff they buy. We picked March because it's warm enough where the gators are active and hungry, but not so hot you don't want to be outside in Florida. If you come when it's too cold the gators enter a state of Brumation (dormancy) and they will not eat for weeks sometimes months. There are over 2,000 gators here so there is no shortage, they also have crocodiles, Cuban alligators, the rarest of them all - the Albino Alligator. If gators are not your thing, I would say you're at the wrong park; however, there are plenty of other animal species to see, including: Florida Panthers, Capybara's, Fox's, a variety of snakes and lizard breeds, kookaburra's, macaw's, Cockatoo's, Flamingo's, Swan's, Ducks and more. Gatorland is a 110-acre wildlife preserve so there is plenty of great birdwatching just about anywhere you look so bring your binoculars if you're a birdwatcher. Varieties you will see include Tricolored Herons, Wood Storks, Great Egrets, White Ibis's, Anhinga's, Roseate Spoonbills, Black-Crowned Night-Herons, and lots of Black Vultures. There are several smaller rides guest can try out for additional costs. They offer a zipline experience, a small train ride through the park, an off-road adventure tour, a rock-climbing experience, a petting and feeding area for gators and other animals, meet and greet with trainers, night shining experiences and much more. We were here about 6-hours and the day went by quick. There was plenty of entertainment and animals to see while visiting the park. There are several places to get food in the park but we brought some snacks from home with us and kept them in the car. Staff will let you run back out to your car you just have to show your wrist band to get back in. They don't provide wristbands when entering, we received our when buying tickets for the train ride ($3 each). We had a great time and it was fun supporting Florida's Oldest Attraction during their 75th year celebration. We will definitely be back!

An unexpected 5-star experience! We came because well, when in Florida, you've got to see a gator! This place is actually a LOT bigger than expected and we spent from around 1030A - 330P with plenty to do and see. They have a regular show schedule, add on experiences, pay for photo ops, and plenty of animals to see. I do recommending going online and getting the greater gator package, especially if it is your first time visiting. Great staff and great place to visit!!

The wife and I had been watching videos for over a month in preparation for our Orlando vacation so today was the day. Arrived after a brief drive from our hotel and they were having the Gator Jump where they have the gators jump for food. There are so many gators there it's incredible. We saw almost all the celebrity gators we've seen on YouTube but our favorite was Jawlene . She's tiny but adorable. We also saw Sultan and Blondie, cute active couple. We were happy to buy drinks and souvenir shirts where the profits go to conserve them. All in all, a great time.

Underrated tourist destination. We really enjoyed this even my in-laws who are local Floridians. We got the upgraded passes which we suggest which allows you to take the train, take photos with the alligators, and feed. Food was really good too, and a bucket list item of trying gator bites (meat) for the first time. Highly recommend for families!

It was really fun. All the gators look fat and happy. Loved the flamingos. The swamp walk was beautiful. We saw, snakes, spiders, turtles and frogs. Wished we had rented wheel chairs. That was a long way to walk in the heat. Rode the swamp gator. Very short and dusty ride. Comfortable seats cute idea not nearly as exciting as they project. Too short a ride. Prices are pretty high. But, it was a good day.

This place was bigger than I expected! There's so much to see and do here - my family really enjoyed our experience. We mainly went for the capybara experience but enjoyed everything else this place had to offer. If you go for the capybaras I recommend getting in line in the petting zoo area early (maybe around 10:30am) to guarantee a chance to buy a ticket.

I had to do a speed-run of this place because I came only an hour and a half before they closed, but it was still worth it! It was fun to see and learn about all the different types of alligators/crocodiles and reptiles. They have birds and a mountain lion as well. At the end of the day, they have an event called "jumparoo" and they have two staff members with a moderator "compete" against each other to see who can get the most jumps from the alligators with raw chicken. There is a small water park area for children as well.

Everything you think old back woods Florida should be - and I mean that in the best way possible! We saw jumping gators and wrangles gators and fed Nile crocodiles and ate gator bites and FED a group of gators all in a couple hours. It's a bonus that Florida residents get 50% this month in January 2026! Very memorable for the family and friends!

Gatorland is celebrating their 75th year.! It is the oldest attraction in Florida. The iconic Gator head out front was built in the 1960s by the owner's son. The Florida residents rate as of March 2026 is around $18. Very affordable. Today we spent 6 hours here and did just about everything except for the zip line and the buggy ride. We did take the little train around You pay an extra $3. We went to three shows and just enjoyed the beautiful day strolling around the park. We got here at 10:30 and left at 4:30 You really need the whole day to see it all. So many gators! Make sure you find the white albino Gators! Very cool they have wide eyes. Parking is free and they also have a restaurant. They have two gift shops one in the front and one in the back. The zipline, buggy rides and the train are extra cost. Bring some cash because you can get your picture taken with a snake, a tarantula or a gator. My sister held the tarantula the cost was $5 she loved it. We brought our own picnic lunch and went back to the car to eat it. They let you come and go which is nice. This place has some shade but mostly in the sun so bring your hat!! Definitely a Florida Gem. I'm glad it's still there.!

What a unique experience. We've been to Orlando more times than I can count and never thought to come here. I wish we'd visited earlier. Our visit stated with a short view of the gators at the opening. However I booked the stompin gator off road adventure ride so we had to rush to the back of the park to meet our time. The ride was a fun short ride through a made up rivals gator park. It gave a closer view of gators. We enjoyed this as an opener to the park. Once done, we walked the entire path reading facts and observing gators in their habitat. There is a feeding area where you can feed smaller gators which my daughter wanted to do. That was a lot of fun and a unique experience. Mom enjoyed watching her experience it . Just be mindful the birds are watchful and will quickly snatch any unprotected fish. There is a walking path that makes you feel like you are walking in the Everglades. Don't miss that. It was both peaceful and scary. We kept expecting gators or snakes on the path and were scared too many times by bugs/spiders. Someone said to try the gator bites but we never found where they were served so that's the only thing we missed. Overall a nice visit but plan something else for the day. It's a few hours type activity not an all day activity.

Great experience (even for locals). This place is so much larger and involves more than we expected. Young kids: petting zoo, train rides, picture ops with gators and shows Older kids: zip line, restaurants, ice cream and more

Absolutely would come back! So worth your time if you're in the area. The prices make sense and there are SO MANY gators! The lot of land is much much bigger than we realized. Our favorite area were the crocs - spent a lot of our time watching them. The show we saw was great and we were able to get photos with the gator after. There's also many other animals to see like farm and birds! Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Train ride was fun, relaxing, and we got to see even more of the park. Highly recommend!

I had the absolute best time at Gatorland!! All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming!! Starting with the ticket counter where I purchased my annual pass! To the people working the snack stands. I also was selected to be in the Upclose Encounters show, where I got to hold a snake!! I also took the train ride where you get to learn about the history of Gatorland while taking a quick tour around it. I love that so many of these animals were rescued and get to live out their lives here. I also took the opportunity to feed the gators, which are just freeze dried treats that the Gators all absolutely love. I honestly cannot wait to come back and spend a day hanging out at Gatorland!!

    Enjoying the views

My wife and I came out here Saturday morning before the rain rolled in and had an absolute blast. For about $50 per person, the adventure park provides approximately 36 obstacles between the two courses. The facility supplies body harness's equipped with fall protection and leather gloves. The staff help gear everyone up then complete a safety briefing. Users can move on to the first course after mastering a few practice obstacles. Safety is up to the user once they begin, however, a staff member monitors from the ground in case there is an emergency. It took us about two hours to complete both courses as a group of 6 people. If you have experience rigging and with ziplines, I highly recommend leading the group. Only one person can be on an obstacle at a time and only two per platform. If you get caught behind someone who has a fear of heights or little to no experience, it will take much longer to get through the course. There are multiple zip lines throughout the course, and some of them are over bodies of water, so secure your phone! Be prepared to work and sweat; the courses include multiple areas where you need to balance, dodge, climb, duck, squat, push, pull, and hold up your own body weight for a duration of time. Wear comfortable clothing and try not to stare as the body harnesses are jammed in everyone's crotch the entire time LOL! Donovan was the staff member who provided training and monitored our group adventure. He was helpful, fun, polite, and enthusiastic; because of Donovan, our overall experience was much more fun and memorable. I would definitely come back to the Daytona Zipline Adventure again.

Honestly, your core strength will be tested on some of the sections. Luckily, our group never held up anyone behind us. So glad we went before the next crowd as the sections can get backed up if you're behind a slow group. Go early and be strategic. Assert yourself to be first in your group if you suspect newbies that might be slower. They have water stations but you do have to pay for that perk. Staffing was unremarkable. They did their job outfitting us briefly and explaining the clips for locking in and unlocking on the course. To conclude, we had a great time and would do it again. My only dislike was that it felt too short.

From the moment we arrived to when we left, everything was really well done. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which set the tone right away. They have a buffet for breakfast and lunch with a good variety of options, so I feel like most people could find something they like. There are also smaller stands with snacks, pizza, and ICEE stations. Now let's talk about the drinks. There is just something about a frozen daiquiri when you're by the water. Highly recommend getting the drink package and trying a few... or all of them if you can handle it. I loved how many different areas there were to explore. Seeing dolphins swimming so close to the beach was actually kind of magical. They also have a monkey island which I was really excited about. It was closed when we got there, but I could still see them from a distance and I loved that. The aviary was really cool too. Tons of birds, but also tons of people. They recommend going first thing when the birds are most active, which we did, but so did everyone else. We got there about 45 minutes after opening and the birds already seemed a little over it. Honestly, I don't blame them. The Grand Reef was such a cool experience. I didn't really know what to expect, and even though it's man made, it still feels really immersive. Some of those rays are huge and have zero fear. They will swim right into you. My guy had never experienced anything like that and he loved it. I also liked that there were shallow areas and deeper sections if you wanted more of a snorkeling feel. The only downside for us was the Wind Away River. There are spots that get deep really fast, and that day they were apparently out of floaties because people were hoarding them and claiming areas. Staff even acknowledged it, which was frustrating because nothing was being done about it. It made parts of the river harder to enjoy than they should have been. Other than that, everything else was great and it made for such a fun day. Also the bar swings were a highlight. Loved those.

We had our own private ambassadors show us around the park and were escorted to the sting ray feeding area . We got our wet suits and lockers . Bathroom is very clean and has plenty of towels . The sting ray feeding was so much fun . The ambassadors are very informative . Trainers will feed the larger manta rays since they are larger and take vitamins but we fed the smaller sting rays which was a lot of fun. Also we got to feed small fish which was a fun treat for us . Monkey island pool - warmest water in the park Tropical river - slightly chilly but overall fun Great reef- chillest but once submerged not bad . Colder due to sea-life . Great reef was amazing , it looks like nothing but once you put googles on it's another world. Highly recommend. All inclusive drinks package - worth the money it can get pricy . Food - buffet style , it was okay . Not great , not good but satisfied appetite . Lots of towels , food all inclusive and a great way to spend time in Orlando !

My family, friends, and I had such a great time and wish that we could have remained on the airboat much longer. This place is located at the end of a very long road. The drive to the property is very quiet and relaxing. The property itself was well-maintained, everything was clearly marked, and the venue itself was fun. There is a gift shop, a snack shop, a food trailer offering hot food, a beverage hit, clean bathrooms, gold mining, and so much more. The employees went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The real reason why you would visit this place is the airboats. Each guest boards the large boats, which can seat 12-15 people at a time. To the rear of the boat sits this huge fan, which controls the boat. Each guest is required to grab a headset or ear protection, as the boats are noisy and loud, and I mean LOUD once they get going. The purpose of the boats is to have fun, of course, but the objective is to look for alligators as you speed through the swamps. During our visit, we spotted nine alligators, and the boat operator stopped so guests could see and experience them up close. The alligators are never disturbed, and they do not seem to mind being watched. Back to the airboats, these things are FAST! The boat operator will have you going so fast on the water, then pull into a complete 360-degree turn when you least expect it. The first time the boat operator sped away from the dock at the start of the tour, you were a tad nervous, similar to riding a roller coaster. After this initial nervousness, you could not get enough of this airboat and only wanted to go fast on the water. I might add that there was a group seated in front of us with a boy between 8 and 10 years old and a young tween girl, and they appeared to enjoy the airboat ride just as much as we adults. This is definitely a fun place for all ages

We were a group of 7 people, and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. We only saw one alligator swimming in the water during the entire tour. Instead of wildlife, the driver mostly showed us horses and cows from a farm across the resort, which was not what we came for. What made the experience worse was that the driver kept intentionally driving us into thick grass areas several times. He also stopped the boat in an area full of mosquitoes/gnats, and we kept getting bitten until we asked him to move immediately. Unfortunately, he repeated this more than once, which made the ride very uncomfortable. Overall, the experience was not worth the money for us. We would not return and would not recommend it.

If you're visiting during a busy season, I highly recommend purchasing an Express Pass--it will save you a lot of time. Also, wear comfortable walking shoes because you'll be on your feet all day. For lunch, don't miss Thunder Falls Terrace. It offers generous portions, good quality food, and excellent value compared to many other restaurants inside the park. I visited with my best friend, and we had an amazing time. If you love adrenaline and roller coasters, this park is a must-visit!

While we had looked at the app with the kids to determine where they wanted to go, we were not very familiar with the map layout of the park and this caused us to lose time getting to some of the rides. We came prepared with crossbody bags with ponchos, fans, cooling towels and collapsible water bottles. I also personally packed liquid IV and some light snacks. I would highly recommend the fans and cooling towels if you go in June because it was soooo hot. I drank water but waiting in line for some of the rides that have an outdoor line truly zaps your energy. I do feel that the lines were managed efficiently and that we got to the rides as quickly as the attendants were able to let us in. I understand that the park is supposed to have multiple worlds but to me, the park is too spaced out and we ended up walking way more than we needed to in order to get to the rides that we wanted to which again was exhausting. Obviously prices were high for an amusement park, which is to be expected and therefore, I tried not to spend money on any snacks or drinks. My bf did buy a refillable cup, which I do think was a good deal.I also recommend bringing liquid IV or something like this or getting gatorade in the refillable cip. Halfway through the day it started pouring down raining and we decided to leave the park at this time, and got soaked heading to the parking garage. A lot of other people were waiting in the stores and while I had ponchos, I feel that I should have gotten better ponchos because those were lightweight and not thick enough to do much against the rain. We went back around 7:00pm when the weather had cleared up. I cannot recommend going in the evening enough, especially during the summer because it is so much cooler. It was also good to go back again during the day or over multiple days because you know where you are going. With the weather it had also made the park less busy and we were able to get into rides with a considerably less wait. I would recommend putting AirTags on your kids if you are going though regardless of how busy the park is just because of how big the park is. Because of the size of the park, the lack of to me clear directions and the lack of more rollercoasters/thrill rides, I am giving this 3 stars. I would go back given the lessons that I have learned to see if it would be more enjoyable.

I've been on this once before in Disneyland when it first opened and once was enough for me. My husband really wanted to go so we went. I figure if it got that bad I could always close my eyes. We had the Premier Pass so it wasn't an issue that we wanted to go spur of the moment. We were in line with another ride and that's when he told me his favorite rides were virtual reality rides like Soarin'. The line to Soarin' wasn't long. We waited less than 15 minutes and the line moved the whole time. There was a large group in front of us so there was a little bit of confusion as they didn't all fit on one row, and at least wanted to be on at the same time so they moved them which took a little bit of time to coordinate. We rode Soarin' and it wasn't bad. I only closed my eyes a couple of times. It really is a magnificent view. My husband said it wasn't as good as the one in Disneyland. I'm glad we rode it, at least my husband can say that and not be like we should have rode it, but didn't.

Now featuring a new United States of America-centric version commemorating our semiquincentennial (props to myself for word use here), Disney proves that this platform is great in any format. The queue has been improved since I last visited, now featuring opportunities to interact with your fellow travelers by way of a U.S. trivia game projected onto the walls. This made for a fun way to keep things lively and interactive while waiting, rather than reverting to self-isolating on phone screens. The video intro is the same as it ever was, except with a new brief intro by Patrick Warburton reprising his air host role. *spoilers follow!* The beginning of this new version is genuinely thrilling, riding alongside the amazing SLS rocket as it takes off from it's launch pad. The size of the screen here and the rumble from the speakers is breathtaking, you feel like you're flying with the rocket. More scenes of the wonderous lands of North America follow, from cities, to national parks, and the characteristic Disney tinkerbell ending. Still a classic after all these years and iterations and a favorite among our group on this day.
