First time here, as a long time resident and honestly this was fun! Lots of the expected such as feeding gators and shoes. I was surprised by the size of the beer garden menu, including many Florida local beers. We payed extra for the "monster truck"style ride in the back, but conjugate to other Florida attractions this was apretty big let down.
We had such an amazing family day at Gatorland! The kids had so much fun from the moment we arrived. It took us a little while to adjust to the Florida heat since it was pretty hot, but once we did, we had an incredible time. There was so much to see and do! We loved the alligators, the exciting shows, the snakes, all the entertainment, and all the beautiful birds. Everything kept our family entertained throughout the day. We also got to feed these small alligator. Around midday, a little rain came through, and it actually made the day even more enjoyable by cooling everything down. It was perfect! If you have little ones, I highly recommend visiting Gatorland. It's a fun, family-friendly place with something for everyone. We made wonderful memories and will definitely be coming back!
After all these years of living in Orlando, I never been to Gatorland until now. Me and the family went for the kid. I found it interesting. I didn't think it was as big from looking at the outside. They have more animals than just Alligators there. My favorite was the 2 Florida Panthers. I was able to get some good photos and videos even in the rain. I can see why people like to go to Gatorland now
Gatorland was such a fun experience! The admission price is pretty reasonable, especially considering how much there is to see and do once you're inside. There are tons of alligators and other animals, different exhibits, and plenty to walk around and explore. It definitely feels like you get your money's worth. It's a great place to visit if you're in the Orlando area and want something fun and different to do from the typical Disney/Universal!
We are in Orlando for a family vacation and this was on our to-do list. I absolutely recommend coming here, especially when they open to beat that heat a little bit! If you plan your day right with cooling towels, water, fans, etc., this is actually a really really fun experience! There's also a splash pad here too! We didn't sign up for anything extra, just general admission. We did buy gator food. It was kinda neat because you could essentially feed them any time throughout the walk! There's lots of signage with literature about the gators and history. We really enjoyed our time here, excited to come back if we're in town again!
I was in Orlando for work and decided to spend my Friday going to the most Floridian attraction I could find. This place was so much fun and did not disappoint! There is so much to see and do there. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the whole place was. I got there right at opening at 10am to sign up for the capybara experience, but the petting zoo did not open until 11am, so the gentleman at the ticketing gate recommended that I line up around 10:55am. The capybara experience was $15, and it includes a 10-minute time slot from 2-3pm to feed and pet capybaras. If that is all you are here for, apparently Gatorland does allow re-entry so you can just reserve a time slot and come back during your assigned time. I would highly recommend this experience if you are even remotely interested. It was a really cool opportunity, and I did not feel rushed or crowded at all during my time slot (12 people total). Other than that, I enjoyed the shows and train ($3 for unlimited rides all day). There are a variety of animals to see outside of just alligators and crocodiles, so I think there is something for everyone. This is an affordable option ($34) for a day of fun that does not involve large crowds. I spent about 4-5 hours here but could have probably stayed longer if it were not so hot. The website says food and drinks are not allowed, but honestly no one checked. Free parking is a plus!
I've been to Gatorland several times over the years and have to say it's been a while since we've been here, but it was well worth the visit. I hadn't realized that Gatorland is Florida's oldest attraction and that they were celebrating 75 years, which made our visit that much more special. We actually purchased our tickets for today's visit a year ago at the Oviedo art and music festival. I want to say they were like $12 each which was a steal and an easy way to raise money for the park. I can only imagine how many people forget about the stuff they buy. We picked March because it's warm enough where the gators are active and hungry, but not so hot you don't want to be outside in Florida. If you come when it's too cold the gators enter a state of Brumation (dormancy) and they will not eat for weeks sometimes months. There are over 2,000 gators here so there is no shortage, they also have crocodiles, Cuban alligators, the rarest of them all - the Albino Alligator. If gators are not your thing, I would say you're at the wrong park; however, there are plenty of other animal species to see, including: Florida Panthers, Capybara's, Fox's, a variety of snakes and lizard breeds, kookaburra's, macaw's, Cockatoo's, Flamingo's, Swan's, Ducks and more. Gatorland is a 110-acre wildlife preserve so there is plenty of great birdwatching just about anywhere you look so bring your binoculars if you're a birdwatcher. Varieties you will see include Tricolored Herons, Wood Storks, Great Egrets, White Ibis's, Anhinga's, Roseate Spoonbills, Black-Crowned Night-Herons, and lots of Black Vultures. There are several smaller rides guest can try out for additional costs. They offer a zipline experience, a small train ride through the park, an off-road adventure tour, a rock-climbing experience, a petting and feeding area for gators and other animals, meet and greet with trainers, night shining experiences and much more. We were here about 6-hours and the day went by quick. There was plenty of entertainment and animals to see while visiting the park. There are several places to get food in the park but we brought some snacks from home with us and kept them in the car. Staff will let you run back out to your car you just have to show your wrist band to get back in. They don't provide wristbands when entering, we received our when buying tickets for the train ride ($3 each). We had a great time and it was fun supporting Florida's Oldest Attraction during their 75th year celebration. We will definitely be back!
An unexpected 5-star experience! We came because well, when in Florida, you've got to see a gator! This place is actually a LOT bigger than expected and we spent from around 1030A - 330P with plenty to do and see. They have a regular show schedule, add on experiences, pay for photo ops, and plenty of animals to see. I do recommending going online and getting the greater gator package, especially if it is your first time visiting. Great staff and great place to visit!!
Underrated tourist destination. We really enjoyed this even my in-laws who are local Floridians. We got the upgraded passes which we suggest which allows you to take the train, take photos with the alligators, and feed. Food was really good too, and a bucket list item of trying gator bites (meat) for the first time. Highly recommend for families!
The wife and I had been watching videos for over a month in preparation for our Orlando vacation so today was the day. Arrived after a brief drive from our hotel and they were having the Gator Jump where they have the gators jump for food. There are so many gators there it's incredible. We saw almost all the celebrity gators we've seen on YouTube but our favorite was Jawlene . She's tiny but adorable. We also saw Sultan and Blondie, cute active couple. We were happy to buy drinks and souvenir shirts where the profits go to conserve them. All in all, a great time.
Everything you think old back woods Florida should be - and I mean that in the best way possible! We saw jumping gators and wrangles gators and fed Nile crocodiles and ate gator bites and FED a group of gators all in a couple hours. It's a bonus that Florida residents get 50% this month in January 2026! Very memorable for the family and friends!
It was really fun. All the gators look fat and happy. Loved the flamingos. The swamp walk was beautiful. We saw, snakes, spiders, turtles and frogs. Wished we had rented wheel chairs. That was a long way to walk in the heat. Rode the swamp gator. Very short and dusty ride. Comfortable seats cute idea not nearly as exciting as they project. Too short a ride. Prices are pretty high. But, it was a good day.

First off, this place is bigger than it looks. You can spend a full day here and not get to experience everything. Completely worth it, and so uniquely different from the usual theme park fare here in the Orlando area, that it demands, no, REQUIRES a visit at least once. The staff is fantastic. Friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. My only regret is that we did not get to meet Savannah and her usual crew from the Gatorland videos on YouTube. The animals on display are amazing, and worth a look as there are some truly unique ones, particularly Mystic the Leucistic (white with blue eyes) which is one of seven alligators in the world who are leucistic. There is also Jawlene, who was a rescued gator, missing her top jaw. There are gators a plenty, but there are also flamingos, a variety of cats, and capybaras also on display. All animals look to be well taken care of. I would have easily stayed all day if it weren't for the heat as the day we went was a real scorcher! That said, we quite enjoyed Gatorland, and were very impressed by the experience, even my non-gator fans in the family! We will definitely be happy to return! read more

I have been to Orlando several time and I have always wanted to go to Gatorland so I decided it was time. I love Gatorland! It's the bomb! If you love crocodiles, alligators, and native Floridian animals then this is the place to go! It's a great place to take the family too. I could have spent hours admiring the saltwater crocodiles especially Dundee and the Cuban crocodiles! Ricardo is my favorite. Shout out to Mike Hallerman and Savannah! Gatorland is a must if you are ever in Orlando and want to get away from Disney. Oh.... There is parking which is great. Will be back! Croc's rule! read more
This is my first time here at Gatorland. There was a lot to see. They have many many gators including albino ones and babies. Also there were several types of the species. They had exotic birds, snakes, horses, and several other animals. I believe they're all rescued. There were a variety of shows including the one we watched, Gator wrestling. Fun show. They could use more restroom facilities and signage wasn't clear for them. It seemed clean and kept up. A great place for kids. A lot of activities for them. read more

We had a blast at Gatorland. There is so much to do. We did Trainer for a Day and learned so much about all the animals. We also did the Zipline, train ride, monster truck ride, hand feed the alligators, etc. Food was delicious as well and reasonably priced. My husband chickened out on Zipline but sat at the restaurant and had several cold beers. We highly recommend coming here. read more

Pros: gators everywhere. You'll be over it after visiting gatorland. Cons: There are too many warning. If I want to try to pet a gator and lose my arm, that's my prerogative. (j/k please don't try to pet the gators) When I think of Florida I think of disney world, oranges, and alligators. If you've never seen one, come here you'll see hundreds of them of all ages. I think it's worth visiting at least once, Fed the gators. You buy bait $5 for 3 small sardine sized fishes or $20 for like... 15 fishes. They give you a wooden 3 foot wooden dowel with a rope, clip, and a long weed wacker plastic string. You use the plastic string to pierce the sardine's body and hook the loose end to the clip. You lower the fish over the fence and lure the gators to eat the fish. The staff encourage you to try to make them jump. My 4 year old son was over it after the 3rd fish. I had 2 tries and wife had 1. The rest we just lobbed them to the gators. If I was to do it again, I'd probably do 6 small fishes for $10. The set up to attach the fish to the fishing line was probably the most time consuming part-- also stinky and kinda gross. Some of the things that were intersting to me is that you only get to feed the 4-5 year old gators. They're the size of medium size golden retrievers. They're cute because of their size but I really wanted to feed the bigger gators. However, the staff were like... "don't feed the big gators or they'll pull you in" nuff said cause I didn't want to die. I totally believe them because after feeding the small ones, I realized they're pretty strong already small tug enough to brace myself. My hands smelled so fishy that it only came off with alcohol based hand sanitizor. took pictures with a baby gator. Man they feed so weird! skin was scaly and they were surprizingly heavy. They instructed me on how to hold the gator. The baby gator was very docile. I was expecting it to flop around like a fish and whip me with it's tail. The croc handlers were great at sensing my fear and assured me that I was ok. The fee was about $10 to take a pic. They took offical pictures with their camera but we were able to take pictures with our phones as well. Not sure what happened to the offical pictures as we never got them. I was probably just focusing on getting my heart rate down that I forgot about the offical pictures. We only stayed for about 30 minutes because we arrived near closing. I'd come again because we missed a few shows and some other attractions. No read more
Went here the first time as a kid in the 90s, while on a family trip and almost 30 years later. While on a family trip with my own kids, I brought them here to share with them a core memory from my childhood. A lot of Gatorland is how I remembered it; the large Gator mouth entrance. The Alligator wranglers, the white Alligator, the Alligator & snake photo area, and the Alligator feeding show. Although my boys are a little older, they definitely enjoyed Gatorland as well. And I'm glad they got the experience while in FL on vacation. read more

There are a lot of mediocre tourists traps in this town but this ain't one of them! Very clean, animals are clearly taken good care of and every staff member was super friendly. I'd come back for sure. read more

The nostalgia here is so real. I really enjoyed coming back here as a Florida resident with my friend over spring break after visiting the park for the last time a little over ten years ago. We got the greater gator package and I was also able to get a nice Florida resident discount. Happy with the Legends of the Swamp show and also the "cookies" that guests are given to feed gators around the park. One thing that was a little annoying was that the train was shut down multiple times when we were there. On top of this, it felt like the park keeps trying to shove paid add ons to your purchased admission fare. Between the paid pictures at every point and the overpriced food, Gatorland is definitely a theme park! Highly recommend for families with children and also florida natives lookin for a bit of nostalgia! read more
Gatorland is everything you want it to be and more. My husband and I spent a day here on our Florida honeymoon. You could probably spend two days here if you really wanted to. I mean, not two whole days. You can't spend the night. You have to leave and come back. We spend 3/4 of a day here and didn't get to everything. We took our time enjoying the shows and feeding the gators. We really had a good time. They have a very affordable all inclusive pass and you can get more gator food and do different things. It's very affordable. It's a lot of fun. The employees were all really kind and helpful. The park was clean. read more

This was hands down the happiest day of my life. In the last year i have been to Universal studios+Islands, Disney Magic Kingdom+Epcot and I wasn't even a FRACTION of happy as I was today. Gatorland was a life changing experience for me! I had the chance to feed alligators and the cutest birds! My husband volunteered for the show and I was SHOCKED when they brought out a real life snake and put it in him to hold! And on our way to the other show Myles from Michigan working the pretzel cart made my day and brought me to tears in how sweet he was. He was just the kindest boy I have ever meet and same for the boy giving away the fish for alligator feeding. The staff here is absolutely amazing and just made my day amazing. They were so sweet and attentive I was in awe. The Legend Show was also a blast and my husband was able to MOUNT an alligator!! It was so much fun. This place was clean, and has so much beautiful sites. Major shoutout to my girl Jawlene she's perfect. Always protect animals no matter how big or small, today was truly beautiful. read more
Genuine Florida family fun -- with affordable prices, welcoming staff, fun shows, nature walks, off road rides, zip lining and more. Gatorland is a FANTASTIC, old Florida attraction with numerous local resident discounts a year. (Currrently $16.50 for Florida residents). Kids go nuts over the exhibits, and there are up close moments, even opportunities to meet and touch rare and exotic animals. We also love their seasonal offerings, Halloween and Christmas offer fun seasonal changes to the park for no additional money. At Gatorland, we feel welcomed and not chased for our wallet. We have visited 5+ times and will again many, many more times. read more
I am completely shocked by how much I enjoyed passing an afternoon here. I was expecting a little side of the road tourist trap but Gatorland is anything but. For starters the entire land is a conservation. The gators are rescues or at least all protected because of this. I actually learned so much about the state of Florida on the nature walk Gatorland has through a swamp. I don't want to spoil much more about this but the show where we got to watch the guy (Ernie!!) wrangle some gators was INSANE. All of the attractions were also super easy to get to and wander around and I would really recommend. Parking was very ample as there's a whole overflow lot. I thought about doing the zip line but for double the park ticket it didn't seem worth it - there looked to only be three zip line towers anyway which made me feel like we made the right call to not do it. If you're ever passing by I highly recommend it for all ages!!! read more
As a Florida resident and older parents coming into town, Gatorland was a great option for family time. The area is very large and you can "get lost" in all the walk areas. The animals are beautiful and appeared to be well taken care of. There are a lot of "add-on" activities such as zip lining, riding a train, and animal interactions/ feeding that I would recommend looking at the website in advance to see if you can either book those activities ahead of time, or include them in your admission ticket to save some money. They have a water section for younger children so there is something for all ages. My favorite area as the swamp walk where it's a nature preserve section. read more

Such a cool place to be! My group of friends went to Florida for a Disney World trip, and we were trying to find something to do for one of our "rest" days. Gatorland was within 25 minutes of our Disney World hotel so it worked out. It was such a cool experience. There were multiple swamps to look at, and so many different breeds of the gators. They even had shows to watch. They had an opportunity to feed the gators, which I highly recommended. You can easily spend at least 3 hours here, and still be entertained. A classic Florida adventure with lots to see and do Gatorland was such a fun and unique place to visit--I spent several hours there and enjoyed every minute. A friend recommended it, and I'm glad they did. It's easy to get to, with plenty of parking and a relaxed, friendly vibe once you're inside. The park is full of gators and crocodiles of all sizes, plus rare white alligators, birds, snakes, and even a petting zoo. One of the highlights for me was riding the Gatorland Express train, which loops around the park and gives you a great overview of everything. I also climbed their three-story observation tower, which overlooks the main alligator lake--what a view! You can see hundreds of gators sunning themselves or swimming around. The layout is well thought out, with shaded areas, walking trails, and plenty of spots to stop and take pictures. There are shows throughout the day, like the Gator Jumparoo, that are both fun and educational. The staff was helpful and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do. Gatorland feels like a classic piece of Florida, with just the right mix of wildlife, entertainment, and charm. I'd definitely recommend it for families, animal lovers, or anyone looking for something a little different from the big theme parks. read more
We had a great time at Gatorland! Fun, informational, exciting - we all did the zipline and it was AWESOME! Where else can you see the BIGGEST and rarest gators around, snuggle capybaras, zoom over a gator pond, and even eat some tasty gator nuggets?!?! No where else but Gatorland! Birds, fish, reptiles, rodents...Gatorland has something for everyone! The staff is friendly, polite and helpful and genuinely seem to care for the animals. Yes, everything is an add-on cost to general admission, but if it helps preserve this place, I'm all for it! This is a unique, family-friendly wildlife experience you'd only get in FL! read more

We were looking for something to do & this place was recommended so we figured why not. Entrance tickets are very reasonable we arrived , came in right away since there were no lines. First we grabbed a bite to eat, Chili cheese hot dog was good & so was the Mac & cheese w pulled pork not bad. Drinks we had the Nutrol seltzer good as well. After having some food we were ready to explored, immediately u are greeted by some gators , small ones in like a feeding area. U got the birds all around hoping to snatch a fish. As u head in u are surround by more gators pretty wild, big ones too pretty cool to walk around & explore at your own pace. We saw several large gators, a few different types & the very cool albino gators cool to see. small baby gators, they also have a variety of other animals, enough to entertain. Crazy zip line across the gator pond was whoaaa .. but hey to each its own! When heading out u go thought like a swamp area, nice to see. This a nice size park, a nice way to spend an afternoon, it was a pleasant surprised visiting gator land. read more

A surprisingly good time! To be honest we only went here cause a family member was visiting and wanted to go, but it was well worth it and I would definitely recommend it and go again myself. There is plenty of things to do that will take up a good day. Animals to see, feed and / or pet (some activities require an additional fee but many things are included as well). Food stops and snack stations are located throughout which was good for the little one that's always snacking. Shows were happing at scheduled times in various areas so be sure to check the listings when you arrive, many are super fun to watch and enjoy! We opted for the capybara and zip line add on adventures. I would definitely recommend both! Such fun photos and memories. Overall: A+ Great fun and worth a visit. Would recommend. read more
It's the most amazing fun experience I have ever been to. I have so much fear from gators but hey I am in Florida so I had to go and see them in controlled environments. So I was expecting like a very small park with couple of alligators. Was I wrong it's huge place so plan to spend at least 3hrs there. We had to rush through it as we only have 90 min. We started with the cute little babies then as well walked through the park we started to see the bigger and then bigger and then they aren't cute anymore they are scary. I have never ever in my life have seen alligators so this made me do something from my bucket without being scared for my life. The tinny food court they have there is cute and the ladies were super helpful for my diet restrictions cuz of my allergies. They chatted with us and we had a good laughs. It's definitely place I wanna come back to and spend more time and see everything. Oh yeah and we got to meet in person the capybara. Omg they are so cute and precious. There was birds as well that you just wanna spend one hour looking at them and connecting with them some how. Go and have fun and let me know what was your factory. read more

As a born and raised city girl who tends to think she's better than everyone else because she was born and raised in said city (it's a habit I'm breaking because I hate it), I was skeptical when my husband wanted to visit Gatorland. As we parked at the very nice lot with free parking and walked up to the front of the park with a large gator head to pose in, my skepticism remained. I got cheap, Disney knock off gift shops in Kissimmee vibes... but as soon as we stepped into the park (after having my ticket scanned by two VERY nice employees), I was in awe. The place is SPOTLESS, very well maintained, and downright beautiful. These gators are livin the DREAM: plenty of land to roam, water to swim, food at their beck and call... celebrities in the 1% don't have it this good. I thought we'd be able to see the place in a couple of hours... we were there from 10-5 and I could have stayed longer! Even my teenagers had a blast! Some of negatives is the speaker on the train was unbearable and needs to be fixed, lots of things are cash only, and the refillable mug IS paid refills, .99 cents for the big one... but still worth it (especially if you are locals like us who bought the annual passes before leaving). The shows are a RIOT and every single employee I interacted with was amazing. To people who wanna cry and complain about "uggh, the treatment of these poor animals " need to take their virtue signaling somewhere where people will fall for it. One look on their website and time spent in the park will tell you this place LOVES and RESPECTS these creatures and has done so much good for them, it's incredible. So take that stuff elsewhere. read more

Recently visited Gatorland in Orlando with my son. I bought tickets online ahead of time to cut down on wait time but still you have to wait in line with people who are purchasing tickets in person. Upon entering, I expected this place to be small but I was proven wrong. They offer more than just gators. Birds, reptiles, bob cats, etc. We saw so many gators, even some of them being fed. They offer pictures with a baby gator for $10. They also have multiple food stands if you're hungry. I definitely recommend coming here especially if you have kids! If I'm being honest... I had more fun at Gatorland than I did at Disney world. I was visiting from Hawaii and we don't have a lot of animals that they do in Florida. It was cool seeing all those gators and snakes. The kids and I actually got to hold a snake and hold a gator. It was surprisingly a fun day there. read more

I went to an event where Gatorland offered discounted tickets (about 12 dollars) for admission. The regular price is about 35 dollars, so it was a bargain. Unlike the major parks, the parking is always free and pretty easy to find. There are no metal detectors or Evolv weapon scanners, so you are inside the park after buying your ticket. Upon entering, there a lot of alligators to see and feed. You can buy fish with a pole to train smaller gators to jump and catch the food. If you go further down, there is a place to buy gator chow and feed the larger gators. While alligators are the main attraction, there are other animals to see like snakes, farm animals, birds, and big cats. There is a small water play area for the kids, a natural swamp area, a train ride, and even an observation tower. If you take your time walking the whole park without seeing any shows, you should be able to finish within 2-3 hours. There are 3 shows that Gatorland offers. The first one is the Gator Jumperoo, where gators jump high to catch raw chicken meats. The 2nd one is an up close encounters where lucky people (or unlucky) can hold snakes and spiders. The most popular one is the Gator Wres...er...Legends of The Swamp show. A trainer will wrestle a gator in the arena and talk about alligators to the audience. There are many other activities available for an extra charge. I bought a package for 14 dollars extra to feed the gators (4.50), ride the train (3), and meet a gator at the arena (12 dollars). There were ample amount of chow to feed the gators and the gators seem to enjoy it. While I didn't do the train ride, I did wait in line to meet the gator at the arena. There were a lot of people who wanted to do this, and it is a pretty short experience. You go inside the arena and straddle a real alligator for a photo up (the gator mouth is taped shut). If you are lucky enough and willing to get your pants dirty, you can sit on its back for a couple seconds. Other experiences not included in the package that cost extra are feeding barn animals, zip line rides, holding other animals, and even feeding gators up close. The extra activities are a cash grab, but what do you expect from tourist attractions? And lets not forget the photos are not included in the experiences. If you can't afford (or don't want) to sit on a real alligator, you can sit on a statue alligator near the entrance for free. One you are done with the shows, activities, displays, you exit to the gift shop. If you like alligators, this is an attraction to visit. To be able to see, feed, and even hop on a real alligator is a huge attraction. But if you don't care for gators, then you may get a little bored. There is a small counter service restaurant as well, but the food is attraction expensive. The staff/trainers are pretty friendly and helpful, and you can spend a half day enjoying everything. Country and rock music is played throughout the front area of the park. While the activities can be expensive, parking is free and there are many discounted admission prices to visit the park. A nice place to visit if you are tired of the visiting the mega parks (Disney, Universal SeaWorld) in the Orlando area. read more
Not worth the money. Unless you have a child who loves gators aged under 8. 1. Entrance fee is about $60 for 1 adult and a child. You see some gators and that's it. 2. Extra $25 will get you a chance to feed a gator and get a decent picture. This is worth it, but you are. doing it for 80$ technically. For 1 picture and to throw 2 chicken legs. 3. $5 cash will get you a chance to take a picture with a snake. 4. If you feel like snacking, they have dole whip by the exit. Really good. Gatorland, "Old Florida" at its best! No long lines, great entertainment shows throughout the day. Bird aviary, petting zoo, zip line, feed the gators, train ride, monster truck ride through the 110 acres, all size crocs and alligators. You can have your picture taken with a python or if you prefer to sit on an actual gator. This costs extra, including feeding the gators or birds. Free parking but come when the park opens. No long lines, but only one ladies restroom. When I was there only one stall out of two were working in the ladies room. Will return again! read more
