My Wife and I were there around 5 on 4/4/22. We believe the onion Pedals gave us Food Poisoning! Very sick for two days. Today Wednesday better but very weak. 1st and foremost, the bartenders, Larkin and Desiree are the friendliest and hardest working bartenders in Brownwood...especially during football season. Wings are delish. The problem is the air conditioning has been out for the past few days. Not sure how the cooks are doing it. My husband and I visited last week. There were only 2 other tables occupied in the restaurant, it was basically a ghost town. My husband ordered a beer and we planned to look at the menu for a moment and order dinner. Instead our server disappeared for 40 minutes - Completely out of sight. Again, the restaurant was empty so she should not have been hard to locate. We had to ask the hostess to cash out on our beer so we could dine somewhere else. The hostess made us describe in detail who our server was, then she brought her out from the back. The manager followed but was totally disengaged. The server did not say a word but scowling, handed us the check (which we should not have had to pay) as if we had bothered or offended her. This was some of the worst customer service we have ever encountered. Perhaps we dodged a bullet not eating here. If you're hungry, go to City Fire just around the corner instead. read more

I ordered 25 boneless wings and they were super small, kinda unimpressed with it. What little bit of food I did get was good though. just wished that for a dollar a chicken nugget it would have filled me up. Plus I ordered extra garlic sauce on them and only got an extra ranch. Stopped in today to grab a quick beer and sit on their patio. I realize they are busy due to the football games but as I approached the bar that had empty bar stools the bartender yelled at me "I only have time to take care of customers sitting at the bar. You have to wait until I have time!" I had not yet said a word, but I left immediately. If the bartender was too busy he could of said that nicely and not yelled at me as if I did something wrong. We came in wanting something different and we hadn't eaten there before. Our Server, Muzi who was most attentive and pleasant. He answered our multitude of questions about the menu offerings. We ended up ordering the Combo Platter of appetizers which was a good call, it had mozzarella sticks w/marinara sauce, we chose Terriyaki chicken fingers (whuch were most excellent) & Southwestern EggRolls w/a delicious Spicy Sauce. We did request Blue Cheese dressing to go with the chicken fingers, which we adore. We split all of these goodies & then split the main course of Chicken Cordon Blue which was woderful. Beneath the chicken, ham & sauce were the mashed potatoes which were great as was the freshly cooked broccoli. Muzi kept my Iced Tea glass full and my husband liked his Yuengling. We were thoroughly full at the end of our meals and so enjoyed them immensely. We recommend this restaurant and please ask for Muzi, as your Server. The zombie apocalypse is coming, you will miss all four, so case closed! Gators Dockside has TV to watch those football games you say you're striking on. The Staff is very nice, the beer is very drinkable and they have is very good food. So why the two stars, I don't know, they fulfilled my requirements. read more

We arrived for a late lunch. We chose to sit out side. The weather was beautiful. Our server Destany arrived promptly to take our drink orders. So glad they sell Diet Pepsi. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and my husband ordered the Philly cheese sub. The meal arrived quickly and it was delicious. Everything was hot. I noticed from the time we walked in until the time we left all the employees were very friendly. Will definitely return again. read more

5 star review for this establishment. We have over 60 people in our group and the service has been fantastic. We get together every game day to watch the MI State football game and this is our first time at Gators Dockside at Brownwood. I hope we make this a regular stop. Amazed at how well the servers can keep up with us. The food and drinks are great. But even more important are the 10 HD TVs sounding our group. Excellent! The Service here is outstanding. The staff is super friendly. The building is very clean. As are the bathrooms. Looks like it may be brand-new. I was traveling through on a work trip. I ordered the turkey burger without a bun and in in a lettuce wrap. The manager came out a few minutes later and asked me how I would like that prepared. I guess it can be confusing sometimes. The turkey burger was amazing. There were avocados and a special wasabi sauce on it. Side salad had cheese and bacon. It was very fresh. Overall A great experience. I have been to several around the greater Orlando area, and the location in the Villages was no different. For a Saturday, we got a table pretty quick. We were there between lunch and dinner, so I wasn't too hungry. Plus I was heading to a movie and didn't want to fill up too much and be uncomfortable during the movie. Our server was extremely friendly and smiled the entire time. I only ordered a side salad and 6 wings. For it not being busy, the salad to quite a long time to arrive. And with a couple of minutes, my wings were delivered. With not even half way through my salad, I had to switch to the wings to keep them from getting cold. Regardless, the salad and wings tasted good. When it came time to pay the bill, the server brought the bill promptly, but was delayed in getting my card for payment. To the extreme if having to find her and get her to process it at her workstation. The appearance of the restaurant was clean and appropriately decorated for the area. I only frequent Gators occasional now. I prefer to seek out local mom and pop places. But don't let this stop you from coming here to enjoy watching a game and getting good wings. read more

This place is so slow. We were there with 8 people at lunch and while I realize this a somewhat large party, the service was really bad. It took forever to place our drink order and get our drinks. We finally ordered our meals after being there for about 25 minutes. Then an hour later the food showed up. Appetizers like chips and salsa also showed up at this time. So I skipped the dressing. I later told the manager to have the kitchen check their bleu cheese supply because the are sending out ranch. He said there was nothing he could do about it now.
