I have been coming to this location for years. Not only myself going here but my family and friends as well after I recommended them. The doctors care here is excellent and in the past the front of house was also giving excellent customer service. Present day that this is not the case. I had my appointment in the end of January for my eye exam and purchase of glasses. I was quoted 7 to 10 business days to recieve them. On the 10th business day I called to get an update on when they would be in. Whoever answered the phone gave me so much attitude for asking a simply question. I was shocked. They told me that they never quoted 7 to 10 business days, it had only been 9 days according to their system, and that they always quote 10 to 14 days. They said that they will call when my glasses were in and hung up on me. Another week later I called back for an update, because at this point it had been 15 days according to their plan. They said that the glasses were not correct when they arrived and had to be sent back. When I inquired about why I was not inform of this they could not provide an answer. I was quoted another week. I tried to call a week later and got no response. Now 6 weeks have gone by at this point. I have to call them again because they do not know how to pick up a phone clearly. I was informed that my glasses have been waiting for me. When I asked why wasnt I informed, they said that a manager had to call me back to give an explanation. I never got that call. Now I had to wait another week on top of this to go pick up my new glasses because they didnt have any openings. The fact that I had to wait another week to pick up was outrageous. When I finally did get my glasses, they didnt apologize or anything to make up for the fact that I had to wait 7 weeks for my medical device. My advice, fire the front of house staff. Clearly training on customer service isnt a priority when it should be. As someone who has worked in retail for most of my adult life, this is just unacceptable. I would never treat a paying customer this way. Let alone a customer with medical needs. read more

I visited the office to resolve an incorrect charge of $125.00. Upon arrival, I was informed by staff that I could not be assisted without a prior appointment, despite the urgent nature of this billing error. The staff's refusal to discuss the matter or provide a timeline for resolution was unhelpful and dismissive of my concerns as a customer". I attempted to resolve this in person to avoid further delays, but I was turned away without assistance". "I found the lack of professional assistance during my visit concerning. I would appreciate it if management would review the customer service protocols at this location to ensure that billing disputes are handled with more transparency and urgency in the future". Be very careful when filling out information on their digital tablet on your office visit. Do not sign the tablet in their office because it gives them authorization for add on's you don't want. Once you sign your name on their tablet your responsible for all charges. A general signature is not a "blank check" for unauthorized add-ons. The merchant will refuse to produce a digital copy of add on's you have refused. Even if you check no to the specific add on they will charge you for the add on you did not want by ignoring your request. I never checked an add on coating for my glasses and wrote no extras they did it anyways and they refused to correct the situation saying they don't accept returns. Did not realize this at the time because they don't give you a receipt when you pay. I found out from my insurance carrier. Just think of all the seniors who don't pay attention. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. "Thank you for the response, but it appears to be a generic template that does not address my specific issue regarding me being overcharged. To clarify, my concern is the lack of empathy. Because the previous reply did not provide a solution for this, I would like to escalate this matter to a supervisor or a specialist who can provide a personalized resolution. Update 3/2/26 I received a call from Gatti Vison trying to record a phone call with me without my knowledge fabricating what never happened saying she was the person that helped me which is totally false. "The merchant is relying on a general digital signature from October 16, 2025. However, I explicitly declined the $125 coatings. The owner, who was not present at 11 AM, is now impersonating the staff to 'verify' a charge I refused. I demand to see the itemized work order created at 11 AM that shows my signature specifically next to the 'Coatings' line item." "The merchant's claim that I verbally agreed to these charges is false. The individual who called me, identifying herself as the owner, was not the person who assisted me at their place of business. She has no firsthand knowledge of my visit or any alleged agreement." March 3rd updateL This is my final response to Gatti is Vison: Your email lacks the itemized authorization for the coatings. A signature alone does not prove I agreed to the specific add-on unless those items are clearly listed on the same signed page. The itemized page that shows the coatings and their associated costs have never been given to me. While you have my signature for the general exam I did not authorize additional coatings and you have again failed to produce this document showing that specific charge that was disclosed to me and agreed upon at the time of signing. The signature you have provided is incomplete without the corresponding list of services. I have explicitly asked for the digital itemized page that shows the specific $125.00 coatings which you say I authorized. While you have my signature for the eye exam and lenses I did not authorize additional coatings and stated that very clearly on your digital tablet which was no extras. You have yet to produce a document showing that specific charge was disclosed and agreed upon at the time of signing before I even had my eye exam. Your lack of disclosure to explain the cost of the coatings upfront constitutes a lack of transparent billing and I am now disputing this charge based on unauthorized services. I will continue to dispute the validity of this charge. Save your money. Got my kids glasses here, first of all the first eye Dr's prescription was changed by another's 3 weeks later. Okay cool, wait on the replacement lenses. They finally get them in and when I go and take the kids to get their new lenses and the glasses fitted they put the same lenses in as the first time. So now another 1 hour drive (30 min in each direction) and I don't own a car. Then when the frames needed to be replaced and I was lucky to go in and get them done I asked if they would bend the arms the way the previous ones were as I could not bring my kiddo in that day and they were the same frame. We'll they broke again as they did not bend them properly abs my son is autistic so they flew off his head and broke. Go in to deal with that and basically shit out of luck. Their office manager Alex didn't give the full information on what could possibly be done UNTIL I came back in and wanted a copy of my son's prescription. Basically I will have to take the hit even when they made more than one mistake. Save your money! Go buy them online, you'd be better off. Between the gas and time wasted and having to beg to borrow someone's car to go and deal with this bologna, just buy em online. I don't think you fully read what I said. As I mentioned having to come back as y'all put the dame lenses in after I came in to get the new ones swapped. I was also told I would be called yesterday in regards to if one thing could be done... I'm writing this part 2 days later. Also the condescending tone that was used towards me was not okay or appreciated but left out of the initial comment as I was trying to give just the mistakes itself. I waited an hour for the insurance information and had been given different information on a couple of my visits. Y'all were busy so honestly the wait wasn't even an issue. I bring my 96 year old mother who suffers from age related macular degeneration to Dr. Dunn's for her eye care. We are usually seen within 5 minutes of the appointment time and Dr. Dunn is very patient and caring. Dr. Dunn monitors my mother's eye condition for changes using state of the art equipment. She explains her findings to my mother in language she can understand and suggests ways for my mother to deal with her loss of vision that are helpful and easy. Read ALL the 1 Star Reviews! Do not go here! I am SO sorry I went with a Groupon! The common experience of being 'upsold' is prevalent. The common theme of finding this a bad experience makes it a Groupon NOT to buy. Sure it says $200 off glasses - but that isn't going to create any savings, really. I thought the whole exam was covered in the price of the Groupon. It isn't. It was an additional $55. For sure, they will try to upsell you on their other 'added' exam features. Guessing Dr. Dunn will also scare you that you have Blepharitis, and want you to purchase THEIR eye drops, THEIR heat packs - telling you that a warm washcloth won't do the trick. (I had my own heat pack already for my eyes and still they asked why I wasn't buying one.) I have NEVER in all my many years of visits to eye doctors, optometrists and getting exams have I ever encountered someone who had the 'bedside manner' that this chick did. She was hopped up (apparently) on a 4 quad Starbucks, she talked so fast, it was hard to even keep up with her, she overstepped the norm of telling me how bad my eyes were. She actually shamed me. (I know because I am a counselor.) She is a representative of an ocular product company - and I am imagining, takes it very seriously. So much so, that she takes herself too seriously. Just for the record, I have asked other opticians and eye doctors what they thought of what she said, how she treated me and the follow-up ... they were all pretty appalled. As a Dr. I do believe she is knowledgeable - however - as a practitioner of medicine - she has a LOT to learn about patient rapport, being kind, etc... Rapport Skills unfortunately in the medical industry can be lacking. She's got a good case of it in the lacking dept. If you as a Dr. can't see that the patient is visibly nervous or isn't following what you are saying or is questioning something - the reaction shouldn't be to get frustrated with them, to shame them or to outright ignore the visual acuity of what is going on in the moment. That's why Providence actually gives you a form to find out do you learn best, visually, auditorly or kinesthetically. I have seen amazing doctors in the past - she is about one of the worst I have ever seen, despite her knowledge. She would not renew my glasses prescription for 2 years which is standard - "b/c it is a medical device"... whaaaa? What does that even mean? That I could some how use my glasses 'wrong'? It is true, it's the Drs. discretion about how long the RX will last - but in 25 years of getting contacts and glasses - no one has ever made it for less than 2 years. I guess that puts more $ in their pockets with exams more often is all I can imagine why you would even do that? I read she told another guy here that the eye drops were a 'medical device' - a device is not the same thing as a product. The eye drops are a medical product. She's clearly off here in more ways than one. She seems to be paranoid about people and their eye health. The whole experience made me feel like she is lacking financially - so she has Groupons to get more clients, and the UPSELL is the thing that makes the difference for her financial ROI? Just save yourself the headache - GO to another eye doctor, I could have spent a similar amount with Penney's, had a much kinder, gentler experience AND had a glasses Rx that would last for 2 years. And, not been pressured to buy things from them. And, still gotten a good discount. I am now going to a medical doctor in my primary insurance group to make sure that the things she claimed I have and how dramatic she claimed them to be - are accurate. Gatti Vision tried and succeeded in 'upselling' us a treatment that they insisted our medical insurance would cover. Unfortunately, the insurance did not cover the treatment (which we stopped immediately as it seemed frivolous at best). But then we were billed for full payment, even though the Gatti Vision staff was to blame, at least in part, for not verifying that our insurance would cover the treatment. We reached out to try to find a reasonable solution w/ partial payment of the bill, but they just sent our bill to collections without taking any ownership for their responsibility for the mix-up. Their modus operandi seems to be 'get as much as you can from insurance and if the insurance doesn't cover it all, stick the patient with the bill'. Wonderful business model! read more

Gatti Vision is blind when it comes to customer service. I'm shocked that this establishment has any positive reviews. I wish I could give them negative 5 stars. Beware of the upsell, and don't buy ANYTHING from them. The upsell seems to be important to them, especially for customers like me who purchased a Groupon for the exam. I fell for paying an extra $25 for a Zeiss Cirrus OCT test, that takes a detailed picture of the eye to screen for different disorders. But shouldn't an exam be all inclusive for one price? Why charge extra? I believe it's because they needed to recoup losses from Groupon sales. But the main reason they get this scathing review is as follows: After my exam, I purchased 2 eye drops that Wednesday which I felt pressured into buying, for about $33. (I trusted her at the time). None of the staff mentioned to me that the products couldn't be refunded (the policy is neatly tucked away in the patient forms and is easy to miss but even there it only mentions glasses as non refundable). One of the products contains a preservative called benzalkonium chloride (aka BAK). When I spoke with my friend later (she knows more about dry eyes than a lot of doctors), she warned me of the dangers of using products with BAK. I did some research and decided I did not want to risk damaging my eyes. According to the The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI): "The most frequently used preservative, benzalkonium chloride (BAK), has consistently demonstrated its toxic effects in laboratory, experimental, and clinical studies." Here is the link: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20302969 So I left the product, which was unopened and still factory sealed, with my friend to return to Gatti Vision's office the next day (since I live an hour away and she lives closer), still not realizing they had a no refund policy. My friend went to their office the day after my appointment to return the products with my original receipt. She got different excuses why they couldn't refund the purchase, including that it would be a HIPPA violation (privacy issue) to disclose to her the information I signed. All they had to do was tell her that they did not accept refunds. Simple. But they didn't do that. The staff told her she had to wait 15 minutes to talk the doctor in order to get a refund. Getting the business owner's approval for a small refund on unopened, factory sealed products with a receipt? Ridiculous! My friend waited around nearly an hour to speak to the doctor but had to leave to get back to work. Before she left, an employee named Sky told her that the doctor would contact me. I received no call that day or the next (Friday). My friend also called on Friday and received more excuses. So I emailed them asking why my friend couldn't return the items. The weekend came & went, but no correspondence from the doctor. The following Monday, I received an email stating that the doctor would contact me. Again, no contact. So on Tuesday I called & talked to the office manager, Alex. She told that I had signed paperwork stating Gatti Vision does not accept refunds because they can't resell "medical devices" once they are returned. Why couldn't someone have given me or my friend this info sooner? Why hide refund policies in the middle of patient paperwork? And are eye drops really medical devices? When I stated to Alex that I had concerns about the product because of the preservative BAK, she replied that the doctor said BAK was safe in small quantities. The doctor told me during the exam that I would use it for my seasonal allergies, which I've had my whole life. Over the course of several years that would not be a "small quantity", given the cumulative amount of product my eyes would absorb. Since the doctor believed BAK was safe in any quantity, I don't trust her judgment. And neither should you. Should I really have to fight a doctor's office to return something which has harmful side effects? Gatti Vision can hide all it wants behind a disclaimer hidden among their forms. They can say that they are customer service oriented & that carrying the products is just a convenience for their patients, but if they really cared about their customers, they wouldn't resort to such deceitful business practices or sell toxic products. Also, even with my $200 eyeglass credit through Groupon (which I didn't use), a single pair of glasses would have cost me around $400; translation: normal price at Gatti is $600-$700. I took my prescription elsewhere and got 2 pairs of glasses with all the extras for $375. Moral of the story: Don't get medical services from places that advertise on Groupon or Living Social, and DON'T go to Gatti Vision. I disputed their charges with my bank for MONTHS before I got a refund for the products. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing; I just wanted to be treated fairly. Gatti Vision cares more about your wallet than your eyes. Avoid these vipers like the plague. read more

I have never in my life left a bad yelp review, but my experience was so notable that I feel compelled to post. 1. My glasses were extremely expensive despite the Groupon discount. They reflected blue light and got dirty extremely easily easily so I had to clean them 3+ times a day to see clearly. I did not know that the glasses were going to reflect the blue light - I would not have purchased them had I known because I find it extremely unfashionable and distracting to others 2. Dr. Dunn got my prescription wrong as confirmed by my Lasik surgeon 3. Dr. Dunn insulted me when I inquired about Lasik surgery at my appointment, and told me that she only refers patients that were 'serious about it' to her doctor (I was serious about it). 4. Dr. Dunn informed me that I had bumps on my inner eyelids and treated me for it but she did not give me the diagnosis - only after I inquired during my follow up appointment did she tell me that it was Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis. I have since confirmed with 3 other doctors that were involved with my Lasik procedure that these bumps were not a huge deal and that I did not need to be medically seen for them to the extent that I was. I ended up paying a huge medical bill for this condition (for which I had no symptoms). read more

Dr. Dunn is great. I like how young and down to earth she is. My first visit with her felt just like I'd been a patient for years. Her staff are friendly and polite. Especially Sky, I really liked her. My annual contact lens exam went well, with no unforeseen issues or charges. They even managed to get me a year's supply of dailies for about half of what I'd paid the year prior, bringing my out-of-pocket down to a very low amount. read more

Brought my kids to get contacts and part of what I was paying for was for her to teach them how to get them in and out. I knew that it would be challenging/take a little time, but they could get it with the right coaching. After the third or forth visit, my boys were begging me not to go back saying she was rude/mean to them and said things like "I don't know why you're not getting this. It isn't that hard!" After a few practice sessions with Dr Dunn, my kids refused to go back. She and her office were not upfront with the cost of her services. I made an initial payment and was told I would be billed for the balance...no problem. Received a bill FIVE months later that was for more than I was initially told. They told me that I could bring my kids back anytime...why would I do that? I'm writing this so you don't bring yourself or your family to see her either. I was disappointed, to say the least, when Dr. Dunn commented that my diabetes isn't really an autoimmune disease. During these times, I would expect some compassion and flexibility. Not , what felt to me like, making light of my medical condition. I felt like I was in a glorified America's best, but with higher prices. I made the mistake of buying a Groupon for an exam, and it was nothing but sales pitches the entire time from Dr. Dunn and her staff. I felt very uncomfortable and should have walked out. I just wanted an exam, not the over priced frames and lenses. They tell you their quality is better, but it really isn't better or worse, just much more money. I know, I've worn glasses and contacts my entire life. The Groupon $200 credit towards eyewear is useless when you pay an additional $400 out of pocket to get the frames and lenses. I am here for a prescription only. I had to pay additional for the exam too, because according to them glaucoma is extra? That's part of every exam I've ever had, and Groupon said "comprehensive exam." So I paid Groupon $59 and her $25 for a total of $84 for the prescription. I got my glasses and frames at the mall and very happy with them. Groupon keeps telling you "limited time to buy," but they have been saying that since August 2016 for this "deal." The fact that it's been on Groupon this long is tells you something, and she uses Gatti Vision, not Dunn Vision for the office name, but Gatti is not there. Response to Dr. Dunn's comment. 1. It did feel like a sales pitch, especially from the doctor, it's like nothing I experienced before at a doctor's office. 2. Actually I did check out the quality of the glasses while there, I think their fine, but overpriced, thus making the Groupon credit useless for me, just my opinion. 3. I was told I had no choice but to pay extra for the glaucoma testing if I wanted it checked. 3. I believe you "extended the Groupon deal" to gain a loyal customer base, nothing wrong with that. But it's not right to push more products and services, you're a doctor not a salesperson, right? I promise you, less sales and you wouldn't need to use Groupon for over a year. 4. I appreciate you honor your father, but it can be misleading as no patient calls a doctor by their middle name. This is why it felt like maybe the name remained due to reputation perhaps, rather than using your own name, or your own plus your fathers. 5. Dr. Dunn is officially my favorite now. Like, one of best medical visits I have had all year. If I didn't live in Alaska, she would be my forever optometrist. She personally returned my call in under 24 hours, used texting to obtain and verify my insurance before arrival, and was extremely effective with her time throughout my appointment. She not only took my dual insurance but made recommendations on how to best maximize my benefits for glasses and contacts. She discovered a retinal blister and papillary conjunctivitis, and explained these observations clearly, giving recommendations for eye drops on-the-fly. She reviewed my medical history with me and even understood what my chronic illness meant for eye care going forward. Due to a change of insurance, I needed a new eye doctor. Seeing so many positive reviews for Dr. Dunn I had hoped for a great experience. Following my first appointment today, I would describe it as just fine. Having all my papers completed ahead of time, they were still late for my exam. I also had to guess who Dr. Dunn was because she never introduced herself upon meeting me. I could just be picky, but i think the little things matter. The experience wasn't bad, but I've had better elsewhere. I won't be making it a priority to return. read more

Her office is clean and welcoming and she staff are fast, efficient and friendly. I found this clinic online, and called to ask if the cost of the exam would be less if I had my contact box with all the information on it. The receptionist said no, but that the exam was only $55, I was surprised, and specifically asked if that was for a contact lens exam, and she said yes. She didn't mention the Groupon until I arrived for my appointment, so I bought it from my phone. I was not informed about the extra charge until midway through the exam, so unless the receptionist had no idea that the contact lens exam costs more, she lied to me. Dr. Dunn is very knowledgeable, but I found her rather condescending. At this point, I was irritated, so i told her that I was only there because I had an online eye exam, but they were unable give me a prescription. She informed me that she was involved in trying to get legislation passed to outlaw online eye exams. I guess a little competition didn't sit well with her. I'm not happy about leaving such a negative review, but the whole experience was pretty bad. UPDATE: The owner responded, saying that none of their services cost $55, so I checked Groupon and found the price to be $57, but there's a discount, as of 3/21/19, so it's currently $47. And with regard to the online eye exams, she is against them, but I think should I be allowed to make that choice for myself. read more

Great customer service, professional and extremely friendly! Found this place a couple years ago when I developed a serious eye condition that set on over night. As I began to lose sight in my right eye, I scrambled to find a doctor before things got any worse. After stopping by multiple eye doctor locations with no avail and no availability, I stumbled into Gatti Vision. Before I could make it fully through the lobby, the doctor identified my right eyes' intense swelling and readiness. I was rushed into the exam room and examined. The problem was identified and the symptoms treated. Although, a lengthy recovery (3-5 weeks) Dr. Dunn was there with me all the way and made herself available Incase things turned south. I don't know about the rest of the parents in the world, but finding out every child should be seen by an optometrist in their first year of life and THEN finding out you were a few years behind with both kids, was STRESSFUL. I wasn't looking forward to trying to juggle two kids and myself at an eye appointment, or the finger shaking that might take place when the Dr. found out they had never been checked before. I called Gatti Vision to explain my situation and they were so kind and accommodating. Their staff assured me they could handle all 3 back-to-back appointments and they very generously worked with my tight schedule. I was still nervous when I walked into their beautiful office. Dr. Dunn met with me right away. She directed my sons to an area with a play kitchen and she and I sat down near them to go over our medical records in detail. She asked questions about my sons that I would never have thought of, but ended up being so important. When it came time for the exam, she sweetly directed each of my sons on what they needed to do. She knew just how to distract or amaze them in order to get them to comply with each test. My sons LOVED every moment, especially when she took the time to teach them about their eyes and what goes on inside of them. Even I learned a lot in those moments. When it came time for my exam, she set the boys to work with books and puzzles and magically managed to keep them occupied while also completing my eye exam with every bit of thoroughness she used while examining my boys. I'm still not sure how she did it. I realize this might sound strange, but Dr. Dunn was so kind, considerate and accommodating and I felt so taken care of that it filled my cup. I am so used to taking care of people, and often I forget what it feels like to be taken care of and treated like I have nothing to be responsible for except showing up. Thank you, Dr. Dunn, for reminding me. It turned out that the boys needed glasses. Never once did she shame me, shake a finger at me, or give even the slightest "you should have done this 3 years ago" hint. She was understanding, encouraging, and helped the boys pick out a pair in my price range. Gatti Vision had an in-house insurance plan that made eye care actually affordable...who would have thought? The Dr. also discovered that I had been misdiagnosed! She put a plan together to help my eyes improve, instead of just slapping on a band-aid with a higher prescription. I don't ever have time to write reviews, but there's no way I could not be grateful for Dr. Dunn and Gatti Vision. I feel like she is a hidden gem, and gems should never be hidden. I've been in need for a new eye doctor for years now, not good for someone with a high prescription like I do. I got a Groupon for Dr. Dunn's optometry clinic and it was well worth the money! The clinic is upstairs inside a business suite located in the middle of King City-easy to find. Her eye exam was thorough and quick, she gets right down to business, is very detail orientated, and answers any questions you may have! The sample lens she gave me were life changing! As a long time wearer of gas permeable lens, these daily soft ones are so incredibly comfortable and I loved wearing them all day! No dry or itchy eyes, no discomfort at all! I appreciated her knowledge, experience, and awesome eye exam I got with her last Friday! I will be continuing to see her for my yearly eye exams and refer her on! read more

Dr. Dunn has been my family's optometrist for a couple of years now. To say she is a master at her craft is an understatement in my book. She is extremely competent, efficient in her work, and well versed in her business. She is proactive in her recommendations to get ahead of underlying issues that may become problematic later on. This is a very difficult characteristic to find in any medical professional. Most treat what is in front of them and leave it at that. She also tries her very best to work within a person's budget constraints all while showing great compassion, professionalism, and an upbeat attitude. I live 45 minutes away but found Dr Dunn through a fabulous deal on Groupon so I decided to drive the distance. The drive was worth it. Dr Dunn and Skye were fantastic. The office was lovely. Skye was very helpful when I was picking out my glasses. They were both efficient but made everything feel relaxed. Dr. Dunn took the time to explain everything and answered all of my questions. Amber and her staff are truly amazing. My mom gave me a groupon coupon to help my daughter replace her glasses. They were informative, professional and excellent communicators. Used the Groupon and still ended up paying over $300 on top for one pair of glasses. I do require ultra thin lenses so I'm used to Paying extra but $500 total for a pair of glasses is highway robbery. Also, the doctor swore to me she was providing the thinnest lenses on the market (1.67) which is a flat out lie, 1.74 are thinner so she not only WAY overcharged us, she doesn't know what she's talking about or just purposely lied. Another thing, she had a terribly arrogant and condescending attitude towards me and my husband, was very short with us when we had questions and gave us basically a shiesty used car salesman vibe. Lastly, we called later to get a copy of the prescription and she said "its expired" after just 13 months... I've worn glasses and contacts since I was 9, over 20 years and I've NEVER been given a prescription for glasses for any less than 2 years. I bought new glasses at costco, got thinner lenses and more expensive designer frames all for less than $200. Avoid this place like the plague, she's obviously hurting for business as there is always a groupon out there and she's going to run her business into the ground by constantly ripping people off.
