They have a solid menu for breakfast items, pastries, coffees and non-coffee drinks! I ordered a mango lemonade drink with strawberry cream pastry, mango cream croissant and a chocolate cream croissant. They initially gave me a strawberry lemonade, but the barista was kind enough to remake me the correct drink. It is such a cute little cafe perfect for a lunch or coffee date with girlfriends or a little family outing thing. They have tables that are good for small groups or a couple friends! Gavi replaced the Amor a while ago, even though the sign above still says Amor haha. It's got the same bones as most of the other Korean bakeries in the area. The menus are pretty similar with some specialty drinks, but the sandwiches are the same as ones from Semicolon and the baked goods have the same vibes as others. That's not to say it's bad though! I would say that's how you know everything is solid and will hit that craving. I ordered a matcha London fog, which was delicious. They keep the tea bag in the drink, so the earl grey flavor stays strong. The matcha and tea flavors complement each other well. I've tried Gavi in Tillys before they opened their own cafe. The inside was quaint, nicely decorated and clean. They have a small self serve bakery section and everything looked super fresh and delicious. They also have a refrigerated cake section by the register. Their menu consists of a variety of sandwiches, same as the Tilly location and all of them I want to try! I had the bulgogi sandwich last time which was amazing so this time, I ordered the Peruvian chicken sandwich. It was just as amazing with the different flavors wrapped into this one sandwich. Bacon sando was in between two thick cut pieces of bread (sourdough maybe), with scrambled egg, more bacon than I would've expected, and a sort of hollandaise sauce that greatly complemented the flavors. And although the bacon wasn't crispy like I thought it was going to be, it was perfect! They have an 85 degree style serve yourself section at the entrance - filled with so many delicious looking pastries. But the quality and selection are definitely a step above 85.
